One Piece: Rise of the Reincarnator

Is death truly the end? A question humans have been asking for centuries. Apparently, after death you’re shoved into the One Piece verse 10 years before Luffy sets out on his pirate king journey. Neat huh? A new life in a new world, how hard could it be? I’d grow to greatly regret these words. --------- Hello readers! I’m not an expert at writing, so if the grammar could be improved or if something I wrote doesn’t make sense let me know; constructive criticism is welcomed! Anyway, I started writing this for fun but I'll try to upload more chapters weekly. No promises as school takes up most of my time, but one chapter a day is guaranteed (unless some situation happens).

(11) 6 Months Later!

A white-haired youth could be seen sitting on top of a bunch of beast corpses.

The youth of course being Avery! System, these so called "powerful beasts" are too weak now!

[No Host, you've just become a little too strong for these beasts]

Oh, is that a compliment? That's new.

[I wouldn't lie to my dear Host]

Hmm? I think I heard some sarcasm?

[No Host]

Well, you weren't lying when you said that I was strong though. Over the course of these six months, I was able to bring Busoshoku, Kenbunshoku, and Haoshoku haki all up to the Master rank.

My Busoshuku haki now had a hue of blue in it as well. It didn't really mean anything, but it just made me feel really bad ass. I estimated that my current strength was around the same level as post-time skip Luffy, I was proud of myself for becoming this strong in such a short amount of time.

I wasn't a one-man army though, no matter how strong I get if there is a good number of marines at the Captain level and at least two or three at the Admiral level, than I was as good as dead.

Which brings me to my current main priority and goal, making a crew! It was about time to recruit Kuina and really begin my journey as a pirate anyway. System, exit the virtual reality!

I already know who I want on my crew really, the person I'd recruit after Kuina would most definitely be Law. Why? Law is undoubtedly one of the best doctors, if not the best doctor in the One Piece World.

Law is currently seventeen years old, a year older than me. It'll be hard to get him to join the crew of someone younger than him as he's a bit stubborn, no matter I'll leave those problems for the future!

I opened the [𝚀𝚞𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚜] tab and out of boredom, scrolled down on the Extremely Hard difficulty.

[QUEST: Kill Akainu! Rewards: Ability to purchase Magu Magu No Mi, Threat to World Government increases by a large margin, and respect of the entire One Piece Fandom!]

*Insert italian accent*

He's first on my hit list don't worry, hehehe!

I scrolled down some more and found a quest that caught my eye.

[QUEST: Kill Jimei! Rewards: Fishman Karate, and hate of the entire One Piece Fandom!]

Umm, System is there a quest for befriending Jimbei instead?

[Yes, there is. Its under the Difficult section]

Thanks system! I changed tabs and found the befriend Jimbei quest rather fast.

[QUEST: Befriend Jimbei! Rewards: Fishman Karate teacher, Potential crew member!]

That's a pretty good quest, if I do say so myself. Fishman Karate is a pretty good fighting style too, sorry Luffy I might have to steal a future crew member from you. It should be fine though right, as Jimbei only joins during the Wano arc and that's like twelve years from now.

Hey, at least I didn't recruit Zoro right? If I take too many of Luffy's crew than it might affect the main plot, well the future actions I'll take is going to affect the storyline anyway but that's beside the point!

Anyway, my condolences Luffy. Now that I think about it, wouldn't Fishman Karate and Aoki's future Devil fruit be really compatible with each other? It's decided Aoki's going to learn Fishman Karate.

Let's stay in the present though, it's about time I finally set out from this village. I'll miss it though, I got up from my bed and walked downstairs, finding Mr. Koushirou and Kuina chatting in the kitchen.

"Avery, it's rare for you to wake up this late. Anything happen?" Mr. Koushirou said as he watched me walk down the stairs.

Hah, how do I tell him that I've been lying to him for the past ten months about wanting to join the Marines. I'd feel like a douche if I came up with another lie, he even threw me a surprise birthday party; I'll just give it to him straight.

"Umm, Mr. Koushirou I-I lied about wanting to become a marine. I-I actually want to become a pirate." I said nervously, my eyes closed; not being able to bare the expression he probably had in his face right now.

I opened my eyes after a good, ten seconds. Mr. Koushirou had a knowing smile on his face which made me confused.

"Wait, don't tell me you knew this entire time." I asked in disbelief.

"Avery, Do you think I'm stupid? A child who said they wanted to become a great pirate through there entire adolescence, suddenly changes there mind and decides to become a marine. Now digest that for a minute; does that even sound a tad bit believable?"

"Hah, even I wouldn't believe that." I sighed, I don't even know what I was thinking when I told him that.

"It's alright, I knew this day would come. I just hope you become a pirate like Roger, or Newgate. Not like Xebec or Kaido, but knowing your personality that'd never happen." He said as he laughed.

I smiled at that, I won't only become like them. I'll surpass them, if I don't with all the information and power at my disposal than I'm just pure trash; hahaha.

Now for the hardest part; letting Kuina join the crew, if he's right in the head he most definitely won't let his little girl become a pirate.

"So, Mr. Koushirou. Umm, you won't mind if we just recruit Kuina into the crew?" I said nervously.

"Avery…"

"Y-yes?"

"Are you crazy?!"
