6 Chapter 6: Ace.

Sitting on the bed, exhausted, Hiruma had just used hid Conqueror's Haki, and his body couldn't bear it. He needed some rest.

After all, showing off comes at a cost.

"I'm still too weak," he thought.

The bandits in this world were nothing compared to the pirates, they were far too weak. The only significant landmass in this world was the Red line that circled the world. Other than that, there were only small islands, and even the larger islands were considered countries. Like the Goa Kingdom where he was now, it was just a relatively large island with a population of only a few hundred thousand. Bandits had no future in such small places.

Before he knew it, Hiruma had fallen asleep.

....

After half an hour.

Suddenly, he was awakened by a loud bang, as someone had kicked the door open.

He opened his eyes and saw a small figure silhouetted in the doorway, holding a steel pipe.

It was Ace, the son of Roger, and the one who had paid the ultimate price for ushering in the "Great Age of Pirates."

"Kid, you woke me up," Hiruma said sarcastically. "I heard that you were specially invited by Curly to discipline me. Do you think that you can do that?"

Without saying a word, Ace swung the steel pipe and smashed it towards Hiruma. The little guy was like a fierce tiger cub, wild and untamed.

But that's just what Hiruma wanted as he punched the now-in-mid-air Ace.

With a loud thud, Ace flew backward at a speed even faster than when he had charged forward, dropping the steel pipe with a loud clatter.

Hiruma did not hold back with his strength, even though it was only at 22 points. It was not something a ten-year-old child could withstand.

Ace was lying on the ground and couldn't get up for a while. Before he crawled and lay on the wall.

This brutal little beast needed some strong medicine. A yellow light appeared, and Hiruma was surprised to see a yellow-grade loot drop.

[Ding! Congratulations to the host for acquiring the skill: Boxing from the yellow-grade loot. The initial level of the skill is being matched according to the host's talent]

Although he knew what the result would be, Hiruma still looked at his attributes with a glimmer of hope.

[Host]: Hiruma

[Strength]: 22

[Speed]: 30

[Constitution]: 21

[Skills]: Swordsmanship Lv1, Marksmanship Lv1, Taunt LvMAX, Babysitting LvMAX, Boxing Lv1.

Hope...

It seems to have been shattered.

As expected, his Boxing skills are only at level one.

His talent is just terrible, he's not good at swordsmanship, marksmanship, or martial arts.

After all that effort, he finally unlocked the Conqueror's Haki, then he acquired a purple loot only for it to be deducted by the system.

"Damn it!" He cursed inwardly.

"Kid, do I have the authority to discipline you now?"

Hiruma held Ace's steel pipe, shook it to display his sword technique, and held it against Ace's throat.

Even though he was only at level one, he at least had some knowledge of swordsmanship.

With this stance, he looked a bit cool.

At least, he thought he was pretty cool.

Ace wanted to say something, but his body didn't obey him, so he could only stare at Hiruma with a malicious look.

That gaze was full of murderous intent, despair, and malice towards the world!

This world was twisted to the extreme, driving countless people mad.

Ace was already quite lucky.

Before he became a complete lunatic, he met people like Curly Dadan, Luffy, and Sabo who gave him a glimmer of hope.

If it weren't for them, he would probably have become another Doflamingo!

To create a hero, all you need to do is to drench them in darkness and then leave them with a glimmer of hope.

To create a lunatic, all you need to do is take away the last glimmer of hope.

"Kid, it seems like you don't quite believe me."

"Since that's the case, I'll give you a chance!"

As he spoke, Hiruma pulled out the knife from his waist and threw it at Ace.

The sharp blade grazed Ace's skin and stuck in the wall he lay on. As he turned, he could see his reflection on the knife.

The knife, like a mirror, reflected Ace's stunned expression.

"Within ten days, no matter what time it is or what method you use, as long as you can hurt a single strand of hair on me, I'll give you a pirate ship, a real pirate ship!" Hiruma's tone was full of mockery.

A pirate ship!

Upon hearing these three words, a different kind of radiance bloomed on Ace's youthful face.

He and Sabo went through countless hardships, traveling through forests and dangerous places, just to save up enough treasure to buy a pirate ship.

"Are you serious?" Ace struggled to stand up and looked straight at Hiruma.

Hiruma still had a mocking expression on his face. "I don't bother lying to a kid who's still nursing. You can try for ten days. As long as you can harm me, I'll immediately give you the pirate ship."

Who could Ace possibly get to help him? Just Sabo.

What a great opportunity to loot! Both Luffy and Ace could drop loot that was beyond their fighting abilities, and Sabo probably wouldn't be too bad either.

"Could it be because of their potential?" Hiruma guessed.

Previously, Luffy started with yellow loot drops, which could be explained by the Devil Fruit. But Ace hasn't eaten the Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit) yet, and he actually dropped a yellow item on his first try, which is really not normal.

It should be noted that whether it's his own subordinates or the rest of the Dadan family, they only dropped red items.

"Good! Deal!" Ace drew his pipe from the ground, looked at Hiruma, and turned to walk into the forest.

It looks like he's going to find Sabo for help.

Dadan ran in place, gasping for breath. "Hiruma-san, is this really okay?"

She knew how stubborn Ace could be.

Of course, she wasn't afraid that Ace would hurt Hiruma, but that he would hurt Ace.

She was really heartbroken when she saw that punch just now.

Although she always wanted someone to take Ace away, in fact, after ten years of getting along and raising Ace from when he was a baby, she really saw him as her own son.

Otherwise, after the Battle of Summit War, she, who was always so afraid of Garp, would not have beaten him up and blamed him for not saving Ace, who was so close to him.

"If you want to tame a wild beast, you must first thoroughly subdue it." After Hiruma finished speaking, he looked at Curly was still running in place. "What are you doing?"

Curly was stunned, and even her plump face showed a hint of shyness like a young girl.

"I'm trying to lose weight. Hiruma-san doesn't like fat women, does he?"

Hiruma only felt a chill running up from his feet, making him feel like he was losing his mind.

"Can I still make it if I run now?"
