CHAPTER 2: SHELLS TOWN

As they approached Shell's Town, the trio's excitement grew. Alex, eager for adventure and intrigued by the prospect of meeting Roronoa Zoro, couldn't contain his anticipation. Luffy, always seeking new crewmates, was curious about Zoro's strength, while Koby looked forward to fulfilling his dream of joining the Marines.

Upon entering the town, they were greeted by the sight of the Marine base, a towering structure that loomed over the town, a symbol of authority and power. Koby led the way, his determination evident in every step as he headed towards the base to enlist.

"So where will we find Zoro?" Luffy eagerly asked. The surrounding people reacted with scared expressions.

"I heard he is imprisoned in the marine base, captured by Captain Morgan." Koby stated. The surrounding people again reacted but were more scared of Morgan's name than Zoro's.

"Hahaha~ the people here are very funny" Luffy laughed with amusement.

As they walked through the town, they couldn't help but notice the fear in the eyes of the townspeople, a fear that seemed to be directed towards Captain Morgan, the Marine in charge of Shell's Town. Unexpectedly, the trio were also garnering attention, especially our MC Alex. Alex had never seen his face in a reflection so he didn't know how he looked but if he did, he would think he was gifted with good looks and as expected of a former prince. All the ladies were fondly staring at Alex and couldn't help but be influenced by his regal charm.

Their first stop was the Marine base, they looked over the wall and saw Zoro being tied up to a log. Just then a little girl climbed over the wall and went to Zoro. "Mister, thank you for saving me from the wolf of that Helmeppo guy. So, I made onigiri. Hope you like it."

"What are you doing here, kid, go away and I don't need your thanks." Zoro said annoyedly.

Just then Helpmeppo came with his guards. "Hey hey hey~ Roronoa why are you bullying a child and what do we have here, a little girl acting together with a criminal, what's this, ohh onigiri eh, give me that let me have it."

"No, it's not for you" Rika protested but couldn't do anything.

"Yuck! What's this? Why is it sweet?" Helmeppo spat and threw the onigiri and crushed it with his feet.

"Nooo don't! I thought it would be good if it was sweet, so I added sugar". Rika was heartbroken.

"What are you guys waiting for, throw her over the wall." Helmeppo ordered the marine guards.

"But she's just a little girl." A soldier worriedly stated. 

"If you don't do what I said I'll tell daddy." Helmeppo complained.

"Ok sir! Sorry lil girl pliz don't take it to heart."

The soldiers threw Rika over the wall and before she could fall and injured Luffy caught her.

"Wow! Thank you oni-san" Rika thanked Luffy. "Shishishi~no worries" Luffy was happy the girl was not hurt. After that Rika left running.

"How can the marines throw a lil girl like that and try to even harm them." Koby was shocked and angry.

"Like I said, Koby, life is full of grey moments and full of injustice. There are Marines who abuse their powers like the Yellow haired shii." Alex solemnly said.

Luffy jumped over the wall and met Zoro. "Hey, can you feed me that onigiri." Zoro asked Luffy. "Hehe sure but it's ruined tho". Luffy fed Zoro the onigiri. "Hmmm...Delicious..Thanks for the food. Tell the girl I said it was good." Luffy made up his mind here on recruiting Zoro as his new nakama.

After that they left and met with Rika again where she introduced her family restaurant since they were all hungry.

They met with Rika's mom and after Rika told everything that happened, she thanked them and said the food was on the house. While they were eating Helmeppo came with his men, he was bicching about executing Zoro early and not keeping his promise of releasing Zoro after 10 days. Hearing that Luffy was angry and punched him hard which resulted in Helmeppo flying out of the restaurant.

"You dare to attack me. I'll tell daddy to teach you a lesson" Helmeppo cried and ran away.

After that the trio went to rescue Zoro. They climbed the wall and met Zoro. "Huh! You guys again? What are you doing here?" Zoro inquired." They told everything about his execution and all, Luffy asked him to join his crew which Zoro agreed if they get his swords. 

Alex went separately from Luffy saying he will try to find anything valuable in the base.

While secretly searching for valuables in a room, he accidentally met Nami. "Hey! Who are you? What are you doing here?" Nami asked, she was little bit stunned seeing his face who looked handsome and couldn't helped but be mesmerized. "Shouldn't I also ask you the same thing Miss? I know you're no marine. So, you must be a thief." Alex asked back. "Huh! I heard some noise back there." Two guards suddenly exclaimed while Nami and Alex were talking, so they quickly hid in the room. "So, it's true then, miss here is a thief." "Yeah, same as you." Nami admitted and was curious about who he was.

BANG!!!

They heard a loud noise outside. It seems the fight has started. "Okay then Miss, it was nice meeting you, but I have to go. Duty calls." Alex ran out to join the fight. This will be his first ever fight in this new life. Eager to try out his new body's strength and skills.
