"Enel-sama... cough! I'm sorry!" One of the priests lying on the ground next to Ren's crew coughed, struggling to breathe, with intense pain spreading through his battered body.
The rest of the priests began to apologize with ugly faces. All of this happened in front of Ren and his crew, as well as Gan Fall.
"You useless fools!" Enel shouted disdainfully, showing no interest in them. He was filled with anger, furious at them for witnessing how easily they were defeated.
"I don't need weaklings like you in my empire! You will only taint it!" As soon as he said that, a bolt of lightning appeared out of nowhere and headed towards the priests.
Everything happened quickly, then Ren, who was facing Enel, responded swiftly, disappearing from his position using Shave.

The thunderous roar of the lightning spread throughout the area, creating a large cloud of dust that quickly dispersed.
Enel widened his eyes in shock at the scene before him.
"Wow, wow, so I made an effort to capture them alive, and now you want to kill them in front of me?" Ren, who had faced the lightning with his body, smiled.
His body turned completely black thanks to Armament Haki, and his defensive clothes didn't suffer any scratches, so he looked as he was before.
Ohm, the priest who was about to be obliterated by Enel's lightning, looked at Ren with deep fear and astonishment, as Gan Fall did, who fell to the ground in a comedic scene.
"You!! You ant who doesn't know the greatness of this god!!" Enel shouted some cliché phrases, but in reality, he felt extreme shock.

He didn't have a chance to think about it further because he sensed a severe danger. His eyes widened to the size of pins, and he turned into lightning before disappearing from his place.
But before he disappeared in a second, Ren appeared again and waved his sword.

Ren had turned Versa into a sword a while ago, so a 10-meter-long blade shot towards Enel. Ren narrowed his eyes slightly when he saw Enel flicker and disappear from his place.

The blade, saturated with Armament Haki and the strength of Blood Metal, didn't cut Enel, but it cut the ground and a few trees in the forest, creating an empty square.
"Nice reaction," Ren suddenly became excited about this battle.
Since he wasn't Luffy, he couldn't be immune to Enel's Devil Fruit, but his Rubber resilience could be compensated with the Armament Haki he developed day by day with the help of Haki Guide.
Ren had a lot of information about Enel's power. He had read several articles about his strength, and all that information was stored in his photographic memory.

It could be considered a weaker version of Future Sight.

When he saw dozens of trees being cut down easily, and Enel's serious expression, hope grew stronger in Gan Fall's heart!
Conis watched the battle with concentration. She hated Enel for killing her father and oppressing her people. She wanted Ren to kill him and rid them of him!
Returning to Enel, he quickly regained his arrogant behavior, but there was a hint of caution as he looked at Ren.
"Even if you're stronger than other ants, you'll still Just an ant!" He shouted loudly, then in the next moment, he grabbed his golden staff and attacked Ren.

The clang of iron collision echoing around could heared. Conis stared at the two figures in awe. Ren covered his hand with armament haki as he countered Enel's staff.
Enel hissed, then in the next moment, utilized his Devil Fruit power to increase the heat of the golden staff, smoke emanating from it, but Ren remained unfazed by the heat.
"Child's play," Ren sneered mockingly, intensifying the Armament haki on his hand as he glanced at the hot golden rod aimed at his face.
"I've got you!" Enel smirked wickedly, striking his staff forcefully at his opponent's face, but his expression shifted the next moment.
"Release my staff!" he yelled, trying to pry his weapon from Ren's grip, but to no avail. The physical strength difference between them wasn't significant, yet it wasn't negligible either.
"Of course, I'll return it as long as you wish," Ren calmly replied, tightening his grip on the staff and lifting it in the air, Enel with it.
"Damn it!" Enel cursed, contemplating letting go of the staff but quickly retracted the thought; this was his powerful weapon, and he couldn't relinquish it just like that!
*Boom!*

He didn't have a chance to think of a way to escape the situation. He was thrown to the ground while Ren still held the staff, slamming it into the ground alongside Enel.
"Argh!" an angry cry erupted from him. He didn't feel pain as he was a Logia user, but he felt humiliated being manipulated like this in front of everyone!
Ren released the staff, then grabbed Versa and was about to attack again, but Enel's enraged voice interrupted him.

A thick bolt of lightning surged from Enel's palm towards the seemingly calm Ren, taking only a second before the attack struck Ren's body.

"Captain!" Zala cried out in concern, then Nami glanced at her with a hint of annoyance and said, "Don't you trust the captain? Just watch and see what happens."
Zala fell silent, not daring to reply to Nami, realizing she was a newcomer to the crew, and Nami had seniority over her, not to mention, she was the strongest after Ren.
It seemed Conis and Gan Fall's expressions relaxed upon hearing Nami's words, then they quickly shifted their gaze back to the battlefield.
There, a dome of blue lightning and fire energy formed, shattering the ground beneath where Ren stood. The lightning energy disappeared quickly, replaced by a cloud of dust.
Enel laughed maniacally as he looked at the scene in front him. His arrogant smirk returned to his face, but it froze in place when he used his mantra to see what happened to his enemy.
"Stubborn!" A shiny black hand emerged from the dust pile, not empty but holding a red gun with numerous dragon patterns. One of the hand's fingers quickly pressed the trigger.

