Chapter 7: Revenge

2 days later*

" .... "

looking at the dust on the floor, I can't help but feel disappointed

Other than adjusting to my strength I also tried to make a Mid Rune on a stone but,

half way through the process it immediately become dust

" I need to find a material that can withstand the power of Rune "

" but the problem is, where can I find one? "

shaking my head I decided to think about this matter later

Going out of my cave and feeling the sunlight on my skin

I started running South

" it's time to visit those puppies "

smirking to my self I started to run faster

Finding those puppies are not hard

after a few minutes of running I find them hunting a boar

the boar is 3 meters tall and have a very sharp tusks and tough hides

preparing my Rune's and waiting for an opportunity I watch how they hunt the boar

using they're number advantage and dexterity in the forest and they started to play with the boar

yes play with it, looking at the group of wolves

there are one big wolf around 3 meters in height, 9 medium wolves around 2 meters,

and five small wolves around 1 meter in height.

as if showing the little wolves how to hunt

the medium wolves started to show they're hunting skills

a few minutes later

the biggest wolf or the alpha wolf started to get bored and decided to move

the alpha stand up then...

'woooshh'

the alpha didn't hide he just run straight to the boar

the boar seeing the alpha running straight to it

it didn't back down

like an angry bull and gathering it's strength to it's legs it also run straight to the alpha wolf!

when they are not far apart from each other

the alpha using it's agility suddenly side stepped and bite the neck of the boar!

feeling the pain in its neck the boar tried to break free

but the wolf didn't give it a chance using it's weight it dragged the the boar to the ground and didn't let go of its neck

the boar still struggle under the fangs of the alpha wolf but failed

a few minutes later when the boar died the wolf started eating it's legs

Yohan seeing the alpha wolf distracted didn't let go of the chance and throws a Fire Ball Rune at it

'woooshh'

the card fly in the air and transform into a miniature sun

Yohan didn't need to look at the results

because of the property of the Cards he knows he won't miss so after throwing the card he hides behind a tree and watch the show

the alpha wolf startled by the Fire Ball coming towards him, didn't think twice and jump

but, he miscalculated

'BOOM!'

the Fire Ball exploded and the alpha wolf got thrown by the impact and half of it's body is badly burn

looking at the destruction the Fire Ball caused the other wolves trembles in fear

but one of the biggest medium wolf looking at the other wolves at contempt started walking towards the alpha wolf,

getting near him and seeing it's injuries

the wolf smiled with bad intentions

and suddenly the medium wolf bite the alpha wolf neck!

surprised by the sudden turn of events the alpha wolf stared at one of his brothers

staring at the bloodshot and exited eyes of his brother

he remembers the time when they are hunting together and teaching him the hunting skills he learned

his brother will always follow him when hunting and will challenge him for the alpha position but always failed

feeling the end of it's life the alpha wolf tried to howl to release it's sadness but failed

all he can release are whimpers and tears

a few seconds later the alpha wolf of the unknown island died at the fangs of one of his brothers

Yohan looked at the eyes of the arrogant wolf

and can't help but clench his fist

* that's the puppy bastard! *

looking at the arrogant wolf and

remembering those eyes pissed him off

Getting a Fire Ball Rune Yohan wait for an opportunity to strike

the medium wolf but now the 'alpha'

looked at the trembling wolves and sit proudly and arrogantly at the corpse of the alpha wolf

but it's happiness is short lived

when suddenly!

'woooshh'

a card travel in the wind and transform into a Fire Ball mid air aiming at the arrogant wolf

because the now 'alpha' is drunk with it's 'success killing the alpha wolf' he didn't notice Fire Ball until it's in front of him

'BOOM!'

the other wolves scared of the unknown attacker didn't even looked at the new 'alpha'

and run for their lives

after the smoke and dust settle down

Yohan go out of his hiding spot and walked through the black pit of half a meter but didn't see the corpse of the wolves

" Now we're even "

walking through the path the other puppies scape from Yohan followed their trails and arrived at a hill with a cave in the middle

looking at the pack of wolves inside and the playing little wolves

Yohan picked a Fire Ball Rune and didn't hesitate to throw it in the Wolf Cave

'woooshh'

Yohan watched the card transform into A fist sized Fire Ball mid air and travel into the Wolf Cave

'BOOM!'

the ground shook and the hill started to shake

Yohan picked another Fire Ball Rune and throw it

'woooshh'

'BOOM!'

this time the hill started to fall apart

Yohan watched as The Wolf Cave got buried by the rock and soil

taking one last look at the destroyed hill

Yohan decided to leave

walking back to the corpse of the boar Yohan started to slicing it's edible parts using the stone knife he made

" Phew! luckily no other animals eat this boar or I won't have anything to eat tonight! "

he happily slice the juicy part of the boar

But Yohan didn't know that because of the noise cause by the Fire Ball Rune

other animals got scared to get out of their nest

even the gigantic snake and the bear wake up from their sleep

looking up and noticing the darkening sky Yohan started running with the meat to his cave

a few minutes later after arriving at my cave I starting a fire to cook the meat

looking at the oily and juicy meat

I waited for it to cook

sitting in the cold floor

I started thinking about my plans tomorrow

" since Soul is the limit and I already achieve my limit I guess I need to level up "

Looking at my status panel nothing changed other than the Energy that increase from 20 to 27

"as I expected killing can accelerate my growth "

* but there is only two overlord in this island *

" then let me visit that bear tomorrow "

shacking my head and

throwing the matter to the back of my head

looking at the meat on the fire

I smell the fragrance of meat

and noticed it has been cooked perfectly

" Let's Eat! "
