Meeting the Rebels and Fraulein

The next morning came and Alex and the gang proceeded to eat breakfast at the inn. The food tasted awful when it's compared to Braga's food that they ate yesterday.

Before they went to the fighting arena, they first went to investigate how big Don Papito's influence in this place really is. And from what they found, Don Papito basically has the whole island in his control. His men totaled at least five thousand people or maybe more hiding as the people they were asking had varied answers. They also found out that there was a rebellion being formed by the people who were oppressed by Don Papito. Alex wanted to meet the leader of this rebellion as they had the same goal and would probably work together to get rid of Don Papito. So Alex went inside of a pub and listened to the customers' conversations.

"Did you know that Don Papito's men have been looking around for someone called the 'Devil Child' in Falgus Haven?" said a random customer

"Yeah his reward is a million berries just to bring her to him. We could live good lives if we had that kind of money. Sadly we don't know who the 'Devil Child' is or where he or she is staying at."

Robin who heard this conversation was trembling as she was scared that Don Papito was looking for her. Alex saw her trembling just placed his hand on her shoulder and reassured her that everything was fine. While they listened in to other conversations, Alex saw two hooded figures that went out of the bar then told Robin and Franco to wait for him in the pub as he decided to follow the hooded figures discreetly and found out that the both of them were going in an abandoned building in the edge of Falgus Haven. He then walked back to the pub and said "I have found the rebels' hideout and meeting place. We will go there now and talk to the leader to plan Don Papito's end."

"Alright sounds like a plan. Lead the way captain." said Franco while Robin just nodded.

They went to the building and was met by guards telling them to stop and state their purpose of coming here. Alex said, "I have to talk to your leader." one of the guards asked, "What do you want to talk about with our leader?"

Alex calmly said, "I am afraid I can't tell you that."

The guard asked again this time with the gun pointed at Alex "I'll ask again, what do you want to talk about with our leader?"

Alex just repeated and said, "I am afraid I can't tell you that."

The guard was about to shoot him but then he heard the leader's voice that said "Chico, let them in they mean no harm."

"Tch, you're lucky the leader saved your ass you else you would've been on the floor bleeding right now." said Chico as they led them in the building

Franco, who couldn't watch as his captain was being disrespected, was about to punch him but was stopped when Alex told him "Stand down Franco, he was just being cautious because Don Papito's men are everywhere and he was just making sure that we were not his subordinates." Franco just nodded and followed Alex's order.

When they got into the room, they saw a forty-year-old man sitting on a chair while looking at some papers that looked like their plans for the upcoming rebellion. The man just looked at them calmly and said "Welcome to our hideout. My name is Jeff and I am the leader of the rebels. So, who are you people and what did you want to talk about with me?"

"It's about Don Papito and how we are going to bring him down and get rid of him and his men for good." said Alex as he got straight to the point.

Jeff was surprised because he didn't expect that the kid in front of him also wanted to get rid of Don Papito. 'I guess Don Papito just can't stop making enemies.' Jeff laughed in his heart as he is getting closer to ending the reign of Don Papito and to avenge his wife and daughter who were taken away from him by Don Papito and were r**** and killed in front of him as form of payment when he didn't pay his taxes on time. He still remembered the mocking face of Don Papito as he enjoyed toying with his wife and daughter as they both were trying to resist. 'Don Papito you bastard, you will get what's coming to you soon.' thought Jeff.

They talked about their plans of getting rid of Don Papito for a couple of hours then they shook hands as they finalized their cooperation.

After getting out of the abandoned building, Alex and the gang went to the fighting arena as they wanted to see Fraulein and recruit him to their crew.

As they walked for a few minutes towards the cage-like structure, Alex noticed some men following them and immediately knew it was Don Papito's men who were currently looking for Robin's location. 'If they do anything to harm Robin, Don Papito will feel my wrath.' thought Alex as he whispered to Robin to keep close to him as it was not safe. Robin blushed a bit and quickly composed herself as she understood his order because she was currently Don Papito's target.

After walking for a few more minutes they finally reached the cage-like structure as they went in to watch the main event which was Fraulein and a tall and muscular dude who was holding a big sword. The match started as they just saw Fraulein use a bo staff to hit the man's hand and make him drop the sword and quickly hit the man's face with the bo staff repeatedly and proceeded to knock him out and was declared the winner. Alex saw Fraulein's speed and was very impressed since probably no one, except him and Franco, could beat him in terms of speed in the East Blue. This made him want to recruit him more so that he could train him to become a weapons master as he thinks that Fraulein is a once-in-a-generation weapon genius that could quickly master any weapon that he wants. He thinks like this because of the fact that Fraulein used nunchucks yesterday at a high level but today, used a bo staff with the same proficiency. So he followed Fraulein and saw him outside the arena counting his earnings after the fight. Alex called out to him "Oy Fraulein!"

"What do you want?" asked Fraulein

"Join my crew Fraulein." Alex said as he looked at Fraulein expecting an answer.

"Not happening." said Fraulein bluntly

"Why? Is it because of your deal with Don Papito? Well hate to break it to you bud, but Don Papito never intended to let you free because in five days he is going to kill you." said Alex to the red-haired boy.

"Don't joke with me. Don Papito and I had a deal." said Fraulein as he didn't believe the boy in front of him.

"Yeah I know, and he's planning to break it." said Alex again to Fraulein.

Fraulein was enraged after hearing this and said, "Oy what's your name?"

"My name is Alex, the blue haired guy is Franco, and the girl is Robin." said Alex as he introduced themselves to Fraulein.

"I'll join your crew and give you my life if you get rid of Don Papito. If you can't do it, then don't come try to recruit me anymore." said Fraulein while looking into Alex's golden eyes

"Sure I was already planning on doing that. By the way what's your dream Fraulein?" asked Alex

"I want to be a master of any weapons as tribute to my parents who were weapon masters but were killed while we were fleeing from our town when it was raided by slave traders." said Fraulein as he clenched his fists as he remembered his parents getting killed by slave traders.

"As you are part of my family and my crew now Fraulein, I will help you become the best weapon master in the world. And help you avenge your parents by destroying the slavery system." declared Alex with a smile.
