4 Chapter 2 - 3 Idiots

I decided that I would limit my use of Japanese honorifics from now on as I would rather not use it than be rude to the people who might actually know how to and is really using it.

『 Omniscient POV 』

"Wh-what?! What do you mean I'm an idiot, aren't you two the idiots?! I mean look at this vast ocean and look at your BOAT!! Because even though I'm lost, I know that sailing that ocean with just that boat is dangerous!"

And once again, within just an hour, Midoriya once again stuttered because of the response that he got from the teen in front of him.

Seeing the sight before him, Coby couldn't help but muster his courage and yell...

"He-hey guys, stop pointing at each other. Both of you are idiots!"

... Out the words that he instantly regretted yelling.

"I-i-i-I mean! Stop po-pointing a-at each o-other, i-it wo-woudn't do a-anything to help bo-both of you!"

Panic, that was the only thing that Coby felt when he saw how a couple of pairs of eyes were looking at him.

And a moment after he noticed that, he somehow felt that a high amount of pressure, that he didn't know where was coming from, were aimed at his whole being.

Fortunately or not, he realized where it was coming from, and so, he desperately tried to explain what he meant while stuttering throughout his whole sentence.

Though, by the amount of how much the pressure that is still aimed at him had seemingly increased, it seemed that his words backfired at him.

Because instead of making the situation better, his words only made it seem like both Midoriya and Luffy are lost costs.

'Although it is somewhat true, I doubt that is something that someone like me should have said!'

Coby fearfully scolded himself in his mind as he continued to endure the seemingly increasing pressure that was crushing him.

'What the heck is he talking about?'

Contrary to Coby's thoughts, however, Luffy and Midoriya's thoughts and feelings were the same at this moment.

Both of them are confused as to why Coby suddenly shouted at them and then suddenly became weak minded as he timidly explained to them something that confused them further.

Not only that, but after he spoke, both of them could swear that they heard a crack of something before Coby's whole body began to flood with sweats.

"Co-coby, are you all right?"

Midoriya asked with a bit of stuttering as he was still startled by being identified as an idiot, by a person who he also called as one.

Hearing his concerned tone, Coby couldn't help but release a sigh of relief before he nodded his head and spoke out his own response.

"Just to make sure, you two aren't angry at me, are you?"

Once he heard those words, Midoriya, who was already confused like a cat, which is being told to do some dog tricks, couldn't help but be more confused.

"Pfft-"

Luffy, on the other hand, instead of being confused, couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"You two look like an idiot cousins who made mistakes at each other!! Hwahwahwahwa!"

After he spoke, a new set of unique laughter was released from Luffy's mouth as he pointed at Coby and his first pirate crewmate, Izuzu.

As a result of his words, both Coby and Midoriya gave him a deadpan look...

'If we're both idiots, then you, Luffy-san, is someone I would consider as a retard.'

... Before Coby told that to particularly no one, inside of his head.

"Huh? Did you guys felt that?"

Though, as if his words were heard, Luffy's face morphed into a deep frown as he asked that question while he looked left and right, frivolously.

"Felt what?"

Asked Midoriya, before he seemingly decided on to something ans shook his head before saying.

"Our conversation won't move from this if we continue this so, let's all just drop this matter should we?"

"Ye-yes! I highly agree to that!"

"Sure~ shishishishi."

After hearing those words, Coby hurriedly agreed to Midoriya while thanking the Gods for giving him a scape route, as he don't think he'll survive longer if they continue to talk about this topic.

Luffy, on the other hand, after not finding the source of his discomfort, just shrugged his shoulders as he answered the young hero, while once again picking on one of his nostrils.

Seeing and hearing their responses, Midoriya couldn't help but release a genuine smile.

After all, it has been a long time since he could banter like that to someone of his age without feeling the dark atmosphere that swallowed the whole Japan.

However, now that he remembered this, a serious look suddenly appeared on his face as he asks the question that started this whole banter.

"So guys, can you tell me now where this island is and where is the direction of Japan and how far it is from here?"

Suddenly being asked with those questions, Luffy and Coby stared at each other before they looked at Midoriya once again.

"Although I'm not sure which island this is, I know for sure that we are in East Blue. One of the Four Blues of this ocean, and the weakest one. As for this "Japan" that you kept asking about, sorry but even I don't know where that is."

Thankfully, one of them decided to finally answer his questions, but the answer that he got was not the one that he was hoping for.

"Wha-what do you mean you don't know Japan?! And what even is "East Blue"? "Four Blue"? Where the heck are those?!"

At first, Midoriya couldn't help but stutter once again at the words of the pink haired boy but as he continue to ask questions, he began to panic as an impossible idea suddenly appeared in his mind.

"Yo-you don't even know what those are?!"

