Whitebeard didn't even bother to ask Brontes for his reasons before he swung his naginata at him.

Brontes's threat had touched his nerve, whose heart had grown more sensitive with age.

In a fleeting moment, memories of battles past, friends lost, and the weight of leadership flashed through Whitebeard's mind, sharpening his resolve. He wasn't interested in excuses; his only thought was to cut down Brontes.

"Boom! Rumble! Boom! ZliZli!"

The power unleashed by the two was beyond what ordinary people could imagine.

Morgans, in the sky, nearly got blown away. He was on a seagull, which rapidly descended, but fortunately, he stabilized it. Because of the distance, the impact on him was greatly reduced, which spared him from what could be worse.

However, Morgans was left in a sorry state. Only after regaining his balance did he dare to look back, and the scene that unfolded before him left Morgans stunned, his camera almost dropped into the sea.

"This, this is a battle between m-monsters!"

The sea whipped up waves thousands of feet high. Nearby, a pod of sea creatures dived deeper, sensing the turmoil above.

Birds scattered, and the sky itself seemed to protest, with clouds swirling and lightning striking wildly, tearing both the sky and sea apart.

"Pops!"

Marco and the others were knocked to the side of the ship by the sudden onset of the fight, a level of combat far beyond their ability to intervene.

"Quick, let's get out of here!" Marco shouted to Jozu and the others.

"Okay."

Jozu gathered the newcomers who had just been knocked unconscious by Conqueror's Haki, along with others, and began to retreat, moving away from the bow of the deck.

"Boom!"

The power between the two erupted once again. The deck beneath their feet burst apart, fragments flying into the air, which were then turned into dust by the combined force of their shockwaves and the power of lightning, scattering with the wind.

"Ragnarok!"

Whitebeard lifted his bisento high, as a white hole wrapped the tip of bisento.

"Whitebeard!"

Brontes wasted no words either, concentrating lightning on the tip of his spear and thrusting it at Whitebeard.

"Boom!! Rumble!!"

The blades of the bisento and the spearhead collided once again, and the sea roared without end.

Centered around the Moby Dick, the entire sea area vibrated. This was more than a battle; it was a symphony of destruction, witnessed by an audience that spanned the entire world.

"This..."

Morgans in the sky came to his senses, took out a high-powered lens for his camera, and captured the entire scene. He also took out a Den Den Mushi and placed it on his shoulder.

"Connect me to Kanto, we will broadcast everything live!" Morgans shouted excitedly.

At the same time, as Morgans started the live broadcast via the Den Den Mushi, the headquarters of the World Economy News Paper received the footage.

Though somewhat blurry, the ship was unmistakably recognized by anyone living in the New World.

Thus, the president immediately reported the matter to the World Government. The news spread like wildfire, reaching taverns, royal courts, and secret hideouts, igniting a flurry of speculation and concern.

....

"The conflict broke between the two." The Five Elders frowned upon seeing the footage. Their chambers, usually a place of quiet strategy, now buzzed with the tension of impending decisions.

"It's just a clash with Whitebeard, not a full-scale war. Have the Marine ready. If something unexpected happens, let interfere to stop the fight." The Five Elders ultimately decided.

"The final outcome still unknown." The Five Elders watched the footage closely, aware that the world's balance hung in the balance.

Meanwhile, not only the Five Elders saw this footage, but Sengoku at the Marineford also received the video from the World Government.

Sengoku, his face set in lines of deep concern, immediately ordered Sakazuki and Borsalino, who were in the New World, to be ready.

The Marine at this moment was like a massive machine, had already started moving, waiting for the switch to be turned on, at which point the entire machinery would be activated.

...

Cake Island.

"Mom, we are receiving a livestream. Morgans didn't lie to us." Perospero rushed into Big Mom's room and shouted excitedly.

As he spoke, his eyes gleamed with the prospect of witnessing a clash between titans, a rare spectacle even in their tumultuous world.

"What are you waiting for? Let me see it quickly!" Big Mom ordered Perospero to open the video.

Inside her mind, she wondered which outcome would serve her interests best.

"Mamamama! Hurry up and start fighting. I wonder how long that old man Whitebeard can hold on. It would be best if both of them die." Big Mom laughed wickedly, her voice echoing through the room, filled with dark anticipation.

The air around her seemed to shiver with the intensity of her desires, as if even the atmosphere of Cake Island was responsive to her whims.

To curry favor with Big Mom, Morgans broadcasted a livestream to her, aiming to gain the support of one of the Four Yonko.

The seas around Cake Island churned violently, reflecting the chaos of the battle broadcasted, a mirror to the turmoil that unfolded far away.

Thus, through Morgans' dissemination, many people became aware that Brontes was fighting with Whitebeard. The fight was still ongoing, with the two having only just made contact.

One of Big Mom's children whispered to his companion: "Have you ever seen such power? It's as if the gods themselves are at war."

.....

