Chapter 288: Germa 66

Three days later.

"I'm starving…" Nami collapsed on the chair.

"I can't believe Luffy was able to eat everything we had on the ship plus all the food given by the mink. When did he even make time to sneak in here…" Vivi wondered.

"Why did no one check the pantry cabinet before we left?." Nami huffed before collapsing again.

"Sanji always did that," Vivi reminded her.

"Is not going to kill you not to eat for a few days. And there is plenty to drink at least" Zoro poured himself another glass of rum.

"There is lots of cola too!" Franky grinned.

"That's just because our Captain cares a lot more for food than drinks, otherwise you could the sure there would be nothing left." Said Vivi.

"Just hang on a bit more, Nami. I'm sure that fat bastard island is filled to the brim with food."

"Aren't you hungry too?" Franky asked.

"No…as long as I have access to plenty of water, I have no issues."

"You are like a plant." Zoro chuckled at his own comment.

"And yet, It is you the one people call Moss Head," Vivi commented.

"What people?, is just the shitty cook who calls me that," Zoro grumbled.

"Maybe I should start referring to you as such. So you don't get lonely, Moss's head. " Vivi gave him a complacent grin.

"Maybe I should call you shitty princess then."

"Would you two stop bickering…oh, look!. Is snowing!" Nami shouted.

The sky had been dark for a while but just now, snow started to fall.

" I must be losing my mind because this snow tastes very good." Nami stuck her tongue out, allowing more snow to fall on top.

"You are not crazy, this taste is very sweet!" Frankly said.

"This is not snow…is cotton candy. We must be getting close to the island." She warned.

"Ring, ring, ring." the den-den-mushi started to make noises.

"Is someone going to get that?" Asked Zoro.

"No!, I don't think that we are going to receive a warm welcome in this place. Best not to announce our arrival." Said Nami.

"Remember what we discussed before." Added Vivi.

"Because there is something big approaching."

"Already?, how did they detect our arrival so fast?" Franky wanted to know.

"Remain calm and go to your posts. Let me do the talking." Nami comanded.

"Germa speaking…" A mechanical voice could be heard.

"Confirmed sighting of the Strawhat crew."

"Germa?, who are those? Could they be part of the Big Mom crew?" Asked Zoro.

"We are in her territory so they can't be unrelated." Answered Nami.

The other ship soon came into view. 

"What is that thing?!, is that really a ship?." Franky has seen and built many blizzard vessels in his life. But this one definitely made it to the top on the scale of weirdness.

The ship had the shape of a snail's shell but it was completely made of wood. Then, a real, living snail was pulling the entire thing around the ocean. 

The colossal snail alone was easily five times the size of the Sunny and had the number 66 engraved on its forehead.

If that was not weird enough… there was an entire medieval castle, with towers and everything, built on top of the snail's artificial shell.

"Why does everyone have a larger ship than ours?" Asked Vivi.

"Vivi, this is not the moment for this." Nami rolled her eyes.

"Why have you come here, Strawhats?!" a loud voice came from a speaker.

"Hey, don't be like that. I made the ship as big as I could. And size is not everything that matters here." Franky got a bit defensive there.

"No, she has a point. For once, I would like to be on the bigger ship." Said Zoro.

"I demand that you Answer the question, Strawhats!" the voice got louder and angrier.

"I know, right?. It would be nice to be the one that gets to look down on them, like…that right!, you better break your necks looking up if you want to address me, plebeians!" Vivi proclaimed.

"Where did that come from? I mean…plebeians?" Nami raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't mean it like that, Nami." Vivi scratched her head.

"Enough of this foolery!. Answer my question before my patience and out!" They spotted someone coming out of a balcony. 

"Is that the shitty cook?" Asked Zoro.

"Sanj!, get back here!...and bring some food." Exclaimed Nami.

"We found him already? Well, that was quick, and a bit underwhelming to be honest." Said Franky.

"Is not Sanji…come on guys, why am I the only one who uses observation haki regularly?. Do you not understand how useful that is?" Vivi had a hard time understanding her friends sometimes.

"You got the wrong guy…thought I don't blame you for the mistake."

The man removed his dark cloak, revealing himself.

His face was very similar to Sanjis up to the spiral eyebrows. The main difference is his hair and clothes, compared to what Sanji would usually wear. This man seemed to be using some combat suit.

"My name is Yonji Vinsmoke, from Germa 66."

"Yonji?" Zoro said.

"He looks so much alike." Said Nami.

"Whoa!" Yonji leaned forward on the balcony.

"Look at those two babes!"

"Yeah….those two are definitely related." Said Vivi.

Yonji quickly turned around.

"Come on, we ar-"

"Wait, brother." She interrupted him.

 "I have yet to see them, Sanji's friends." A female voice was heard.

"You are not in command here!, you will-".

Before Yonji could finish his sentence, he was kicked in the back of the head and sent flying into the sea.

The owner of the female voice approached the balcony so they could see her.

"Greetings, I am Vinsmoke Reige."

"Wow…female Sanji is looking good…" Vivi commented.
