After a few mishaps, he gains the power of Vector Manipulation. What will he do? Toon In To Find out! ___________________________________________________ The synopsis sucks but the story is pretty good, if you don't read your definitely missing out, haha suckers. ___________________________________________________ While I have watched One Piece, I practically skipped the first 400 eps and it's been around a year, so cut me some slack if I make mistakes. I will try my best to put down the correct information but when I make mistakes, I am open to constructive criticism! Now enjoy the story guys! Peace, Sincerely, Luxuriant

Science/Training

Listen, this chapter might be a bit confusing for some, if you have any questions, simply comment it! And I will reply promptly to the best of my ability!

Also, don't worry, this is probably one of the few chapters that are only focused on science stuff like this, so if you are bored, there shouldn't be too much!

And if you still don't understand, don't worry, the science shouldn't hinder the story in any way.

And for those who are smarter then me, correct me on things I might be incorrect on!

That's all,

Please Enjoy~,

"Time to begin your training!" Vegapunk grinned widely.

..

..

..

"Ahem, excuse that outburst, do you have any questions before we start?" Vegapunk coughed awkwardly and looked down at Nyx who was silently sitting on the ground waiting for him to start.

"Nah you can go ahead and teach." Nyx playfully saluted with a smile as he simply relaxed and waited for the training to start.

"Okay! I've created multiple hypotheses on how your ability works, now listen up."

"In a sense, you can control all elements and can even create ones, as long as the vectors are provided. But let's start with one of the most important, atoms, what are atoms? Atoms are basically the building blocks of life, even though we can't see them with the blind eye, it's still there, even your body is majorly made of atoms at over 99%. Each atom has a nucleus at the center with an electron, proton, and neutron rotating around it. They each have their own property, an electron is simply a negative charge, a proton is a positive charge and a neutron is a neutral charge or in more simple terms, it has no charge. Here's a journal, write down this stuff."

Once Vegapunk finished, he was about to toss an extra journal he had toward Nyx but noticed Nyx was staring at him while blinking weirdly.

"Did you not understand something?" Vegapunk questioned with a raised brow.

"Haha, of course I understood." If one looked closely, beads of sweat could be seen nervously dripping down on Nyx's neck as he awkwardly chuckled.

Vegapunk tossed the journal to Nyx, who in turn started writing down what he learned.

After a few minutes and Nyx finished, Vegapunk continued to speak.

"Other important things you can manipulate are velocity, force, kinetic energy, electromagnetic fields, photons or in a more simple term light energy, etc. But I have to ask how you manipulated the elements earlier. What calculations did you do?" Vegapunk suddenly asked, remembering the sphere of elements that Nyx created when they first met.

"Calculations?" Nyx tilted his head to the side confusedly.

"You have to calculate the exact vectors of an object in order to efficiently use it. For example, imagine you shoot a gun, the magnitude would be the force the bullet is going at, so how powerful it is and the direction would be where you pointed the gun at. But in order for you to really understand Vector Manipulation, you need to know the Pounds Per Square Inch the bullet went at and for the direction you can use degrees or just a simple compass."

"How the hell did you even manipulate it then?" Vegapunk questioned exasperatedly once noticing that Nyx never even calculated.

"Well it just felt right, I can see these small dim white particles that are barely noticeable that I believe to be oxygen, I can also see small dim blue particles that I think are nitrogen. And I simply condense these particles, so that they can become a high pressured air. As for how I manipulated the other elements, I of course did my research and learned what atoms/particles their made of and simply manipulated those instinctively. But to be honest, I can barely control other elements outside of air, the reason being is because it's probably the easiest one since air is practically everywhere and its particles are quite simple. That sphere was probably the best I could do in terms of the other elements. " Nyx explained.

"Amazing! It seems your devil fruit allows you to see these particles, so oxygen is simply white particles and nitrogen is blue particles. Your devil fruit must give you an immense affinity with vector manipulation. But what I don't understand is how your human brain is even capable of calculating such things instinctively." Vegapunk excitedly spoke as he wrote stuff down in his journal, before looking at Nyx confusedly.

"Maybe it has to do with something about me being a dragon also?" Nyx guessed with a shrug.

Vegapunk's eyes widened.

"Of course! I don't know how you're also a dragon but if that is the case, then this all makes sense. Your dragon physiology would obviously be much more powerful than a human, so calculating things such as this should be easier!" Vegapunk continued to write frantically in his journal as he spoke.

"But I'm in my human form." Nyx stated with apparent confusion.

"Human form? I suppose your indicating that you got two abilities from your devil fruit, a dragon and Vector Manipulation!? You are full of surprises young Nyx! Ahem, well as for your statement, either your brain is improved because of the devil fruit, or maybe your merging with your dragon physiology, and over time you won't have a hybrid form that most Zoan users would have, your human form would simply equate to the power of your hybrid form. But I would have to do some tests in order to find that out." Vegapunk's face went through a flurry of emotions as he quickly spoke.

Nyx nodded in understanding.

"It seems you have an innate talent, plus if you add the dragon physiology, it's as if you ate a god-given fruit. While you are talented, it's far from your full potential! I'll make sure to teach you about the calculations and in-depth on how your powers work, that's when you'll start to unlock your real potential!" Vegapunk was practically beaming with excited-ness as he put his journal away and looked at the sitting Nyx who was simply carefreely smiling as he watched the doctor.

"Hmm since you told me your leaving in a few weeks, we're gonna start training immediately! Now get in a lotus position and close your eyes!" Vegapunk exclaimed as he crossed his arms and watched Nyx get in position.

