Chapter 13 - Buggy Special Cannon, Fire!!

Several minutes earlier, at the time when Luffy was just about to atyack Mohji and Richie...

"Shh!! Be quiet, you lot!!"

Quiet whispers of four people can be heard from a pretty hidden place, close to where Luffy was.

Fortunately, before they could be heard and found by the straw hatted pirate, the leader of the group whispered those words rather loudly.

And although his words worked, there were still some whispering that could be heard from his members from time to time.

'Bunch of idiots! Mohji-sama wouldn't like the fact that we've followed him just because Cabaji-san ordered us to, so they better pray that he doesn't learn about us!'

Thought the leader as he shook his head in frustration before he just gave up and watched the fight that was about to happen.

*Bam!*

*Tad!*

Though, what the witnessed next truly made each of them quiet because they saw how their vice captain was sent towards the house, which is quite closer to their hiding place.

As a result of that, the whispers that annoyed the leader earlier finally vanished as all four of them remained quiet as they could be, because of their shock at what had just happened.

Fortunately, or not, Mohji and Richie managed to stand back up again despite the damage that they received from the surprise attack.

"Wh-what?!"

"H-how could he do dat!?"

"Wha'cha fuck is he?!"

But then, seconds after that, the straw hatted pirate easily sent Mohji and Richie to the unconscious land.

Which greatly shocked the three of them.

But despite their shock, they couldn't help themselves but voice out their questions.

Thankfully, Luffy did not heard them when he was walking close to the to pick up something.

"Wh-what did he picked up?"

"Is it the treasure map?"

Of course, Luffy's actions were questioned by some of the pirates who was watching him from their hiding place.

"Idiots! What he picked up doesn't matter anymore!! Salvaging Mohji-sama and Richie-sama out of here, before they could even realize it, is the most important thing right now!!"

Though, those same pirates were scolded by their leader once again before the said leader turned his head towards the straw hatted pirate and his group, to make sure they were not heard or found and they were not watching Mohji and Richie's body.

"Let's go as quiet and as quick possible!"

Whisper yelled the leader before he lead his team towards where Mohji and Richie lays.

"You three carry Richie-sama back to the bar, imma do the same with Mohji-sama."

And with that command, the five pirates and one beast quickly escaped that place.

They all ran so quickly that dust had began to follow them.

And not long after that, as a reward for their short but quick marathon, the group reached their base.

"H-he's a monster!!"

"H-he is right, Buggy-sama!! That guy can stretch out his own hands which he used to fight Mohji-sama and Richie-sama!!"

And once the group explained what had happened to their captain, two of them exclaimed out their understandable fear.

"Stretched? Captain, do you think he also ate a Devil Fruit and that he perhaps eat the Nosu Nosu no Mi, which made him the stretching human?"

After hearing their words, a tall, slender man with black-colored hair with a unique hairstyle, that covers half of his face, stepped closer to their captain.

And just like Mohji, this guy seems to not fear Buggy at all, as he said those words to the later person.

"There's no doubt about that! But so what if he ate a Devil Fruit as well?! In front of me and my cannon, he is nothing but a man waiting to be killed!!"

Exclaimed the clown pirate when he heard the man's fearless words.

After that, he ordered his men to prepare his special cannon and aim for the guy that made them run without his map in them.

"Fire!! Buggy special cannon!!"

*Boom!!*

Once the destruction of his cannon was seen, Buggy released a satisfied loud laugh.

"Bu-buggy-sama, we missed them!!"

But his laughter did not last that long as the news from one of his men brought that news to him.

"You bastards missed!!"

Hearing that, Buggy yelled out because of frustration at his men that controlled the cannon before he killed the two of them using the power of his own Devil Fruit.

"You four! Prepare the next cannonball!! If the next attack still missed... all four of you will met the same fate as them!!"

Exclaimed Buggy at the four pirates that brought back Mohji and Richie in their base, with a very dark expression.

Exclaimed the four men before they began to move their asses and started to prepare the cannonball and cannon to attack their opponents once more.

"Buuugggyyyy!!! You scum of a pirate!!! Come down here and fight me!!!"

But as they do so, all of the Buggy Pirates suddenly heard a loud shout comming from the ground, in front of their base's entrance.

"Who's that man?"

"I'm Boodle!! The leader of this village, or in other words the chief!! Come down here and fight me, Buggy the Clown!!"