Unfortunately, Coby seems to be in the same state of shock and panic as he continue to speak.

"Then how the hell did you managed to get in this islet?! Did you flew towards here or something?!!"

The ex-cabin boy asked the young hero as he remembered how Alvida was flown away by Luffy's one punch.

"You can fly!!?"

Sadly, Luffy seems to be unable to comprehend the situation right and so, he asked a question that has a very small significance in their current discussion.

And while doing so, his wide black colored eyes shined with sparkles in them, while his mouth is open wide with a toothy, goofy smile.

"Well, the truth is..."

Ignoring Luffy's random question and questionable antics, Deku hesitated for a moment before he decided to just tell the truth to them.

"I was fighting someone incredibly powerful and as his final arttack at our fight, he sent me here by one of his Quirks."

He decided to say that because Midoriya simply doesn't see any reason as to why hide such a simple answer.

Besides, he is the one asking for help right now and thus, he felt like it is just right that he should be truthful about that... for now.

"..."

"..."

As soon as he said those words however, a deafening silence suddenly swallowed the trio before two of them finally asked a question of their own.

"Quirks? What's that? Is that some kind of meat?!"

"Po-powerful? Do-does that mean you have powers as well?"

Confusion is evident on their faces and that confusion, furthermore ignite the panic that is building inside Midoriya's mind.

"N-no way..."

Midoriya whispered to himself as a sense of doom suddenly huged his whole body.

"Map! I need to see a map!"

Fortunately, Midoriya managed to scape that feeling as he hurriedly asked for the one thing that would most likely confirm his theory.

"I do have one but it is just a map that contains the East Blue."

The pink haired boy replied with some concern in his voice, after all, from the panic tone that he is getting from Midoriya's voice, things could not be good for him.

"That's fine! Please let me take a look at it!"

Midoriya yelled out loud as he failed to calm himself.

After all, if his theory is proven to be correct, his previous fight with Shigaraki would be the last one.

And he doesn't even want to think what that would mean for his friends and allies.

『 Luffy's POV 』

Once again, I find myself staring at Izuku's body like earlier.

No, that's wrong because right now, I can finally notice the issue that I was feeling earlier that I couldn't discover previously.

'He's wounded...'

I thought to myself as I continue to look at the wounds that are barely or already healed, but I know for sure that internally... he is still wounded.

Not to mention the fatigue.

'After all, I'm quite familiar with that state.'

While thinking of that, nostalgic memories suddenly appeared in my mind, memories that should've traumatized me but did not and instead, made me stronger.

"So he really fought someone powerful and was sent here."

I whispered to myself as I noticed the despair that is starting to show on Izuku's face.

『 Midoriya's POV 』

'No...'

'Thi-this can't be true!'

'Please if this if a nightmare... please, somebody, wake me up!!'

Those are my thoughts as I stare at the map that Coby worriedly gave me.

"Ha.. haha... hahahahaha!"

Finally, after what felt like a year, my mouth finally opened themselves to release a desperate laughter that sounded like a laugh of a madman.

"I... I failed..."

And after a few minutes of laughing, I finally got tired of it and thus tears began to fell from my eyes as I said those words.

'I failed you... All Might-sensei... everyone... I failed!'

I thought to myself as I began to remember the people that put their lives just for me to survive and fight against Shigaraki.

"N-no!"

And once I remember the face of my mother at her last moment, despair and anger finally flooded my mind.

「 "HahAhaHaha~~! Fine! I look forward to seeing you try!!" 」

But that's not the end of it, as I suddenly remembered the words of the bastard that threw me here.

「 "... Well, that is... if you ever managed to get back here!" 」

After I remembered that, my eyes suddenly opened wide with a crazy amount of hatred emitting inside of them.

「 "Sayonara Midoriya-kun, HahAHahAha~~!!" 」

And finally, once I remember how he happily laughed at what he did, my anger finally clouded my mind.

"Shigaraki!!!"

And while that is happening, I couldn't help but release my [ Intent ] uncontrollably.

But by doing so, I unintentionally hit Coby, who is quite close to me, with it.

"Oi what are you doing!?"

Thankfully, Luffy reacted quick enough and so, he managed to pull Coby away from me.

By making his arms expand...?

"Wha-"

Those were the last thing I remember before I suddenly felt a quick jab on my neck that took away my consciousness.

『 Coby's POV 』

More than 10 minutes after Midoriya's outburst, I finally regained my breathing but my calmness is still nowhere to be seen.

"Thank you Luffy-san."

But, of course, I did not forgot to thank the person that saved me once again.

"Don't come close to him, it's not safe to do so..."

As a response to my words, Luffy-san nodded his head before he said that to me.

And naturally, I instantly agreed with him, after all, I don't want to feel that dreadful feeling again.