"What are these explosions, Aisa?!" Raki exclaimed in panic as she listened to the numerous explosions happening nearby.
They were heading towards the battle between Enel and Ren. Aisa had spotted them about to enter the fray earlier and informed the Shandians.
The mood in Shandia was somber due to Wyper's death; many strong warriors shed tears, though Raki and Aisa didn't.
But they had to fight to reclaim their land. So they suppressed their grief and headed towards the battlefield Aisa pointed to. They had to kill Enel today! To reclaim their land and avenge Wyper!
Shandian warriors were led by Braham and Kamakiri, while Rakki was in the lead carrying Aisa, leaping from tree to tree.
Aisa quickly responded to Raki's inquiry, "It's because of that blue-haired man! Enel is getting beaten like a child!" she said in shock as she watched the battle using her mantra.
Shandian warriors were shocked by Aisa's words but their excitement returned to their faces, and they increased their speed. They had to cooperate with the man fighting Enel and assist him!
Unfortunately, they didn't know their foolish thoughts might lead to their demise. They would only be a burden...

Returning to the devastated battlefield, several holes could be seen in the cracked ground, and many Upper Yard trees were destroyed.
"Pant... Pant... bastard" A weak curse escaped Enel's tired mouth. He looked at Ren, who fired another red bullet and transformed into lightning to evade it.
*Boom!* Taking advantage of the explosion's momentum, Enel decided to launch a counterattack. He transformed his golden staff into a serrated spear with three sharp blades on its head. This was Enel's deadly weapon—Nonosama Bō!
"I can do that too," Ren said coolly, then transformed Versa from a pistol into a spear resembling Enel's.
*Clang!* The weapons clashed, then Ren's physical strength prevailed over Enel's, forcing him to retreat after being kicked.
"Aaah!!" Enel screamed as his body flew like a broken kite, shattering several trees before crashing to the ground. Before he could suppress the pain, he felt his mantra warning him of imminent danger.
"Shit!!" Enel roared loudly as he found himself in an unfavorable position. A shiny black foot descended upon him, about to strike his skull and crush his face!

Enel transformed back into lightning and escaped from Ren's foot.
*Boom!!* Ren's foot smashed the ground where Enel had been standing just a second ago. He grimaced when he realized his attack had missed once again.
'His speed in escaping is beyond my Observation Haki. He has a stronger Haki than mine, so he has an advantage in this regard... Strange, Enel wasn't this powerful in the Canon, was he?', Ren thought in his mind as he held Versa, still in its serrated spear form, and pursued Enel.
"Enel's strengths are clear, Observation Haki and Devil Fruit. The Devil Fruit complements his Observation Haki, making him adept at escaping danger... But how did Luffy manage to defeat him?" Ren was lost in thought, but his body didn't stop attacking Enel and putting pressure on him.
He hadn't been serious until now; he wanted to experience fighting a user of a stronger Devil Fruit to better understand the power of the Goro Goro no Mi. This fruit would soon belong to him or one of his girls after all.
His spear clashed with Enel's, pushing him back again. Ren found a gap in Enel's defense, and it seemed the latter was not in a position to escape. He sighed and didn't use Armament Haki on his spear, cutting through Enel's body.
The spear passed through his body without causing any damage. Enel, who had previously thought he was captured, was now ecstatic and thought to himself, "He can't hurt me!"
'If I didn't want an interesting experiment, I would have killed him a long time ago...'Ren scoffed mentally as he saw Enel gaining more confidence.
'Luffy couldn't defeat someone as powerful as Enel without learning any type of Haki. Hell, he hadn't even learned Gear Second back then. Could it be that 'the world' itself helped him?', Ren pondered.
Ren kicked Enel in the stomach again, watching him crumple to the ground. He quickly jumped into the air and covered his foot with Armament Haki.
As he was in the air, preparing to strike Enel, he thought to himself, 'I've read about such plots in my previous life, 'the will of the world' choosing the destined child to control this world. And undoubtedly, that hero in this case is Luffy, but he's currently imprisoned. Could an incident occur that would lead to Luffy's liberation? Such plots were common in the stories I've read.' Ren furrowed his brows when thinking about this, realizing he needed to wrap things up in Skypiea quickly and return to Luffy's side to prevent any unexpected incidents from happening.
He also guessed that Garp was about to arrive in Alabasta. The old man loved his grandson and would comply with his conditions; he wouldn't dare do anything to him because he's a Warlord.
'In a world like this, absurd laws can restrict a powerful person like him, pathetic.'
"Aaagh!! Damn it!!" Enel's painful scream snapped him out of his thoughts. He looked at his foot covered in Armament Haki, which had struck Enel's abdominal muscles.
"It seems you couldn't escape this time." Ren lifted his foot off Enel's body and allowed him to transform into lightning and appear several meters away. Enel's eyes were red with anger and pain as he held his abdomen, now marked with a blue bruise.
"Dare to hurt me, I am the god!" he roared in anger, then struck the drums behind his back angrily.
A lightning dragon formed in front of Enel as he pointed his weapon, which had returned to its staff form, towards Ren.

The distinctive sound of lightning spread, and the large blue lightning dragon, formed from pure electrical energy, headed towards Ren at lightning speed.
Within a few seconds, it had already reached Ren.

The girls watched as the lightning dragon struck Ren with various expressions; concern, confidence, mockery, and indifference.

The world fell silent.