Then as if hearing their captain's words, the man introduced himself before he once again announced his goal for coming to their place.

"HAHAHAHA fight the captain?! Do you really think you can win!?"

"..."

Though, the only reaction that his words received was the mockery of almost all of Buggy's crew.

"Captain Buggy..."

As the crew of pirates laugh at the challenge of the village chief, the tall man from before once again spoke to Buggy with a smile on his face.

"What?"

"Lately, I feel like my skills are getting rusty..."

He said that before he suddenly stopped speaking as he opened his mouth too wide than the norm and pulled out a sword out of it.

"... So, please, let me handle that small fry!"

After that, he swung the sword several times before he yelled that and jumped on top of his unicycle, as a spinner also appeared at the sword's tip and spun.

This man is the second strongest in Buggy's crew, his name is Sanbouchou but he's more known as, Cabaji the Acrobat.

"Whooo!! Cabaje-san es going for tha feght!!"

"Go for it, Cabaji-san!!!"

"""Whooo~!!"""

Witnessing his actions and words, the rest of the crew cheered for him as their excitement grew by the second.

"You idiot!! The one he called for was me, you just stay back there."

But despite that, Buggy seems to not share the same enthusiasm as them because he denied Cabaji's request before he turned his head to face Boodle ones again.

"Hey, you! Why are you challenging me? Is it for fame?!"

Although he heard the disappointment of his men at his decision, Buggy still refused to change his decision as he asked that question to Boodle.

Hearing Buggy's question, the village chief yelled out that this village was his treasure and he explained that he would fight him and his crew to death if that's what it takes to keep it safe.

"HAHAHAHA!! What an idiot!! The word "treasure" brings to mind the thoughts of gold, silver, ang jewels! The owner has to have some sense of dignity and pride of it before calling it a treasure!!"

When Buggy heard that, he couldn't help but laugh loudly at him before he begun to redicule Boodle for his so-called treasure.

"The village is your treasure?! What a bunch of nonsense!!"

"Don't mess with me!! I never would've realized my love for this village if not for people like you!! Come down here and fight me, clown!!"

Anger were apparent at Boodle's scream as he responds to Buggy's words.

"Come down? I don't want to!"

Exclaimed Buggy before his left hand till wrist detached itself from his arm and flew towards Boodle's throat.

"Wha- Aghh!"

And before Boodle could even react, his throat had already been clenched by the hand that flew towards him.

"M-monster!!"

Yelled Boodle before he began to punch the hand that is holding him up above from the ground.

"Huh!? That hurts dammit!! Are you an idiot, hitting your own neck would-!!"

Witnessing Boodle's crazy counterattack, Buggy first exclaimed in anger before he began to speak out his question, but then...

"Cough!!"

"See I told you so!!!"

... Buggy didn't managed to finish his words as it had already happened before his and his men's eyes.

"Cough!! Cough!!!"

But despite coughing his own blood, Boodle still continued to hit the hand at his throat.

Then as if finding that scene amusing, Buggy suddenly began to laugh before he spread his arms wide up towards the sky and rumble about how great of a pirate he is now and how he will be a greater one later, once he reached the Grand Line.

"Now, face the consequences of your disrespect towards me!!"

"Kehck!!"

Exclaimed Buggy before he began to slowly clench his hand harder than before.

"Kill him off, Captain!!"

"Go for it!! HAHAHAHA!!!"

As a result of Buggy's action, his crew's excitement increased than earlier.

On the other hand, Boodle's punches on Buggy's hand had now fully stopped as he tries his best to pull the clown's hand away from his throat.

'I can't close my eyes!! Not until I give him a punch in his face!!'

Thought Boodle as desperation for oxygen began to appear in his mind.

"Now that I think about it, if this village is truly important to you..."

Then as if his desperation was heard, Buggy's hand suddenly stopped clenching harder as the owner of the hand spoke his thoughts out loud.

"... Wouldn't it be proper to send it to nothingness along with you!?"

"What the hell, you coward!! Fight me!!"

Exclaimed the clown pirate before he turned his head towards the four men that already prepared the cannon.

"Oi...! Whatever... Blow it all apart!!"

"I won't allow you to do anything to the village!! Fight me!!"

After gathering all of the oxygen that he could get, Boodle exclaimed those words louder than Buggy's command.

