A New Beginning Part 2

As Ulrick walked around he wondered what he was going to do what his life. He was actually in the world of one piece while dangerous it was still many peoples dreams to live here and he would be lying if he said that he didn't dream about it himself a couple hundred times.

Ulrick always thought that he would be a pirate if he ever got the chance to live in one piece. But after actually being here and experiencing what pirates were like first hand Ulrick thoughts changed and wondered if that was smart at all. Most pirates arn't like luffy's crew who are all basically rogue heros that don't do a shred of pirating. Luffy's entire crew don't even deserve to be called pirates because there more on the line of an adventure group.

Ulrick dreamed about meeting his favorite characters on the crew and maybe joining them on an adventure but reality showed him otherwise. If Ulrick does something like join Luffy's crew he will be plunged head first into danger by an idiotic captain that relies mostly on luck and the fact that no one can remember that the guy is made out of rubber so they only use normal bullets Instead of sea stone ones.

As for the rest of the pirates most of them are just as dumb as Luffy. Even with all the gold and treasure they get almost none of them do anything smart with it. Like using it to ensure their future as wealthy nobleman on some island. Instead they use it all on food, alcohol, gambling, prostitutes, and other miscellaneous crap.

As Ulrick thought about it every option be it joining the navy, the revaluation army, the world government, or teaming up with a yanko sucked balls.

Frustrated by what he was going to do Ulrick kicked a rock and said, " fuck it I just got here why the fuck do I have to go on an epic quest anyway. This is the east blue nothing overly dangerous happens around here anyway. I can spend the rest of my life on any random island and still be ok. For now i'm just going to heal up then find the closest brothel in this area. 80% of woman in this world are basically all models with the ugliest being a 7/10, so I might as well sample the local cuisine.

Ulrick wasn't sure what to do with his life at the moment but that problem was overshadowed by the dozens of glowing objects in his view all if different colors ranging from copper-brown, silver and gold. Ulrick's uncontrollable energy killed a lot of people now it was time for him to reap the benefits.

In an area a bit of a distance away from the wrecked town somewhat overlooking a cliff Ulrick finished burying the first person that he could probably call his friend in this world, Manroe. They didn't know each other long but they fought together side by side in arms so it was enough for Ulrick to treat him as his brother. Ulrick didn't know much and did have much to decorate Manroe's grave so he used what he thought Manroe's would like. Ulrick used Manroe's burnt bar sign as the tomb stone and a bottle of wisky he found as an offering. It wasn't much but it was better than nothing.

After that was all done Ulrick looked through all the items that he acquired. In his load out Ulrick saw this.

(There are to many mods, weapon, and tools to properly list so i'll list a few important and non important ones that he will be seen using in future chapters. All these weapons have weird names i may misspell I may not who knows auto correct wont help).

Heavy Impact: Create seismic shockwaves from heavy landings to knock foes off their feet. Uncommon

Intruder: increase stealth ability, gives user hacking knowledge, and knowledge on how to disarm traps. ( author altered this)

Marathon: Increases the total amount of your base stamina. Common

Master Thief: increase stealth ability, gives users thievery skills such as pickpocketing. (author altered this)

( Author note: I try but they're simply way too many things to list. I didn't even get to finish listening out everything before I got burnt out. For now I'm only going to talk about things when they become relevant).

While looking through everything Ulrick noticed that his rank increase by 2. He wondered how he did it and focused on that section only for a pop up notice to tell him. Ulrick was supprised to find out that the reason he ranked up was because he overcame a difficult challenge. As a reward for his efforts he received an increase drop rate, the chance for more frame blueprints to drop including weapons and mods. Meaning if Ulrick ever wants better gear and more frames to use he has to face and overcome a major challenge that only gets harder as he ranks up.

Amongst all the weapons and mods Ulrick also picked up a bunch of blueprint pieces for different warframes of which he only received a complete set for 1 frame which was Ash. Ash in short is a warframe geared towards assassination. Its fast, has high burst damage, can teleport, and turn invisible. Even after years of use Ash has always remained a fan favorite because even during late game Ash could still wreck even the toughest mobs.

Ulrick reminisced about his characters in game and wondered just how their abilities would transfer to real life. Ulrick wanted to see it with his own eyes a real warframe but to do any of that Ulrick had to overcome 2 major problems. The first was money Ulrick looked through all the cards and noticed a trend. To upgrade 1 bronze card cost 3 million barry,to upgrade a silver costs 15 million, to upgrade a gold card costs 30 million.

The upgrade costs pilled up quick even if someone gave Ulrick a billion barry he wouldn't be able to upgrade all the cards that he wants. The prices were absurd to Ulrick since the prices of the cards were dependent on card rarity not quality for some reason. Their were a couple of bronze cards that were way more useful than any silver or gold cards yet he could easily upgrade like the forever useful vitality mod that just makes you a tank easily. Not to mention the fact that gold quality wasn't even the best kind of mods there were still primed mods and rivens that can make even the shittiest weapon god tier.

The other problem Ulrick had was resources. To build any of the weapon or frames Ulrick needed the proper materials. Ulrick also received a bunch of blueprints related to the materials he needed to craft but the question remained who was he going to get those materials from. Ulrick had a lot to think about for the next couple of days but at least he found a purpose for the time being.
