leaving Hashi

Ragnar knocked on the door as a man answered to the knock, it was the mayor of Hashi island. The old man welcomed the younger gentleman inside.

"Mayor Kaoshi, You Might have noticed that We are packing up our camps, Right?" Ragnar asked the mayor, the mayor nodded.

"I have Indeed noticed, Is there any problem Here on Hashi?" The mayor asked, Ragnar shook his head as he took out a denden mushi from his pocket and handed it to the mayor.

"We are leaving the island to start our Adventure, If you encounter any trouble, please contact us, This denden mushi cannot be accessed by the marines, it is a Parting Gift from us. My number Is written at the back of the denden mushi." Ragnar said, Kaoshi refused to take the denden mushi.

"I cannot accept such a gift, the price of such denden mushi is in millions, You have done enough for us these past months." Kaoshi said Refusing to accept the denden mushi, he was a humble man.

"You can take it, This island has very high chances of being attacked in the near future, You can contact us when it happens. Take it as us repaying your favour." Ragnar said as he put the Den den mushi in the man's hands.

"If you say so, Come here, I have something for you." The old man said as he went inside a room, He turned the lights of the room on and brought out a box, He cleaned the box off and took out a key that he was wearing as a necklace. He slides the key in the keyhole, unlocking it.

"My son was a great pirate, He left this island in hopes of starting a great adventure, like you and came home injured and with a disease. Four years ago, he died from the disease, He left this chest and said that it was a precious item of his friend who had died from the same disease many years prior, He told me to give it to someone he knew that could carry his legacy." He lifted the top of the chest and it opened with a creaking sound. A fruit with strange swirl patterns, having the shape of an apple was in the box.

"A devil fruit?" Ragnar questioned the older man who nodded.

"This is a Mythical zoan, I don't know what fruit it is but My son said to leave it in good hands." Kaoshi said as he handed the chest to Ragnar, Ragnar held the chest firmly in his hands as he looked at the fruit closely, he didn't recognize the fruit from the series, meaning it had yet to appear or no one had eaten this fruit in two decades, when the series started.

"I can't thank you enough for it, But do you really want to give it to me? You have only known me for half a year." Ragnar asked the man, Kaoshi chuckled.

"You can keep it, I do not have any need for it. You remind me of my son, He wanted to become an adventurous pirate who wanted to explore the wonderful seas." The mayor said as his voice lowered. Ragnar couldn't help but look down in sadness. 'The old man probably didn't want his Son to become a pirate due to he dangers but after his son died, he lost all faith in the life of a pirate. That is why he tried to warn me when we first met.' Was the thought in Ragnar's head.

After sometime of Chatting with the mayor for the last time, Ragnar left the man's house and went over to the crew. It was Almost time to leave.

After getting on board, the pirates greeted him and started making arrangements to leave the island. He noticed Kashi, Kazuma and Shin comming near him and couldn't help but smile, those three had grown a lot in the past year, Kashi was a bounty hunter, Kazuma was under Nail Jack and Shin was just some little kid on Shigeru island.

"This is the start of our great Adventure, Huh, Captain." Shin asked enthusiastically.

"I can't help but see how far we have come. I was once just some kid that wanted to explore the seas. Now I can make my dream reality, Starting this crew, Making friends, Training and getting stronger, Those were all the things I did to come here." Ragnar said as he looked out to Hashi island. As the ships got unanchored and the sails unfurled, Showing the Jolly Roger of the Sabre Pirates.

"The Sabre Pirates's adventure starts from today. The day that shall be written down in history." Kazuma said as he looked at Hashi island.

"You're right, This day is a legendary day." Kashi replied as the ships started getting farther and farther away from Hashi island. After a year of preparing, today is the day that a Saber pirate's ship Unfurls and sails for the first time.