'I feel like I almost died from that, if not for Luffy-san, I don't know if I would still be breathing right now.'

I thought to myself as I tried to understand why Midoriya suddenly did what he did, how he did it, and who is this Shigaraki?

"I understand, for now, I will go back to the boat because I feel much safer their now."

Though, after failing to find a suitable answer to my questions, I finally decided to move as far as possible from Midoriya until Luffy-san tells me otherwise.

And once again, my words just received a couple of nod from Luffy-san.

'I hope Midoriya's fine by the time he woke up.'

I silently said my sincere thoughts as I made my way towards the small boat that we got from Alvida's pirates.

『 Omniscient POV 』

Whilst Coby went towards their boat, Luffy on the other hand couldn't help but frown as he think about the pressure that he felt from Midoriya's outburst.

'Gramps...'

As Luffy continue to think about Midoriya's attack, he finally remembered the only person that he knew that could do the same.

'He once used the same thing to make the pirates that tried to attack the Goa Kingdom surrender.'

As he thought of that, the frown on Luffy's face became even more evident, to the point that wrinkles began to appear on his skin.

'But compared to the pressure that Gramps released at that time... Izuku's outburst is much heavier. Is it because of this shigakaki person?'

Unfortunately, before he could uncover the answer to his questions, Luffy finally noticed that his face has changed its color, simply because he forgot to take a proper breathing while he was thinking very deeply.

"Oh no! I forgot to breath while I was thinking super~ hard!!"

Yelled out Luffy after he stopped thinking and began to catch his much needed oxygen.

Fortunately, Coby is not here to hear him because if he did, he would subconsciously look at Luffy like the idiot that he is.

After several minutes of silence, Luffy finally decided to take what he thought is the right decision.

"Whatever, I'll just ask him after he woke up."

He nodded his head with an unwavering resolve before he once again sat on the ground.

Waiting for the cause of his and Coby's almost untimely death to wake up.

『 Meanwhile 』

In some unknown location, a throne made out of an unknown materials can be seen.

The throne is quite larged compared to the norm and has a unique theme color of blue and white, with a little bit of gold mixed in it.

And from the looks of it, a fluffy fur can be seen being used to make the throne much more comfortable to sit on.

Though, as if to much the appearance of the throne, a nicely made short but high stairs can be seen connecting the throne to a nicely decorated hallway that is headed towards a mysterious looking door.

The door is black in color and seemingly looking like a normal one, but no.

From the atmosphere and aura that the door is giving, it is clear that this door is very far from the norm.

And although these factors are already a sight to behold, on the two sides of the hallway are metalic small fences that separates the hallway to an open space that has multiple swords that is stabbed on the ground.

Standing tall even though most of them already has a sign of old age, adding a much more uneeded mysteries to this place.

Then, several meters away from the hallway, a small group of people that is currently on one of their knees while their heads are lowered, but is still facing the direction to a certain person, can be seen.

Meanwhile, the said person is currently leisurely walking on the hallway, heading towards the throne.

This person has a feminine build, has a luxurious but old looking dress put on her body, and is quite tall; even if one were to ignore the tall crown that was place on top of her head.

Shortly after, she finally reached the short stairs and once he reached the end of it, the person sat on the said perfectly sculpted throne.

After that, silence finally echoed out in this room now that the person who sat on the throne stopped moving their feet.

"Iks, have you found the thing that Mu had address you to identify?"

And after a long while of silence, the person on the throne finally spoke.

And from the tone and pitch of the voice, the gender of this person is no doubt that of a female.

"Yes, Great Imu. I've also sent one of the shadows to head there as we speak."

Then, not long after she spoke, one of the kneeling people beneath her gave a short and respectful response.

"Excellent, then Mu shall expect a good result out of this."

The person who was called, Imu, nodded her head while saying those words, though, her voice contained nothing sort of satisfaction or excitement but instead, is full of coldness.

"But of course, Great Imu."

Iks, the person who continuesly spoke to Imu, replied one last time with a smirk that carries a huge confidence.

Where such a confidence is coming from, no one knows, but one thing is for sure; this person will be disappointed by the result of his mission.

××× 『 A.N. 』 ×××

Izuzu is not a typo, just thought that Luffy would more likely call Midoriya like that considering his name. And although it's not official yet, in Luffy's mind, Midoriya is already a member of his pirate crew.

Just managed to catched up to the latest chapter few minutes ago, and good thing I did. Cause those 20 chapters I read was quite the chapters if I say so myself. And they helped me put some life to Imu's character here, though it's just the way that she spoke that I changed because as far as I believe, Imu is a full pledge immortal woman.

That's a belief that I had since she first appeared in the manga and I will continue to do so, unless revealed otherwise.
