Chapter 25: Vivi vs Bellamy part 2

"Strawhat?, you are with those two idiots I met at the bar?" Bellamy seemed shocked by that.

"Bah!, it doesn't matter. I'm going to kill you first and then I will find your crew. Rivers!, stay back."

"Wait, Captain. There is something weird with her body!" Rivers tried to warn.

Bellamys was too enraged to listen. He placed both his fist on the ground and turned his legs into springs, preparing himself for the assault. Unfortunately for him, there weren't many surfaces to jump into since Montblanc house was the only building in the area.

Bellamy jumped to one of the house walls and bounced at great speed toward Vivi with his fists out.

She didn't move and waited for her opportunity. There was no point in trying to dodge him since she wasn't that fast. Besides, she has no need to avoid his attacks, she has already accomplished the most important part with was preventing Bellamy from learning her abilities. Otherwise, He may have escaped and called Doflamingo. She cannot allow that to happen.

Vivid dropped her knife to the ground. She would be unable to transform her hands if she was holding something.

There was another technique that she has been practicing for the last few days, but it was something she didn't want to try on her friends.

When Bellamy was about to reach her, she extended her right hand while aiming at his head.

"Vivi!!" Montblanc yelled and started to run towards her in a vain attempt to help.

Bellamy's fist made contact with her torso and passed thought with no resistance, making him crash hard on the ground.

"Captain!" Rivers cried with worry.

Montblanc stopped suddenly, not believing what He has just seen. Bellamys attack went through Vivi's body but she didn't seem to be hurt.

Masira and Shoujou stopped next to him but they were less surprised since they have already seen Vivi survive being chopped in half by a giant kukri.

"What is going on? is that a devil fruit?" Montblanc said in a whisper.

"Uh?, what's wrong with that guy?, He seems to have trouble standing." Shoujou pointed out.

They were so shocked by Vivi that they almost forgot about Bellamy, who had landed some distance away after his attack failed. It didn't seem like He go that hurt by the fall but now He is having trouble standing up.

"Why is He grabbing his head?." Asked Masira.

"Wait!, there is something on his head." Montblanc squinted his eyes but it was difficult to see in the dark.

Vivi was focused solely on Bellamy, not taking her eyes off him for fear of her technique failing.

Bellamy managed to stand up and started to walk back in the direction of the house where everyone was with a lot of difficulties.

Once He had taken quite a few steps, the light of the moon illuminated his head quite clearly and everyone was able to see what was happening to him.

Bellamy's head was completely covered by a sphere of water that was obviously preventing him from breathing. He keep using his hands to try to remove the water but this one remained in place no matter what He did.

They all then looked at Vivi more closely and noticed that she was missing her right arm.

"Captain!, ill help you!." Rivers started to run to Bellamy but was knocked out by Montblanc before He could get close.

Vivi's gaze was completely focused on Bellamy and more specifically, she was focused on maintaining the shape of the water.

This was the other discovery she had made after much trial and error.

She is completely unable to control any external source of water. The water that her body is made of feels different that any other water out there.

She tried many times to move the water inside a glass right in front of her but it felt impossible. However, if she drank that glass of water, something seems to change. The water becomes different once is part of her and then, she is able to control it and shape it at her will.

Vivi then had a thought.

'What if I detach a part of my body? can I still control that water?.'

The answer to that question was yes. But only for a limited amount of time. According to her experiments, she is able to control the detached water for almost ten minutes, after that, the water loses its special properties and becomes normal water that she cannot control.

'But ten minutes is more than enough to suffocate someone to death.'

Vivi thought as she watched Bellamy getting more and more desperate while trying to breathe.

Montblanc and the others two were also watching the macabre spectacle but didn't say a word.

After several minutes, Bellamy finally lost consciousness and fell down but Vivi kept the water in place for another minute to make sure He wasn't pretending.

She then recalled the sphere of water and this one flew back to her and reformed into her arm once more.

Vivi then looked at Montblanc.

"Are you guys going to stand there? or are you going to help me out?."

Montblanc reacted to her words.

"Masira, Shoujou. Take the bodies and toss them at the sea. They were never here! understood?."

"Sure, Boss. What about that one?." Masira pointed out at the unconscious one next to him.

"I have heard that the Bellamy pirates have a connection with Doflamingo. If you show him kindness and let him go…you will have a Shichibukai coming for your head." Vivi held the knife tightly.

"Let me finish him off."

Montblanc looked at her with a serious expression.

"Your hand is shaking. Is this the first time you killed someone?."

Vivi thought for a moment and then nodded.

'Crocodile doesn't count…that was not me.'

He sighed.

"Then, I'm sorry you had to dirty your hands for me. I'll take care of this one." Montblanc said while holding the unconscious pirate by his neck.

"Why don't you go inside and clean yourself up before your friends come back? Leave the rest to us."
