"Hi... I would like to thank you for everything you've done for this kingdom," Cobra spoke clearly, audible to everyone in the previous battlefield.
"Haha, no need for thanks. You know why I did it, don't you?" Naturally, he referred to his agreement with Vivi.
Vivi tensed upon hearing his words while the others, except his crew, didn't understand what he meant.
"Yes... we can discuss that later, Mr. Ren. And now, what do you think about resting in my royal palace?" Cobra tried to avoid talking about the conditions Ren had made with his daughter and offered his savior to go to the palace for some rest.
Even though he was a pirate, it didn't change the fact that he and his people saved him, Cobra wasn't the kind of person to hold grudges; he was one of the rare understanding kings.
"Thank you, Cobra-san, but there is still something I must do here..." With that said, he disappeared in front of Cobra, startling the latter, then reappeared amidst the crowd.
"I found you!" Ren laughed and clenched his Haki-coated fist then lunged towards Ace.
"Ace!!"
"Be careful!"
Luffy and Zoro shouted when they saw Ren suddenly appear in front them.
Narrowing his eyes, Ace jumped off his horse and confronted Ren's attack.

Fierce winds spread as their fists met, competing for sheer physical strength, Sand scattered, and the sound of a high collision resonated in the area.

Ace lost in their first clash and was thrown towards one of the houses, smashing it, but he quickly got up, flames surrounding his body.
He wanted to use his Fire Fist and burn his enemy, but there were many civilians as well as Luffy and his crew; the range of his fire Fist was large, and it would hit them.
Keeping his cool, he looked at Ren and said, "Why are you attacking me?"
Ren loosened his fist and moved closer to Ace using Shave, saying, "Heh, what is the 2nd division commander of the whitebeard pirates doing here?"

He had received many awards after defeating Crocodile, Doberman, and the rest of the Baroque Works agents, in addition to dismantling the Alabasta plot.
He didn't have time to examine them, so he took out a bounty reward that caught his attention and consumed it eagerly.
The mission he completed to obtain this scroll was:

He felt like he could now armor his entire body with Haki.
But it didn't stop there; his Haki continued to grow and strengthen without pause, Ren's mind was overwhelmed by the new power coursing through every cell of his body.
"Whew..." He exhaled a breath of cold air and looked at his now entirely black body.
At this moment, Ren had mastered the initial level of Armament Haki, "Basic Hardening", and entered into intermediate mastery,"Saturation!"
With the additional physical strength he gained from his increased Haki, his power had multiplied several times over!

The fire bullets hit the sand, creating loud noises and leaving countless craters in the sandy ground, but Ren remained unscathed.
"Is that all you've got, Donut?"
Ren laughed and looked at Ice with a mocking expression.
"What did you say?! Donut? I don't know what that is, but it makes me angry!" Ice shouted and decided to launch another attack.
"Fire Spears!"
A spear of fire formed in his right hand, and he used all his physical strength to throw it directly at Ren's stomach.

The spear hit Ren directly, and flames spread over his body, covering him in smoke, leaving the spectators shocked.
