3 Ragnakor

Floating through the void, my body shivered at the voice this unidentified voice that was questioning.

The creature had asked why I smelled like Rocks D Xebec, the man my gifts were modeled after. Probably because I have inherited his will, making my presence and my so called "smell" like the man as well.

" That's flattering you compare me to such a man. Would you perhaps identify yourself to me", I exclaimed at the creature, wanting to know more about who I'm dealing with

Out of nowhere, the empty space twisted and materialized, gaining colors, forming shapes, making something i wasn't prepared for.

What was now in front of me was a monster only found in nightmares. It was a Titan, who cowered over me immensely, dwarfing everything. He had to be at least 90 km tall! He has to be the tallest thing in this world!

Its face, if discernible, reflects a fusion of power and menace. Its eyes, glowing with an otherworldly light, pierce through the darkness, giving off an unsettling luminescence. The facial features may be chiseled and angular, displaying an ancient wisdom and an indomitable will.

It had horns protruding from the top of it's face, so thick, that they were nature's skyscrapers, defying gravity with their weight and sheer magnificence, making the strongest of bulls tremble in envy.

What was standing in front of me was a Titan Of Diaster, it's intimidating presence could make almost anyone cower in fear.

"I am Ragnakor, and I'm the greatest Titan to ever live. You interrupted my slumber when you grabbed Calamity.", the titan proclaimed to me.

So it was the sword who brought me here? This is the creature the gift pack told me was in Calamity. It's definitely from the Void Century all right. That thing is humongous.

"Where are we? Are we in a realm trapped inside the sword. I have been told Calamity holds a great beast", I said to the mythical giant. One Piece does have some mythological elements, but they don't really make it a main focus.

"Right on the Beli, kid! But you still haven't answered my question, kid. Why do you smell like Rocks. Are you perhaps, his secret love child?", The beast said to me.

I chuckled at the idea of being his child.Being Rock's child would be my worst nightmare. The marines would hunt you down and execute just so that the off chance of me becoming like him doesn't happen.

Should I just tell him about the gift pack? I mean, it's not like he'll do anything with the information. He's stuck in this sword for what I assume forever.

" No, I am no child of Rocks. Instead, I have inherited his will through some supernatrual means. Along with that, I have inherited the Yami Yami No Mi, his past devil fruit.Calamity, his former sword. And I have also inherited his old ship, the Sovereign Of Many.

Ragnakor bellowed with laughter that wounded my ears as he heard what I said. Apparenly, he seems to find something funny with my answer.

" It seems like Rocks got a fanboy! You're quite the imitator, aren't you kid? What's your name", Ragnakor said between his fits of laughter. My brow furrowed, mad at his insults towards me.

But then, I thought about his question at the end? My name is a pretty sensitive topic for me. I have always considered it "Dumb" and "Weird". Everyone else said that too. Ny name was Bibby.

" I don't like my name. I always thought of it as dumb", I professed to the beast in front of me.

Ragnakor perked up at this before speaking." If you don't like your name, why not just get a new one? I'll give you one right now".

A new name? You know what, I actually like that idea! You know what they say. New world, new me!

"It is the name of my father. He was a valiant titan and overall a great warrior. He tragically dies in a battle between a kingdom, one of the soon to be 20 kingdoms", Ragnakor continued.

"His name was Augustus. Since you have inherited Xebec's will, you will be Rocks D Augustus", Ragnakor said.

What a powerful name. I guess this is it, I'm fully embracing the new change of mine. I have gone from Bibby to Augustus, truly a welcome change. I remember reading about the meaning of names. Augustus means " Magnificent", "The Increaser", or "Venerable"

"I'll happily accept that name, Ragnakor", I responded to the man." Can you transport me out of here by any chance".

" Just because you inherited his will, doesn't mean you earned my respect", Ragnakor added before waving his hands.

The space in front folded onto me, completley erasing me from this mysterious plane of existence.

My eyes widened instantly in a sense of relief. I was back to where I was, with my hand on the hilt of Calamity.

I lifted Calamity up from the sand, holding it up to the sun. It has been a crazy day. I won't let it go to waste.

My eyes drifted to the forest. I'm going to have to head in sooner or later if I wanted some food beside fish from the sea.

It's going to be hard for me. With the Yami Yami No Mi, I'll take 2x the pain of every attack I take. At least it will build up my endurance.

I guess that's the plan. I'll venture into the forest, gain some battle experience, and learn how to use my fruit and my sword. I'll do it until I feel like I can leave the island.
