Ch 17 : New Pokemon Card
In Cocoyasi Village, Nami drove Nate's small sailing boat to approach the shore.
She just parked the small sailing boat when she suddenly had this bad feeling inside of her.
"Not good!"
Nami's first reaction was to run to her secret base to check the 50 million belis she had saved up before. Her current saving was still a bit far from the promised 100 million belis. But since she was nearby, Nami decided to stop in the village for a while and check the condition of the villager.
Nami ran back to the village desperately.
The moment she arrived at the village, she saw Injured villagers lay everywhere, and Genzo was beaten up to the point where bloods came out from his mouth.
"What are you guys doing! Didn't you promise me not to attack our village?" Nami rushed over and roared.
People from the Arlong pirates group saw Nami coming back and said with a wicked smile.
"Well well.. Isn't it our navigator Nami?"
"Don't you know that Arlong has been looking for you for several days!"
"Hahaha who told you to go missing for so long without any news." These Arlong pirates said as they mocked Nami.
Even if Nami is a cadre of the Arlong Pirates, they all know that Nami is just a tool, and all she could do was obey their bidding.
The villager all rejoiced when they saw Nami was back. Even though they all had an agreement that they would never sell Nami, they still felt relieved as they no longer needed to take the beating anymore.
Soon, Nami was taken by the Arlong pirates to the Arlong park, leaving all the injured villagers behind.
At the same time, a small ship was heading toward the direction of Cocoyasi Village.
It was the ship that Nate had booked before.
Inside the ship, Nate was looking in the direction of Arlong park with a solemn expression.
With his current strength, there should be no problem for him to handle Arlong. However, he still wanted to take some precautions.
' System, I want to recharge three million belis.'
After deducting all the living costs and some savings, Nate currently had about four million belis to spare.
Three million was used now, and Nate wanted to save the last one million in case of an urgent situation.

He indeed got some good items like potion and experience ticket, but Nate still didn't think that it was worth the three million belis he had spent.

It was a good special ability in Pokemon, but when ut translated into One piece world, it became some kind of a cheat.

Just this ability alone was enough to make Nate excited. He didn't care anymore and quickly poured all his current experience cards into the Banette.
Quickly, Banette's level was raised to Lv. 13, and now Nate was more than ready to face off against Arlong.
He put the Banette in the equipped Pokemon card in his panel, and Nate felt that his strength had raised to another level.
