16 Chapter 16: Krieg Pirates

The burly pirate said obsequiously.

Gin took the chest and casually tossed it to one of his subordinates behind him, saying indifferently, 

"I hope you all can understand your identity. You're not pirate captains now, but members of the Krieg Pirates. I don't want incidents like this to happen again!"

"Got it! We understand!" 

The pirates present had witnessed Gin's formidable strength and, coupled with his warning words, they didn't dare to cause any more trouble. 

Suddenly, a pirate asked, "Um... Captain Gin, is there something significant happening since Admiral Krieg has called us all back this time?"

Gin nodded, "This small East Blue can no longer contain our Krieg Pirates. We must prepare to venture into the Grand Line." 

The pirates were first stunned at his words, then their faces couldn't hide their overwhelming joy. The Grand Line was the path walked by the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.

Being able to journey to the Grand Line meant they were one step closer to ONE PIECE. It's the ultimate treasure that all pirates dream of! 

Gin saw the excited looks on the pirates and nodded with satisfaction. 

At this critical moment, it's necessary to inspire the pirates under his command and awaken their determination.

Otherwise, how could they survive in a place like the Grand Line? Suddenly, Gin noticed one pirate whose expression didn't match the current atmosphere.

"Countless riches and beauties are waiting for us to conquer!" Most of the pirates present were swept up in excitement by the news of heading to the Grand Line. 

Gin, also somewhat displeased, said, "Gerard, what do you want to say?"

Gerard stammered, "Captain Gin, I recently heard that someone has been asking about the whereabouts of our Krieg Pirates, seemingly intending to attack us." 

"Oh?" A faint smirk appeared on Gin's poker face, making him even more intimidating.

"Who dares to be so fearless? Who dares to mess with our Krieg Pirates!" The pirates grew even more agitated, cursing loudly, 

"We're the biggest pirate crew in the East Blue!" 

"Captain Krieg is destined to become the Pirate King. Who dares to provoke us?" 

"Even if it's the Marines, they'd back off once they see us."

Gerard tremblingly uttered a few words, "It seems to be... Marine Ensign, Byakuya."
