One Piece: Slayer's Will

Life was always boring to me. Same routine, day and night, it gets the best of you. That's why I kept wishing, hoping, for my dream to come true... To go to another world. But, when your dream comes true and now you're stuck in a world where everything can be destroyed because of the whims of pirates...you begin to see how stupid you are... However, I won't be taken lightly. Because now I have a new dream in this dog-eat-dog world and it's not to be Pirate King...but... To live a valiant life. And I'll slay those who will get in my way. (The cover picture is not mine, also I don't own One Piece, Demon Slayer, or anything else you might recognize sadly, only some original things I came up with.)

Mr. Koushirou retreats to the wall, then speaks.

"This spar will last until either of you gets three hits on your opponent. Do you understand?"

We both nod.

"Are you both ready?"

He glances at both of us before nodding

Ok...he should have some experience over me, but it seems only a few months, given how he had to get in the correct stance multiple times before getting it right.

Usually, normal kids are impatient, and since he's technically my 'senior', he's going to be cocky. He's likely going to rush me and try to finish it quickly.

This may be the first fight that I'm actually fighting in, but I keep calm.

"This is going to be easy! HAAA!" " Said the kid, grinning, and started running towards me.

Like I said.

I stayed in my place and took deep breaths.

I waited until he raised his bokken over his right shoulder.

I sidestepped to my left and raised my bokken.

He misses his attack. I bring my bokken down on his head.

"OOOWW!" He cried out.

He let go of his bokken and grabbed his head.

"Noah gets his first hit!" Koushirou yells out.

Koushirou looks happy with my quick movements and execution.

Weird since he should be more worried about his actual student.

He must be pretty confident that I will win...

"T-that was just luck!" The kid screamed.

He gets his weapon and rushes me again.

He raised his bokken and I side-stepped again, but to the right this time. I also raise my foot in front of his ankles.

He trips and lands on his stomach.

I inhaled and aim for his back.

I exhale.

"Noah gets his second hit!"

Now everyone, minus Kuina, who just scoffs, and Koushirou, who just smiles, are surprised about this turn of events, considering my lack of sword training.

"...I didn't hear a rule forbidding it," I answered.

"He is correct," stated Koushirou.

The kid whined further.

"Whatever! This time, I'll get serious!" He hotly exclaims.

...yeah, whatever you say, little man...

I smirked at him.

That seems to trigger him and he rushes at me with his bokken...again...

...don't you know any other moves...?

He must be expecting me to sidestepped him again, sooo...I'll copy his special move.

I rush at him too.

He was surprised.

With bokken in hand, I thrust my right arm forward, straight into his forehead.

He leaned backward and landed on his back.

"Noah lands his third hit, he's the winner of this match!"

Yep, I that good people.

"Good job Noah-kun. There are some bits and pieces we should work on, but in no time, you should be able to quickly learn the basics of swordsmanship!"

"Thank you, Mr. Koushirou!"

"Hah hah! Remember, it's sensei from now on, Noah."

I grinned.

"Yes! Sensei!"
