Chapter 9: Surprise Attack
the next morning*
Yohan slowly open his eyes and seeing Sigma sleeping he couldn't help but smile
yesterday after eating He started basic training *Saitama Style*
Seeing him Sigma also got interested and join him
at first Sigma can still keep up but after 30 minutes Sigma is too tired to even stand up
seeing this Yohan also stopped training and after cleaning himself and Sigma they both fell asleep.

looking at Sigma who is playing in the water Yohan smiled
if he's alone eating one's a day is enough since gaining the Energy attributes he won't die even if he doesn't eat anything in 3 days
10 minutes later
after they're done washing up they're body
Yohan hugged Sigma and find an unfortunate animal for their breakfast
after running a few minutes they find a rab-
boar eating grass under a tree
the boar is around one meter tall and it's a male boar too
Yohan didn't use his rune and just pick up a stone and throw it hard at the boar

the boar hearing the sound startled and looked back only to see a stone flying towards him
with the sound like a hammer smashing through meat
the stone hit the boar front legs and break it
" but I'm aiming for it's head! "
Yohan disappointed with his accuracy decided to train a little when he have time
looking at the running boar
Yohan started chasing the boar he knows the boar won't go too far
with his speed Yohan didn't take long to see the boar and didn't hesitate to punch the boar head

the boar skull made a cracking sound
the boar trembles a few times
before he died
putting Sigma at the ground Yohan put the boar in his shoulder
" we're going back to the river to clean the edible parts of the boar, so you need to walk this time around Sigma "
not understanding anything Sigma stand there and looked at the back of his master
but seeing him getting farther away he started walking like a human and chase after him
after arriving at the river Yohan started a fire and started cleaning the boar
tired of the journey and with nothing else to do Sigma just play in the water
after cleaning the meat Yohan started cooking them immediately
when the boar meat is cooked Yohan looked at Sigma who stopped playing in the water
Sigma smelling the fragrance of meat hurriedly run towards him
Yohan looking at Sigma who look at the meat then at him shake his head and smile
" you can eat until you're full Sigma "
he picked up a piece for himself and gave the rest to Sigma
Yohan sat in a boulder and eat slowly to taste the boar meat and just watch Sigma happily eating
he looked up in the sky and just enjoy the peace

after they're done eating Yohan looked at Sigma's round belly and smile
Sigma is so full that he can't even sit up
Yohan decided to wait for a few minutes
for Sigma to digest his food
a few minutes later
" ok buddy let's wash your face first, then we'll go meet that snake "
looking at Sigma Yohan decided it's time to move
after cleaning Sigma's face Yohan hug Sigma then started running to the giant snake territory
after running for a few minutes
Yohan arrived at the Snake Territory
it's not hard to find the snake because it's simply to big!
the last time he just looked from afar
this time Yohan decided to go near the Snake
walking slowly towards the snake Yohan hugged Sigma tightly with his left hand and prepared each of his Rune's in his right hand
when he's near the Snake Yohan now really see how big this snake is,
the snake have a green scales all over it's body like an armor

Yohan also noticed the two small horn on top of it's head
" is this snake transforming to become a flood dragon? "
Yohan shake his head and use the Wind Blade Card

then suddenly!
the snake feeling the danger open his eyes
the snake tried to dodge the incoming attack but failed!
" Roar! "
feeling the cut on his neck the snake let out an angry roar!
Yohan didn't expect the Wind Blade to only cut a few inches deep!
he expected the Wind Blade can cut the head of the snake in one hit!
" damn it! and what? is that a dragon roar!!? "
the snake seeing the hairless animal who attacked him is furious!
he wanted to swallow this little thing in his stomach!!!

Yohan didn't hesitate to throw a Fire Ball Rune in the snake mouth

the snake seeing another thing flying towards him,use his talent as a snake to closed his mouth and evaded the Fire Ball!
unfortunately-

the snake body didn't manage to evade and got hit by the Fireball
Yohan looked at where the Fireball exploded and was astonished on what he sees!

the Fireball didn't manage to damage the snake!
it only burnt the snake scales!
Feeling the pain the snake is furious!
' If I can't swallow you then I will turn you into a meat pulp! '

coming back to his senses Yohan looked at the attacking Snake
" trying to swallow me again!? this time I won't miss! "
Preparing a Fireball Rune Yohan concentrate on the mouth of the snake!
" Now! "

throwing the Rune Yohan was sure it will hit the snake!

the world started to slow down
looking at his left side Yohan looked at the snake tail coming towards him
thinking of a solution to get out of the attack of the snake tail

Yohan, can't think anything.

Protecting Sigma in his chest Yohan used his only hope

then everything went back to normal
