Brontes stood over Jinbei, who lay on the ground at his feet.

"Tell Sengoku-san that Jinbei refused to follow orders. Arrange for someone to take him to Impel Down." Brontes shook his head in pity, then instructed his assistant.

"Yes, sir!" The assistant nodded and hurried away.

Brontes then walked back to his office. He picked up a black Den Mushi and dialed a number.

"Magellan, how are things over there?" Brontes asked calmly.

Magellan, the warden of Impel Down, answered quickly: "The prison is stable for now. The Marine reinforcements are here, and we're ready for whatever comes our way."

"Good." Brontes nodded and said: "I have another prisoner for you. Make sure he's kept in Level 6."

"Who is it?" Magellan asked. He knew that when Brontes personally called him, it meant this wasn't just any prisoner.

"Jinbei, the Knight of the Sea, one of the Seven Shichibukai." Brontes replied slowly.

"Got it, one of the Shichibukai. I'll take care of it." Magellan said, not asking any more questions.

Brontes put down the Den Mushi and turned to his assistant, who was standing near the broken door.

"I need to see Vice-Admirals Gion and Lonz, call them to my office." Brontes said.

A few minutes later, a man and a woman entered the office. They glanced around, seeing the damage from the recent battle.

Brontes looked at them seriously, and said: "Gion, Lonz, I have an important task for you two."

Both Vice-Admirals nodded, waiting to hear what Brontes had to say. It was clear from his tone that this was something serious.

As soon as Brontes mentioned "task," Gion and Lonz became serious.

They knew it wasn't just any job. Being trusted subordinates of Brontes meant their skills were just a notch below the seasoned Vice-Admirals of Marineford.

Although they held ranks within the Marines, they reported directly to Brontes, not Sengoku.

Brontes started explaining slowly: "The public announcement for the execution of Fire Fist Ace is coming soon, which means the Whitebeard Pirates will likely attack Marineford to stop it. That's going to spark a big war between the Marines and the Whitebeard Pirates. Other pirates might take advantage of the chaos to attack Marine bases in the New World. Your job is to protect the G-1 Base during this time."

Lonz nodded but raised a concern: "No problem, sir. But what if the other Yonko attack the base? We can handle regular pirates, but the Yonko are on another level."

Brontes replied with a confident voice: "Don't worry about that. Just do your job and keep the G-1 Base secure. If any of the other three Yonko make a move, let me know, and I'll handle it."

Gion suddenly changed the topic. With a hint of playfulness and shyness, she asked: "Fleet-Admiral Ragnarok, do you plan to stay single forever?"

Brontes gave her a quick glance but continued working on his documents without saying a word.

Gion pouted: "I knew you'd reject me again. You're heartless, sir. It's just a tattoo; I'll get it removed if that's the problem." Her voice had a mix of sadness and a touch of charm.

"This has nothing to do with it. Go and do your tasks." Brontes said without even looking up, dismissing Gion and Lonz with a wave of his hand.

He went back to his paperwork, his expression showing no interest in the conversation.

Gion left with a hint of reluctance, while Lonz followed her, sensing the tension in the air.

At Marineford, many high-ranking Marines knew Brontes was single, and it wasn't a secret that Gion was pursuing him.

But Brontes never showed any interest in her, often using flimsy excuses like disliking tattoos on women to push her away. It was clear that he simply wasn't interested.

....

The next day, after organizing the defense of the G-1 Base in the New World, Brontes received an unexpected message.

The News Coo was ready to be dispatched, but something had come up. A man in a suit stood before Brontes, who seemed annoyed by the interruption.

"Just let them send Borsalino." Brontes said coldly, not bothering to hide his irritation.

"But the World Nobles still want you to intervene personally, sir. You're responsible for their safety, and this time three World Nobles were attacked. We need to show the world their wrath, or else such incidents might keep happening." The man explained in a serious tone.

Brontes sneered and said mockingly: "They were just beaten, not killed. What's there to worry about? They think they can do whatever they want just because they're World Nobles? Tck! If they want to die so badly, let them."

The man in the suit looked nervous, his voice shaking with fear: "B-But, Fleet-Admiral, Saints Rosward, Charlos, and Shalria were all attacked, which has a big impact on the World Nobles' reputation. The Five Elders think it would be better if you handled this personally."

"Let's hear it then—who did it? I want to know who's bold enough to attack three World Nobles in one go!" Brontes asked with a playful smile, though he already knew the answer. It had to be the Straw Hat Pirates.

The man in the suit, his eyes downcast, responded carefully: "The culprits are the Straw Hat Pirates, Heart Pirates, and Kid Pirates. They're part of the Supernova, the new generation of pirates. We found a strong man among the Straw Hat Pirates, and we suspect it's Dark King Rayleigh."

Brontes didn't care when the man mentioned Rayleigh, he let out a cold laugh and said: "Hahaha! They knew we were about to execute Fire Fist Ace, and that most of the Marine troops were at Marineford, yet they still acted recklessly and arrogantly. Good for nothings. Well, getting beaten up this time should teach them a lesson. Not everyone's going to put up with their antics just because they're World Nobles."

The man in the suit was sweating heavily. Only Brontes could talk about the World Nobles this way without fear of consequence.

But he still had a concern: "But... But the Five Elders..." He started, but Brontes cut him off.

'Stop. I'll go to Sabaody Archipelago myself. Maybe I need to clear my head with everything that's been happening." Brontes stood up and walked toward the door, not looking back.

The man in the suit was visibly relieved. As soon as Brontes left the office, he quickly wiped the sweat from his forehead.

It was like the air in the room had turned deadly, and he couldn't wait to get out of the mansion as fast as possible.

....

The Sabaody Archipelago was in complete chaos. People were fleeing from the islands, creating a frantic rush to escape.

The cause of all this mayhem? Three World Nobles had been attacked!

Attacking a World Noble was a severe crime; attacking three at once was unprecedented.

World Nobles were the descendants of the creators of the World Government. Only nineteen of the original twenty families remained, making them the highest-ranking nobles in the world.

When World Nobles were attacked, it meant that an Admiral would definitely intervene, leading to catastrophic consequences. This was a known fact among the residents of Sabaody.

Whether you were the attacker or just a bystander, getting involved in an incident with the World Nobles could bring severe repercussions. So, everyone who could, tried to leave as quickly as possible.

"Boom!"

"Boom! Boom!"

Explosions echoed throughout the Sabaody Archipelago.

The whole area had turned into a battleground, with constant clashes between Marine soldiers and the Supernova pirates.

Fortunately for the Marines, when most troops were pulled back to Marineford, Pacifistas were sent to keep the situation under control in Sabaody.

After the incident, Borsalino, also arrived at Sabaody Archipelago. It wasn't long before he encountered a group of Supernova pirates, including Hawkins, Apoo, Urouge, and Drake.

"What troublesome rookies..." Borsalino muttered, looking down at the four pirates lying unconscious on the ground.

The fight had been entirely one-sided, as expected when facing an Admiral—the highest power within the Marineford.

Though Sabaody was still chaotic, Borsalino's swift action quelled the threat posed by the Supernovas, offering some sense of order amidst the chaos.

But for the people living on the islands, it was clear that safety was fleeting, and the quickest route off the island was the smartest choice.
