Chapter 46: Encounter with an admiral
"Land!" Screamed Chopper, who was at the viewing post.
Soon after, they arrived at the next island. It was a very simple-looking island with tall trees and vast plains.
"There is nothing here!"
"So big and empty, It's an endless plain!" Luffy said with amazement.
"It's plain alright… there is nothing to see here." Commented Sanji.
"I wonder if it's inhabited." Said Robin.
Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp, like usual, jumped into the island and started to explore.
"Wait!, we don't know anything about this island!" Nami tried to warn.
"It should be fine, Nami. There doesn't seem to be any dangers here." Added Vivi.

A while later, the trio came back with an old man that introduced himself as Tonjit.
The old man explained to them how He lost track of the rest of his nomadic village as they moved to a different part of the island.
"Why don't we take you to your people on our ship?" Suggested Nami.
"No, those ten islands are actually part of the same one so the log pose would not help there." Said Usopp.
"It's no problem, I'm an easygoing guy. There is no hurry." Tonjit brushed off their worries.
He then escorted the crew to his home.
"Since your friends are all here, why don't I treat you all with something nice?" He told Luffy.
As soon as Tonjit went to enter his house, He stumbled upon someone very tall who was trying to leave.
"Who is that?" Asked Luffy.
"Was He here the whole time?" Wondered Nami.
"Who the heck are you all?" The man asked.
"We should be the ones saying that!" Yelled Usopp.
Vivi's body tensed the moment she saw him. She could not help it. This was a man that could easily kill her and the entire crew if He wanted.
Robin on the other hand looked absolutely terrified. She gave a short scream and fell down on her but.
The crew noticed her reaction and got immediately on guard.
"Robin?" Luffy looked at her.
"Robin, what's wrong?" Asked Sanji.
"Ararara…look who we have here. It's been a long time, Nico Robin."
"Do you know this guy, Robin?" Asked Luffy.
"That's Marine Admiral Kuzan, also known as Aokiji. " Vivi was the one who answered.
Aokiji's eyes turned to her.
"An Admiral?!" Sanji exclaimed in horror.
"So, you were with the Strawhats all along, Princess Vivi. You have been declared missing and there were some reports of people who had spotted someone with your description in their ship."
Aokiji sighed and scratched his head.
"What a pain…but you still don't have a bounty on your head, is not too late to leave. I can send you back to Arabasta." The Admiral offered.
"I appreciate the offer Mister Admiral, but I am no longer a Royal Princess. I lost my title and everything associated with the crown of Arabasta before leaving. I'm a Strawhat pirate now. As for a bounty...I'm sure I will get one soon enough." Was Vivi's answer.
"Did you come here to arrest us?!" Asked Usopp.
Aokiji shrugged.
"I suppose I should appreciate not having extra work…" He turned to look at Nami.
"What do we have here? another sexy lady. Are you free tonight?" He asked Nami.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?!" An enraged Sanji yelled.
"Hey, don't ignore my question!" Complained Usopp.
Aokiji rose his hands in a placating manner.
"Calm down. I'm just here for a walk, no need for soo much hostility."
"What I'm trying to say is…oh…I forgot…"
"You are not making any sense!" Cried Sanji.
"Is He really an Admiral?" Wondered Usopp.
"Don't be deceived by his easygoing attitude, this man is really dangerous." Warned Robin.
Aokiji gave her a look.
"I suppose you would know better than most."
"Well, my legs are still tired." He lay down on the grass.
"Anyways, I don't intent to arrest you, so…chill. I'm only here to confirm the whereabouts of Nico Robin after the events on Arabasta. I figured that she would be with you guys."
"You are not really here to pick a fight with us?" Sanji was finding it hard to believe him.
"I'm only going to report my discovery so they recalculate the bounty of the group. With 79 more million it would be…ugg, I'm too tired to count…"
"What a lazy guy…" Said Zoro.
"Oh…by the way, I heard something while I was napping. You" Aokiji pointed at Tonjit.
"Pack up your things and get ready to move."
"Don't listen to him!, He is a marine!" Luffy warned the old man.
Tonjit was confused. "Why shouldn't I listen to a marine?"
Luffy then made an 'oh... that's right' expression. "Right... you are not a pirate, you can listen to him I guess" He chuckled.
"This is no time for jokes, Luffy!" Usopp smacked his head.
"Basically, you want to catch up with the people that moved while you were stuck here, right? You plan to rush for the third island after this one, and then you have to wait until the low tide to cross again."
"Yes, but is not possible to cross right now." Said the old man.
"It's fine, get your things ready."

After Tonjit finished his preparations, they all went to the shore that pointed in the direction of the next island.
Aokiji knelt down next to the water but then a Sea King came out and went to attack him.
"Oi!, be careful!" Warned Luffy.
"Ice Age" As soon as Aokiji said those words, everything in front of him froze. All of the water and even the Sea King.
"What?!" They all exclaimed in shock at seeing the display of power.
