{6} First Fight

(Flashback To 8 Years Ago)

It was two days after burying my mother. Feeling hungry, I decided to hunt something for food. To be safe, I took my mother's sabre and rifle.

Deciding to start hunting, I departed the house and walked for about 10 minutes. A den came into my view. Since it was broad daylight, I was able to see the end of the lair, and what was at the end were two cloud wolves.

Walking carefully, I entered the wolves' lair, sure to avoid stepping on the bones left on the floor. Probably from their eaten prey.

Slowly moving forward, I raised the rifle and was about to fire it but failed to notice a bone in front of me. Stepping on it immediately alarmed the sleeping wolves.

Before they could fully respond, I pulled the trigger at the cloud wolf on the left, killing it.

The other cloud wolf witnessing its partner's death became enraged and lunged at me before I could fire at it.

Before it could bite me, I put up the gun as a barrier between the cloud wolf and me. Though, that didn't stop its claws from leaving scratches on me.

The injuries were healing thanks to my rapid regeneration, but at the cost of my stamina.

And not long after, the cloud wolf managed to take the gun and toss it away.

What I had left with me for protection was the sabre. I brought it out, and the wolf and I stared down and circled each other.

Deciding to end the staring contest, we both lunged at each other.

The cloud wolf tried swiping at my head, but I dodged it at the last moment. I then swung the sword at the wolf's backside. A deep cut appeared where I struck.

With a yelp and whimper, the now bleeding wolf decided to retreat and ran out of the den. With blood gushing out of its injury, I can still go after it by following its trail. But with some of my stamina gone, I decided to leave with the one I killed.

(Flashback over)

While observing the now nearly three-metre tall cloud wolf with battle scars over it, I can't help but be annoyed.

The bastard of a wolf kept coming back for more. I mean, even I got tired of him. And he kept getting stronger.

Even the kids he had were abnormally strong. They are probably at least five times stronger than those of Skypiea.

After I got a lot stronger, I kept knocking him out with one hit, but he still came back to fight me. I didn't bother to kill him because I just bought sea king meat from the shop.

I think it's time I ended the annoyance.

"LAH HAH HAH HAH! It is time I end this eight-year fight mutt. It seems you haven't learnt your lesson." I say in a booming voice.

"Grhhh.."

"Come and meet your end mutt!" I said before we both dashed at each other.

The bastard tried to strike me with its front paw, but I dodged it easily.

With me now behind the wolf, an idea popped up in my head. Hardening my right hand with armament haki, I punched the wolf where I injured him in our first fight.

He flew back a few feet away but got back up with shaky legs.

Watching it trying to get a hold of the situation, I decided to end the fight with a bang.

Wrapping my hardened fist with lightning, I formed the lightning into a round shape like Whitebeard.

I leapt a few metres into the sky, cocked my arm backwards and shot down with speed.

My right arm met the top of the head of the wolf. A booming sound was heard as lightning crackled around its body and smoke gathering.

Leaping backwards and then looking forward, my eyes were met with the burnt body of the now-dead cloud wolf.

"LAH HAH HAH! Guess I won't be spending System Points on food for tonight." I say in in joyful laughter.

I picked up the corpse of the wolf and took it to the front door, and left it there. Need to get wood to cook it.

(Three hours later)

"Food does taste good after victory." I say while using a piece of his bone as a toothpick.

"Senka dear, show me my status." I tell her.
