86 End of Battle

Heat wielded his dual swords as he faced off against a group of Marines.

"Even if Vice Admiral John is defeat, we'll at least take the head of one of you damn pirates back with us!!" A Marine declared.

Heat calmly scanned the enemies standing in front of him before he smirked "Hoi hoi, ganging up on one person like this is not a cool thing…Let's make it even…" he declared, before four figures suddenly appeared behind him.

The Marines gasped in horror when they saw that "That's..."

"--The previous Warlord of the Sea Gecko Moria!!"

"Not only him, but that's also Byrnndi World and Captain John…They all look like Zombies!!"

"What the hell is going on?!"

Among them stood Ryuma, unrecognizable. Currently in the prison cells of the Victoria Punk, several prisoners had their shadows stolen by Heat.

"Let's rock!!" Heat declared, and the zombies charged at the Marines. Bullets had no effect on them whatsoever.

"Dark Cloaked…" Heat's body surged with black energy as he tightened his grip on his swords. He coated the blades with shadow energy, making them into longer shadow blades, extending their reach.

"…Black Blade!"

FWOOOSH!! SPLASH!! Swinging his swords from a distance, sliced through the Marines with his shadow blades before he approached one of the fallen ones and aimed the sharp end of his sword at him, releasing one of the shadows he stole before and implanted it inside his corps.

"Arise."

Suddenly, the corpse started moving as he stood up walking to Heat's side "Now you're gonna have to fight your previous comrades, I hope you don't mind"

The zombie obediently nodded his head and carried Heat's orders without complaint "As you say Master"

…

Nearby, Gin squared off against Commodore Ralph. Gin was in his hybrid black panther form, with glossy black fur and piercing yellow cat-like eyes, faced Ralph head-on.

Clang!...Clang! Their weapons clashed with resounding clangs, but it was evident that Gin held the advantage. Employing his fighting style, the "Man-Demon Tactics" Gin launched a powerful assault.

"You're as tough as the rumors says, Gin the 'Man-Demon'…" Ralph remarked struggling to hold back Gin.

"I'm as tough as my captains need me to be!" Gin retorted.

He then proceeded to leap high up in the air and then descended towards the Commodore using the momentum to unleash a barrage of bludgeoning smacks with his Haki imbued tonfa at the same spot in multiple angles.

"Demonic Thrashing!!"

BAM! BAM! BAM! Ralph raised his long sword above him and tried to block the attack. But despite his attempts to defend himself, Gin's barrage overwhelmed him, eventually knocking him unconscious.

Immediately afterwards a Pacifista materialized beside Gin, its menacing form immediately launching a laser beam towards him.

KA-BOOOOM!! Gin's eyes widened as he was caught in surprise but before he could get hit by the attack, Krieg suddenly appeared beside him and grabbed him by his back collar and then jumped away at high speed, saving him at last second.

"Don't let your guard down, Gin!" Krieg exclaimed before he glanced back at the Pacifista with a confident grin.

"Thanks…" Gin sighed in relief before he also looked at the Pacifista's direction with a serious face.

"Time to show this lousy cyborg who's boss!" Krieg declared, leading the charge alongside Gin. The Pacifista unleashed several laser beams, but the agile pair effortlessly evaded them, swiftly closing in to launch a joint assault.

Krieg clenched his left fist tightly, hardening it with Armament Haki before using his More-More ability to increase his strength and speed 100 times and then punched the Pacifista in the stomach while activating the Impact Dial mounted in his armor as well.

BOOOOOM!!! The punch sent a strong shockwave ahead, obliterating the ground in its path.

"Krieg Impact!!"

Beside him, Gin thrusted both his tonfa at the Pacifista bashing its head and causing immense damage to it.

FWOOOOSH!! BOOOOM!!! The force of Krieg and Gin's combined attacks sent the Pacifista flying out of the island before exploding from taking too much damage and then drowning into the sea.

The last Pacifista attempted to strike the Victoria Punk directly, prompting Saga to swiftly deal with him.

With all the strongest figures being defeated, the rest of the Marines had no choice but to retreat and left the island afterwards.

…

A few minutes earlier...Somewhere else in the island,

KA-BOOOM!!! A huge blast rocked the island's central turtle-shaped mountain, carving out a massive crater at its core.

Kai, Weevil and Whitey Bay all glanced at its direction in surprise.

"What was that just now?!" Whitey Bay questioned as she looked at it in shock.

Kai's face went from surprise to smiling when he saw the direction the attack was fired from "He must be having a good fight...that shithead Kid!" He said, then turned to Weevil with fresh enthusiasm "Alright, alright…It's time for me to end this fight, it's been taking way too long"

"Huff…Huff…Screw you!! I'll make you pay for hurting mommy!!" Weevil flashed a hostile looked at Kai before he spun his naginata above his head, creating a strong rush of air. His entire body was bloody and full of injuries, and he was breathing heavily from exhaustion.

As for Kai, apart from the large cut on his chest that he received earlier, there were no serious injuries on him "I can't let myself get any more bad injuries, there is still a big war ahead of me soon…fighting you wasn't even part of my plan, I was gonna relax in this place for a couple of days before leaving…"

Kai gripped his wounded chest, emitting a soft groan of pain as he glanced at the blood on his palm "…Let's finish this"

Kai declared, scrapping Shichiseiken at the ground, and the friction created green-colored flames before Kai channeled lightning into the blade, and from its tip he mixed both the green flames and the blue lightning to make a big, teal-colored sphere that looks like a miniature sun that crackles with lightning.

