3 Months Later

As Ulrick lived in the Oykot Kingdom time quickly passed and Ulrick had put his plans to acquire a decent backer into full motion. Ulrick knows that attempting to work for a man like Alexander Simoni would associate him with words such as unlawful, evil, corrupt, and scum of the earth. Which are all things an upstanding citizen like Ulrick would try to avoid in society. But Ulrick isn't blind or stupid enough to not see that his options in the world of one piece to form allies with are severely limited.

He has no choice but to associate himself with one criminal organization or another just to have a decent living. As for why that is it's because the world government is doing a shit job running the place. At least 10% of the world's population sets out to become pirates which is an absolutely ridiculous number. The economy in one piece is so bad that millions of people view piracy as one of the only decent job prospects. This is displayed clearly in places like Luffy's village where the villagers fully support children's dreams to become pirates without even trying to convince them otherwise because everyone knows that there's no future for people like them. If people like Luffy stay on an island then they are stuck there for life working a dead end job in a small village that most people don't even know the name of.

Ulrick didn't want to wind up like most people in dead and forgotten in the sea being shat out of a fish's ass. He had a chance to make a name for himself and becoming Alexander Simoni's underline was the start of how he was going to do it.

As for how Ulrick was going to work for Alexander that was simple because he was going to make Alexander come to him. Ulrick knows that you just can't walk up to a guy like Alexander and as for a job. He knows no one in that organization meaning he has no one to vouch for him which would most likely end up with Ulrick being shot in the head if he tries. Ulrick also not wanting to take the roundabout way of becoming friends with someone in that organization lead to Ulrick opting to let his work speak for itself.

A modern man like Ulrick while capable of admiring the relics of the past can't help but feel unsatisfied and a bit disgust when using this world's weaponry. Ulrick being the crafty and resourceful man that he is decided to rectify that by bringing a higher standard of weaponry into this world.

During Ulrick's daily escapades he has robbed over 20 million berries ($200,000 U.S). His daily rounds have been caught wind of by the town citizens. This lead to more people being cautious on the streets and the navy which is this world's closest thing to police officers increasing their patrols around town. Ulrick cared about none of that and still robbed everyone just as easily.

The money Ulrick acquire wasn't used by him to upgrade his mods instead he used it to start up his business. For Ulrick creating his store was honestly exceedingly easy this world's way of handling documents and license is somewhat flawed. Ulrick didn't even need to do much all he needed to do was buy a seller's permit from the city and then buy a special permit for weapon distribution. Of which they only checked a few things like if he was a wanted criminal and his residency in the city. After a week of waiting he received everything and was free to open up his shop and sell whatever.

The shop Ulrick purchased was an old one that was going out of business. Ulrick didn't bother trying to get a shop in one of the nicer districts his shop was located near the shadier side of town where pirates and other criminals tend to gather. It took a month of renovating but Ulrick eventually got the shop looking how he wanted.

Ulrick shop looked like a high end jewelry store. Glass cabinets lined the room filled to the brim with unique guns that people in the one piece world have never seen. There were Glocks, Uzis, M16s, M14s, P90s and so much more. On the walls were marvelous custom made swords and daggers that any true fan of good literature would recognize as weaponry from some of the most badass anime characters in the world. There was Meliodas's sacred treasure lostvayne, Ichigo Kurosaki's Zangetsu, the buster blade from final fantasy seven, Rurouni Kenshin's reverse blade sword from samurai x, and much more.

As for how Ulrick managed to build all those weapons you must first understand that in Ulrick's past life he was a software and mechanical engineer. Unable to satisfy his creative desire and want to build something extraordinary Ulrick job hopped around a lot. He's built cars, boats, planes, automation factories, guns, dames, rockets for NASA, and even worked as head of construction for a nuclear power plant. Ulrick has worked all over in all sorts of fields not out of dissatisfaction but because he loves what he does. He considers building a sacred art and one that he plants on mastering. Despite his skill set Ulrick doesn't consider himself a master of anything because there is still so much for him to learn and build.

To clarify how Ulrick built everything so quickly it's because of his system. Ulrick's system has a section in it called foundry of which he unlocked when his rank rose to 2. The foundry allows for quick automated building of any Item that Ulrick specifies. With the right materials and a workable blueprint, practically anything can be created. Ulrick can create his own blueprints but that's only because he knows what he's doing if someone that doesn't know the inner workings of a firearm tried to do the same thing they would just get a lump of iron.

Ulrick currently can not create any of the equipment from warframe because he is missing the materials to do so. The guns and swords that Ulrick designed already only used common materials like iron, copper, steel, zink ... Ect. Those things were nothing fantasy and incredibly easy to get. However, to build the weapons from warframe requires materials like gallium, neurodes, morphics, plastids, oxium, ferrite, rubedo, nano spores, and a lot more. All of which don't exist in one piece but can be synthesized by using similar materials that exist in the world. Ulrick acquired a blueprint for most of the required materials in the warframe franchise.

Though Ulrick managed to create a bunch of amazing guns from his old world he wasn't overly excited about using them because when compared to the weapons from warframe the weapons from Earth were inferior in every way. When Ulrick acquires a blueprint that information is transferred to his mind. He can recall every bit of it by heart and it is from that information that Ulrick realized how flawed all the weapons Ulrick is trying to sell truly are.

Ulrick never tested it out before because he only had a few mods and because it never crossed his mind to do so before but apparently weapon quality is a factor in how many mods can be equipped. In the game, every gun can be equipped with 8 mods, every melee weapon 8 mods plus 1 stance mod. In comparison, every gun in Ulricks shop despite being the same designs from earth can only be equipped with 3 mods. For every sword that he made it was the same 3 mods plus 1 stance mod. Any more than that then the weapon will break down.

The difference was clear but Ulrick wasn't discouraged he could wait. He knew that he had time to wait because he did his research and found out that he was at least 5 years away from cannon. Not worried about the constraints of time Ulrick combed his hair back adjusted his black and white tuxedo and got ready to greet his customers.