Once Nyx was in a lotus position and closed his eyes, Vegapunk spoke.

"I believe that the reason you could see those particles was that your dragon mind was subconsciously assisting you, we'll have to do tests later on your body to start figuring it out but I'm pretty sure I'm right, and that your dragon physiology is merging with your human body, which is something I haven't heard of but it should still work."

Nyx patiently waited for Vegapunk's instructions.

"Okay as for what I want you to do should be pretty easy with your talent and physiology! I want you to focus on those particles you saw, try to zoom in on one of them, and understand its properties, for example, how many electrons/protons it has, first try Nitrogen." Vegapunk finished as he watches Nyx scrunch his brows.

Nyx himself could only see black but he could small white and blue particles that were constantly moving, going far too fast for him to even grab.

There seemed to be millions, to billions, and much more air particles all around them.

'Everything is completely black other than these dim white/blue particles that are zooming around everywhere..' Nyx thought inwardly.

"Now from my past experiments, air particles are said to be moving over 300 meters per second, but I'm sure with your ability you should be able to adapt properly. In order to make it easier, focus on only one particle and continuously follow it as if your life was depending on it and possibly, this might be able to integrate with your Observation Haki, allowing it to even become more powerful." Vegapunk explained.

Nyx continued to furrow his brows until he started to use his Basic Level Observation Haki which made it much easier for him.

And as Vegapunk said, it was as if he was slowly integrating his Observation Haki with his Vector Manipulation as he could slowly start to see.

Even though Nyx shouldn't be able to see because of his eyes being closed, it was as if the darkness was slowly fading away, as the surrounding detail became more detailed and livid.

Nyx himself didn't notice this, as eventually, he was 100% focused on the one blue Nitrogen particle without losing it amongst the billions of other Oxygen/Nitrogen particles.

"Once you are able to understand what that Nitrogen particle is, your done." Vegapunk suddenly stated.

Nyx slowly got up and opened his eyes before furrowing them immediately in discomfort.

Vegapunk narrowed his eyes at that reaction before nodding in understanding.

"It seems my theory was right, if you actually understand the particles and know what they are, you simply start seeing all of the Nitrogen particles since you now understand them. It seemed those dim particles you were seeing before were just a small percentage of air particles. Now that you're really seeing the real deal number of Nitrogen particles that's in the atmosphere it seems to be a burden on your eyes."

Nyx himself could only nod inwardly as his eye's were visibly irritated as all he could see were rapidly moving blue particles, speeding everywhere.

And if one looked very close, it seemed his golden eyes were slowly changing colors which went unnoticed by them both.

"Y-you could have at least warned me, haha." Nyx bitterly chuckled as he tried to fix the issue.

"Haha,I wasn't sure though, but for now, I want you to close your eyes, and just use your Observation Haki, which is a solution for now, you can also use this." Vegapunk awkwardly scratched his neck as he pulled a bandage wrap from his lab pocket.

"I'm practically Gojo." Nyx muttered once he wrapped the bandage around his eyes.

"Gojo?" Vegapunk looked at Nyx confusedly.

Nyx ignored Vegapunk as he realized he could practically see even though he had a blindfold on, it seems his Observation Haki and Vector Manipulation did indeed integrate, but certain things were still completely blurred out.

Which Nyx assumed to be the Oxygen that he has yet to understand so that he can also use it to see.

Since the air is made up of 78% of Nitrogen and 21% of Oxygen, he was still missing that 21% of vision on certain things that are made up of Oxygen, there was a 1% Argon that was the 3rd and final air particle but Nyx didn't believe it to be important until the doctor mentioned it and it was such a small amount so he didn't care much either.

"So what's next doc?" Nyx questioned as he adjusted to his new vision which gave him a 360-degree view around him with an unknown amount of distance since he hasn't fully tested it yet.

"Before we start anything, tell me the number of electrons and protons Nitrogen has." Vegapunk suddenly questioned with narrowed eyes.

"7 electrons and 7 protons. Cool... It seems your right, once I really focus on a particle and understand it, the information automatically enters my head and helps me get a better understanding." Nyx replied quite easily as he started to get a much better understanding of his powers.

Vegapunk nodded in approval before continuing.

"Next will be Oxygen, so you can gain your full vision, I can guess some things are still blurry. But I will warn you, it will become hard to see with your physical eye's once you keep identifying these particles, it seems that's a weakness of your devil fruit." Vegapunk ended his words in a grave tone.

"Nah it's fine, it's too late anyways. But knowing you, you must have an idea on how to at least improve it, so my weakness becomes a bit weaker." Nyx shrugged and lightly laughed at his last words.

"Of course I have a plan! Now get into the lotus position." Vegapunk smiled at the confidence of the young man as he ordered him to position.

Nyx simply got back into the lotus position and started doing the same procedure for Nitrogen, it took him a few minutes longer since Oxygen was harder to find because it was less than Nitrogen but eventually he finished.

"*Whistle* I got better vision than I did before." Nyx whistled as he looked around as if he could see with his eyes.

After a few minutes of Nyx getting comfortable with his new sight, Vegapunk didn't give him any rest.

"Next is-"

"Let me choose!" Nyx raised his hand excitedly as if he was a child.

"Hmm? Why the hell not!? It just means depending on what you choose, I'll have to simply adjust your training regimen." Since Vegapunk was in a good mood, he easily agreed,

"Let's see...

I wanna learn how to create lightning!" Nyx exclaimed with a smirk.