The ball can burn anything near it, or it touches. With a wicked grin Kai swung his sword downward, hurling the ball towards Weevil "Burn up you son of a bitch!"

Weevil was startled when he saw that, but he quickly reacted by cutting the giant ball in half. Unfortunately for him the attack did not stop there and the moment he cut the ball it exploded on him sending waves flames and lightning that burned his skin and gave Kai an opportunity to strike.

Kai took advantage of that opening and used a range attack. He proceeded to extend his left arm ahead and use his wind power to unleash a large vertical Haki imbued slash that traveled along the ground destroying it on the way.

<World-Splitting Slash>

Weevil's eyes widened in surprise as he tried to move to the side, but he wasn't fast enough, and the slash ended up cutting his right arm.

SPLASH!! Blood gushed from his shoulder as his arm flew in the air.

"AAAAGHHHH!!! IT HURT!! IT HURT!!" Weevil screamed in pain as he fell on his back and rolled on the ground in pain.

Kai smirked at that sight as he rushed towards him. When the latter noticed him, he had a look of horror in his face before he quickly got up on his feet and tried to escape.

"Whitebeard would have never turned his back on his opponent and ran away you disgrace!" Kai shouted at him before he created a small sphere of dense yet flexible cloud substance above his hand and then he coated his sword with it before imbuing it with Haki.

Kai then aimed his left palm at Weevil before he transformed it into clouds. Using his control over wind clouds, he generated a vacuum effect that draw Weevil back towards him while generating swirling vortex effect.

After that Kai stretched the cloud blade forward at great speed, impaling Weevil who was getting pulled towards him from behind before releasing an electrical shockwave through the clouds, frying him from the inside.

"Internal Shock!"

SPLASH!!

"BLUGHH!!!" Weevil threw a mouthful of blood as his eyes rolled back and he slowly fell on his knees before collapsing face down on the ground.

In this battle between a Worst Generation captain and a Warlord of the Sea, the winner is 'Red Demon' Eustass Kai.

"…"

"I can't believe it…he beat that monster who defeated 14 captains that used to work under Oyaji…" Whitey Bay sat on the ground, her mouth agape in utter shock. The injuries she had sustained earlier rendered her unable to stand or walk.

"Phew! What a tough man" Kai approached the unconscious Weevil with a smile before he turned to Whitey Bay and addressed her "Do you want to kill these two or should I just do it myself?" He asked her, he was about to kill the Warlord and his mother either way. Kai wasn't stupid enough to let someone who might develop a grudge against him to walk away, the worst thing that can happen is them coming back for revenge later or joining his enemies. On top of that getting rid of him might earn him the favor of the Whitebeard Pirates.

Whitey Bay glanced at him briefly before breaking into a smile and responding "You're the one who brought him down, I can't do that even if I want to"

"Whatever" Kai pointed the sharp end of his sword at Weevil's heart and stabbed it, ending his life on the spot. He then walked to Miss Buckin and did the same thing.

"Well now you owe me two favors, one for saving you and one for killing your enemy" he said while approaching Whitey Bay with a friendly smile.

"You're a shameless one, aren't you? Well, I can't argue with that, you really did save me. Whether you were intending to do that or not, I owe you my life and I'll make sure to pay you back in the future" She muttered as she attempted to stand, her legs giving way unexpectedly, causing her to lose balance. Just as she was about to topple over, Kai swiftly caught her around the waist "…?!!"

"I already know how you could repay me" Kai said before he princess carried her and leaped into the air using Geppo, flying back to the Victoria Punk.

Whitey Bay was flustered as she exclaimed in surprise "W-What are you doing?!!"

"You clearly can't move. I'll help you out"

"Don't expect another favor out of this"

"Having two favors from a gorgeous lady like you is already enough for me" he replied with a smile, causing her cheeks to flush. She averted her gaze, biting her lip in embarrassment "Kahahaha!! You get embarrassed so easily!"

"Shut up!...Ahem--A-Anyway, you said you already know how I could repay you? What is it that you want" She asked him with a serious face.

"Yeap, you and your crew are strong enough to be recognized as infamous New World pirate captain, you even served on Whitebeard's ship. You'll be of a great help if you could join my side maybe get some of your allies to join me as well in my upcoming battle" Kai told her.

"Battle? You're going after someone?"

"I was initially going after Big Mom, but I still need more preparation, so before that I'm going to invade Pirate Island Hachinosu…I will take down Wang Zhi and get my hand on a certain treasure hidden in that island to build a fleet and then attack the Emperor of the Sea Big Mom!" Kai declared, making Whitey Bay gasp in shock.

"You want to take down Wang Zhi and then attack Big Mom?!! Are you serious?! That guy is very dangerous, and he's been the boss of Pirate Island for years!!"

"That's precisely why I have to take him down"

'And I have to do that quickly, Blackbeard might try to invade that place anytime soon and it will be impossible to get my hand on Captain John's treasure without having to fight him which I'm not ready for yet' Kai thought in his mind 'I'm pretty sure the island with a skull that Buggy was looking for is Hachinosu, considering Captain John's history with the Rocks Pirates he might have been the boss of that island before he was killed by his crew and Wang Zhi took over it…'

'…I will use Captain John's armband that I found in Thriller Bark to find the treasure, and even if I don't, fighting a monster like Wang Zhi is sure gonna help me get stronger before the Emperor fight'

"Things are about to get interesting from now on"