"Lightning Dragon!"

With a soft shout from Brontes, a dragon made of white blue lightning burst forth from behind him, charging straight at Whitebeard.

Whitebeard clenched his right fist tightly that was wrapped in a white orb, and then struck the rapidly approaching Lighting Dragon.

"Boom! Rumble!"

The air let out a muffled groan, then shattered like glass, the immense force of the punch hitting the lightning dragon, directing the lightning into the sky. Below, the sea roiled as if fearing the power unleashed above.

However, Whitebeard's punch was not merely of this magnitude. The destructive power of his Tremor-Tremor Fruit was even stronger than those of Logia type fruit users.

To put it plainly, the Tremor-Tremor Fruit could also be considered a Logia type, albeit within the realm of Paramecia.

Why the Tremor-Tremor Fruit could be seen as a Logia is because Logia powers are essentially natural elements that exist in nature, such Magma, Light, and Ice.

The Tremor-Tremor Fruit can cause earthquakes, and earthquakes are natural disasters.

In terms of destructive power, the force of an earthquake can be no less devastating than floods or magma flows, even surpassing the range of most natural disasters, making its inclusion as a Logia type not an exaggeration.

The only thing is its lack of elemental transformation, which makes one forget that the earthquakes caused by Whitebeard's fruit are natural disasters.

"Take the ship to the nearest land!" Marco, seeing Whitebeard was going all out, immediately shouted to everyone on the ship.

His voice carried the urgency of the moment, a directive that could mean the difference between survival and a watery grave.

If the battle continued, the Moby Dick would undoubtedly be destroyed, and they would all fall into the sea. The only option was to move the fight to land.

Under the burst of Whitebeard's earthquake power, Brontes's body was flung into the air, breaking apart mid-flight.

However, as Logia type devil fruit user, physical strikes were useless against him; he transformed into lightning in the air, exploiting the speed of his electric form to instantly appear beside Whitebeard.

But Whitebeard had already anticipated his move. So as soon as Brontes appeared beside him, Whitebeard threw another punch, enveloped in Armament Haki, but it was met with Brontes's fist, also wrapped in Armament Haki.

"Gurararara! You're quite bold, kid!" Whitebeard suddenly laughed; his booming voice filled with a warrior's respect for a worthy opponent.

"Shnn!"

A transparent orb of light appeared on Whitebeard's fist, gathering the true essence of Whitebeard's Devil Fruit. "Severe Earthquake!"

Whitebeard roared, his Devil Fruit powers bursting forth, the effect of the vibrations covering Brontes's lighting fist.

Even Kaido, in his monstrous form, would find himself at a disadvantage against Whitebeard under the effect of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit. The defenses provided by Haki were utterly useless.

"Booom!!"

"Crshk!"

Indeed, under the power of Whitebeard, Brontes's arm bent, the sound of breaking bones audible, his arm twisted in a strange way.

"This...!!" Marco, who was flying not far away, suddenly realized that Brontes's expression hadn't changed at all, as if the horrifying fracture in his arm was nothing.

Whitebeard's eyes widened in utter astonishment at the sight before him. Brontes's fist opened, his fingers grasping one of Whitebeard's fingers.

Given Whitebeard's larger size, Brontes's palm could only secure one of Whitebeard's fingers, prying it free from his fist.

"Lightning Plasma!"

Brontes revealed a ferocious smile, and then his arm transformed into a streak of lightning, unlike any other, with layers of color - blue on the outside, red within, and a dazzling gold at the core.

This lightning, akin to a plasma stream, pierced through Whitebeard's finger.

"Get lost!"

Whitebeard shouted angrily, but it was too late.

A puff of black smoke rose from his finger, the scent of charred meat wafting through the air.

The terrifyingly high temperature of the lightning pierced through Whitebeard's finger, leaving behind only a layer of dry skin and the white bones, as the flesh and blood inside vanished.

"Pops!"

Seeing the flesh on Whitebeard's finger disappear, Marco's eyes bulged in disbelief. A cold realization dawned upon him and the crew; their invincible captain was injured.

"An injury for injury, what a crazy madman!"

Morgans, spying from above, was so shocked his jaw nearly dropped.

He had a clear view through his high-powered binoculars.

Brontes's arm was broken, likely with shattered bones, but Whitebeard fared no better.

The high temperatures from Brontes's lightning not only broke through Whitebeard's finger but nearly destroyed his palm.

Morgans finally understood why Brontes was dubbed as the Marine's madman a few years ago.

His approach to combat was utterly reckless. Despite facing Whitebeard, he didn't utilize his mastery of lightning speed and Devil Fruit abilities for harassment. Instead, he chose a direct, mutually destructive strategy, biting off a piece of flesh from Whitebeard.

...

The scene shifted back to Big Mom, watching with a mix of horror and fascination.

"Mamamama! What a delightful turn of events!" She mused, her thoughts already racing towards how to exploit the outcome of the battle.
