Regarding Romance

Hi guys! This is my second auxiliary chapter, eh? Today, we are going to be talking about one of the most important tag of this story: romance.

You might've been thinking that I've been neglecting this department. One question you may have is: "Literally three years passed by and nothing happened?!!"

Yeah, it may seem weird. But in truth, there is nothing more vague than romance; it happens when you least expect it—or never happen at all for some of us...

You may all be aware, it's very obvious, but there is this one girl I've been pushing very hard. There are two reasons I didn't push any further yet:

1. Kind of interrupts with the crucial parts of Rowan's development of strength. Better to focus on one at a time.

2. Feels like there is a lack of "oomph," a crucial aspect to develop into something worthwhile.

Don't worry though, I won't do any things that will ruin the fun of reading, such as abruptly killing the love interest or having them cheat. I hate tropes like that. Screw all NTRs!!!

Now, onto the next part of romance, that many readers may be concerned of: harem.

Already mentioned, but I am a harem enjoyer. Love seeing how mc gets girls... but... unfortunately, harem is unrealistic and the relationships tend to get superficial.

I don't want superficial romance, and I am not skilled enough to pull off an awesome harem fan-fic like that. Besides, I'm inexperienced in this department... :')

So let me tell you my goal for romance in this story:

[Not harem, but 'feels' like harem]

Yeah, this is what I want. I've thought about it for quite some time. So these are what you will be expecting:

- Rowan will have only one love interest. He won't cheat, and he won't stray until the end. He's a faithful chad. Every time another girl approaches, he will say 'no.' Why?

- He is from the modern era. Now, harem is something that is very enjoyable when you read, but in real life, there is nothing more truthful than giving all your love to your one and only love.

- But... the other girls are very tenacious. They aren't giving up. They will be like, "I don't care! I will make you like me more than her!" (This works because this is One Piece world. 'Haki,' get it? Willpower!!)

- They won't be willing to share. Nope. As I said, harem is just unrealistic; no girls are willing to do that.

- Annnd, what I love the most about harem: cat-fights!!

I think that's about it. Going to take some time for this to fully develop though. Hope this works out the way I want.

No longer the harem-like non-harem. Pure romance all the way!

...I just can't write something that breaks the flow of this story. No harem. Nope. Nah.

This fic isn't romance-centric anyway.
