6 Chapter 6: Killing a Traitor

Byakuya's unexpectedly strong display of power caught everyone off guard, but the plan had reached this point, and Harry had to continue regardless. 

He had no way out now. Harry's voice rang out hoarsely, "Vaughan, I didn't want to take action, but you forced me to!

"Forced you? What did I do? I didn't even say a damn word, and you blame everything on me, isn't that a bit unreasonable?" 

"Also, you all say it's my arrangement?" 

"What a load of crap! I didn't know Byakuya's strength was this strong!"

Vaughan was completely baffled, still in a state of confusion.

Byakuya found Vaughan's confusion amusing, but he didn't intend to explain anything. Let everyone think that he was Vaughan's hidden trump card. 

That way, even if he showed his full strength, people would only suspect Vaughan and no one would question Byakuya's involvement in the matter. 

In other words, Vaughan was going to take the fall for this! 

At this point, Harry understood that if he didn't act now, he would be doomed. So, he ordered his subordinates, 

"Attack! Take out Byakuya first!"

Then, he shouted towards the shore, 

"Blood Wolf, I've made my move as agreed, now it's your turn!" 

Hearing Harry's urgent tone and seeing the chaos on the shore, Blood Wolf's face twisted into a bloodthirsty grin. "Boys, get ready to reap the fruits of victory!"

Almost every pirate on Blood Wolf's ship had blood on their hands from multiple kills. 

Hearing that they could finally start killing again, they became excited, their eyes bloodshot. 

"Rest assured, boss!" "It's been days since I killed someone, and I'm itching for it!" 

"Killing people, that's what we're best at!"

The vice-captain by Blood Wolf's side asked in a low voice, "Boss, are we going to kill all the marines?" 

Blood Wolf replied calmly, "First, take out the marines on Vaughan's side, then we'll deal with the ones on Harry's side." 

"But... boss, didn't you agree with Harry?"

Blood Wolf glanced at the vice-captain, disdainful. 

"We're pirates, do we have to uphold agreements with the Marines? Let's do something big. Once we take out both sides, the entire Squall Island will be ours!" 

The vice-captain nodded without saying more, then began arranging the crew to launch the attack.

On the shore, under Harry's command, hundreds of marine soldiers aimed their guns at Byakuya in the center. 

The sight of hundreds of dark gun barrels was enough to make anyone feel apprehensive. 

However, Byakuya remained unmoved, showing no sign of panic on his youthful face.

This scene made Vaughan feel a pang of bitterness, but he also felt worried about Byakuya's safety. 

Vaughan spoke up to stop Harry, 

"Harry, don't keep making mistakes. If you're willing to join forces with me against the pirates, then... we can pretend this never happened."

When Harry heard Vaughan willing to let him go, he first froze, then sneered, 

"Vaughan, do you think you've won?" 

"I didn't expect Byakuya to be this strong, you've hidden it well." 

Vaughan, hearing this, glared at Harry without hiding his irritation, thinking to himself, "I've hidden it? Screw that! Who's hiding from whom?"

"But I have nearly three hundred soldiers on my side, plus myself, taking out Byakuya shouldn't be a problem." 

"With the Blood Wolf Pirates on my side, there's no way I'll lose. You're still as stupid as ever to suggest surrendering!"

Seeing Harry's determination and looking at Byakuya, who was heavily surrounded, Vaughan knew he couldn't wait any longer. 

Byakuya had to be rescued before the Blood Wolf Pirates landed. 

Otherwise, facing attacks from both sides would be impossible to withstand. 

"Get ready to act. We must find a way to rescue Byakuya before the Blood Wolf Pirates attack."

Frank and the others stopped joking around, their expressions becoming serious. 

Harry quickly backed away, creating distance between himself and Byakuya, and sneered, 

"Kid, you're strong, even... stronger than me, but no matter how strong you are, you can't beat over three hundred of us." Harry bellowed, "Attack!"

Over three hundred soldiers simultaneously fired at Byakuya, the dark gun muzzles emitting dazzling flashes of light, and countless bullets surged toward Byakuya like a torrent. 

But to everyone's astonishment, Byakuya was as agile as a snake, dodging past countless bullets.

"Monster!" 

"He's not human, he can't be Byakuya!" 

The soldiers who had betrayed hadn't seen anything like this before, each one petrified by Byakuya's display. 

In what seemed like the blink of an eye, Byakuya appeared in front of Harry, sneering, 

"Numbers mean nothing in the face of absolute strength."

Harry, seeing the strength Byakuya before him, was greatly alarmed, but his years of combat experience prompted a response. 

Harry drew his sword from his waist and swung it down heavily, gritting his teeth, "Kid, are you asking for death?"

Byakuya raised his left hand and grabbed the sword directly, taunting, 

"Why do I feel like the one looking for death is you?" Harry's muscles bulged as he tried to pull the sword from Byakuya's hand. 

But it seemed like the sword had taken root in Byakuya's hand; no matter how hard Harry tried, it wouldn't budge, leaving Harry red-faced with frustration.

"Do you want it?" Byakuya's face was full of smiles. 

With a sudden force from his left hand, he directly crushed the sword body, and sharp fragments flew in the air. 

With the sword suddenly shattered, Harry didn't have time to react, and his body fell backward. "Then I'll give it back to you!"

Byakuya selected a larger piece from the airborne fragments with his right hand, muscles tense, and threw it directly at Harry. 

The shard was as fast as a flash of light, piercing through Harry's body in an instant, leaving a crater nearly a meter deep when it hit the ground. 

The ground trembled slightly, and smoke filled the air.

When the smoke cleared, Harry lay lifeless on the ground. 

A wound the size of a bowl opened in his chest where his heart was, his eyes wide open, a look of fear mixed with incomprehension on his face. 

Perhaps until the moment of death, he still couldn't understand why, with Byakuya's strength, he had endured three years of humiliation without revealing his true power.

Until today, when he chose to unleash his strength. Unfortunately, no one would answer this question for him. 

But perhaps it was a good thing for Harry.

If he knew that Byakuya had indeed been a waste for the past three years, without any strength, it would be a different story.

It just so happened that he successfully activated his power today, gaining immense strength. 

Yet, he chose to join forces with the Blood Wolf Pirates to go after Vaughan at this moment, running straight into Byakuya's trap. 

It was just like a stroke of luck! 

If he knew the truth, Harry might have performed resurrection right then and there, coming back to life from sheer anger.