Which delayed the action of the four men because they didn't heard the command of their captain to them.

"Huh?"

Then as if the heaven was saving them from being punished, Buggy suddenly felt a strong grip hold his hand.

"Straw hat!!"

And when he turned his head to find out what had happened, Buggy's eyes couldn't help but get wide because of shock before he yelled at the bastard who stopped him.

Then as if he was not surprised at the straw hat's sudden appearance, Cabaji had already made his move as he sent several knives towards their new opponents.

*Clang!*

*Ting*

"!!"

But despite the element of surprise of his attack, a sword still managed to hit his knives before they could even fly closer to his target.

"We aren't that late for the party, are we?"

After that, the deep vouce of the sword's owner were heard by all.

"Roronoa Zoro!!"

Cabaji's exclaim finally brought the other pirates out of their shocked state, as almost everyone of them instantly brought out their weapons before they pointed it at the trio who had just arrived.

"Looks like we arrived in time! Shishishi!!"

Exclaimed Luffy before he laughed loudly.

On the other hand, the orange-haired woman behind them sigh in relief when he saw that Boodle is still alive.

"Listen, I don't care whether you guys fight or not. Do as you wish. I'm just here for the treasure and once I got it, I will leave this place. So you guys better be at the shore by then or else I will leave the two of you, I won't wait."

After double checking that the chief is still breathing, Nami turned towards Zoro before she pointed her index finger at him and said that.

"We know."

But instead of Zoro, it was Luffy who answered her words.

"All of you... why did you follow me here? You three stay out of this fight, this is my war and I shall face it alone!!"

Shortly after Luffy spoke, Boodle slowly began to stand up while he was saying that.

"I'm the chief of this village and I will protect it, so don't interfere!!"

But just as he was about to run towards the direction of Buggy's crew, Luffy suddenly grabbed his face and pushed him towards a wall not far away from them.

"!!?"

"What?!"

"Huh!?"

As a result of Luffy's sudden action, Boodle's mind was forcefully sealed into the dreamland while Nami and Buggy made sure their surprise were apparent.

"Why did you do that?!"

"He'd just get in the way."

Luffy answered Nami's questions without any guilt or regret before he turned to Buggy and...

"Hey, you! Big, ugly,red nose!! Fight me!!""

... yelled that out loud.

"Ehh!?"

""""Whatttt!?""""

His scream not only shocked Buggy and his men but also Nami, who's jaw was just about to reach the ground.

"Fire the Buggy special cannon!! Fire!!"

And after the initial shock, Buggy's response was to command his men to fire the cannon that they had prepared earlier.

*Boom!*

And what followed after was a deafening noise.

『 5 Minutes Earlier 』

Several kilometers away from the bar, Midoriya can be seen flying above the buildings looking for the place where the pirates are based at.

'Quick!'

He thought to himself as he once again increased his acceleration.

'I must save his home... this time, I'll make sure to succeed!'

The lost hero thought to himself as he remembered the boy that looked exactly like Oli.

After Midoriya heard the full explanation of what happened and how the boy come to know it from Oli himself, the former person quickly said his gratitude and farewells to Adeline before he flew away towards the village's direction.

And although Oli wanted to tag along with him to be his guide, Midoriya did not agree with it as he fear that something might happen to him if he agrees with it.

Thus, it is now up to himself to find where the pirates are.

However, it seems that that decision does have its own consequences as no matter how much he looked for it, he still hasn't found the bar.

And although the size of this village is not that big, the distance between the shelter site and the village itself is quite far.

Making him question as to how Oli, a kid no older than 6, managed to run from the village until the shelter site rather quickly.

Unfortunately, if Midoriya had just accepted Oli's guidance, he would have learned that the road he took was a trap to prolong the travel of the outsiders.

Which would give the people of this place the time to prepare themselves to face the said outsiders.

If he just took Oli with him, Midoriya wouldn't have to go through the circular path towards the village and would've taken the straight path instead.

And now, despite managing to shorten the time to get out of the path trap, from an hour to just a few minutes, because of his flight, Midoriya still couldn't find the building that he needed to find.

*Boom!!*

Thankfully, as Midoriya was flying towards the northen part of the village, he heard a rather familiar noise at the western direction.

"There!"

And that noise helped him greatly, as he finally found the place that he was looking for.
