14 Chapter 14: To Alabasta!

Jane brought out their ship in her storage ability to the port. The three new members was shocked, they didn't expect that someone like Jane who seems to be a harmless girl would be able to have a convenient devil fruit.

'I thought she was just a navigator and a cook?' Ronald thought.

"Alright let's board the ship" Renz jumped and the others followed suit. "Our next destination is Alabasta. I estimated that there will be a week interval between Albasta and Mock Town, so I will give you all a training manual" Renz give the training menu to rest which is about training haki, though the girls said that they will only train the Kenbonshoku Haki as the Busoshoku Haki seems to be about reaching the peak of human physique and they thought that they will be like those girls with muscle, so they decides no to train on it. I didn't force them anymore and just change it to kami-e and soru for their own protection. Though, they wouldn't be as strong to the rest of the boys but as they develop their fruit abilities, they will not be a burden when it comes to fighting and my combatant will just increase two birds in one stone.

I give the training menu to the three boys about training the Busoshoku Haki and Kenbonshoku Haki cause they might not have the last Haki and I don't know how to acquire that through training, it must be a life and death situation and they said that these two will suffice for now they will see if they will also be able to acquire it. Ronald started training and didn't slack of, he wants to be as strong as possible in order to protect the crew especially Rosette, Brook also started his training but the most happy of three was Van Augur as he figured out that the reason I was able to shot his bullets without looking was because of Kenbonshoku Haki. I also added the "Soru" and also "Geppo" as it will be useful when escaping.

I went again to the girls as I give them an idea on how to make their devil fruits develop in a way it can be useful to fight enemies. Perona just said that she already have something in mind to develop her devil fruit, so I didn't bother her and went to the rest of the girls. I first went to Rosette who's training Kenbonshoku Haki as a tied in rope gallon with water inside in the ceiling hit her head. I just smiled at the scen and called her out. "Rosette, come pause your training for a while" Renz said "Ah, it's you Captain, hmm okay" said Rosette as she take of her blind fold.

"What is it Captain?" asked Rosette.

"I would like to give you an idea on how to use your devil fruit in a more preferrable way that can be use for fighting" Renz said to Rosette.

Rosette have a bright expression on her as she was excited that she can be of help in fighting if she develop her devil fruit but he knew that the Captain just want her to have her own protection so they will not worry and she's happy that the Captain cared for her, she didn't want to make the same mistake again where she can't do anything but to only watch her uncle sacrifice for her. So, she didn't hesitate and agreed to Renz.

"Okay, first show me your devil fruit ability" Renz said to Rosette.

Rosette brought her right hand, she turned her thumb and index finger to a scissors, the middle finger was turned to a syringe, the ring finger was turnes to scalpel and the pinky was turned to a spool of thread that ties a needle.

I was shocked that she can turn each one of the finger to a medical tool but Renz hold his shock back and asked "Can you switch the position of each tools?"

"Yes, I can" Rosette said as she showed the different position of the medical tools in her finger, the syringe was on her thumb, the thread on index finger, the scissors on middle and ring finger and the scalpel on the pinky "I can also apply this ability to my hand finger" she said as she showed her left hand fingers was turned into medical tools while her right hand fingers turned back to normal.

"I see so you can only focus it on one side of your hand finger, is there anything else?" asked Renz.

"Um, I have, but it's a little strange, I can turn my arm to a medical tool but the drawback is i can only use one medical tool as I only have one arm on each side and can only focus it on one arm only, it's either left or right" Rosette said as she turned her arm to a syringe showing a sharp edge of the needle and shot the liquid inside the syringe which seems like a paralyzing liquid, the shot reached 100 meters.

Renz was taken aback 'this is what I'm looking for' thought Renz to himself as he think that the devil fruit was kind of OP if develep to a certain extent 'So that's why Doflamingo won't let Rosette away, he also saw the potential of this devil fruit'.

"But can you shoot a poison on that syringe?" Renz asked expectantly.

"This, I don't think I can use poison on it as it's purpose is to cure" said Rosette.

Renz understand but all in all he was happy though it can't use poison but it still can be used for fightting long range and short range.

"I see that's good enough, well this ability of yours can be used for fighting in long range and melee combat, you can paralyze an enemy using it. So based on you explanation you can use any tool on your arm even the spool of thread and needle?"

"Yes, I can!" said Rosette cheerfully as she turned her arm into a spool of thread tied in a needle. She manipulated the needle tied in a spool of thread until it reached 100 meters and lost control of the needle.

"I see, so your control domain as of now reaches 200 meters in diameter. With this skill you can be the same as Doflamingo who uses thread, though yours was a weak version, but it can be develop if you train, you can also use the other tools for combat but I recommed you to focus on the syringe and the thread and when you master it, I also recommend you to also train in Busoshoku Haki to enhance the hardness of the thread, I will find a method that will not make your body bulky" Renz said in a happy tone.

"Hai Captain! Thank you" Rosette said cheerfully, she was excited to develop her devil fruit but Renz said that she manage her time for the other training in order not to neglect them.

Renz then walked to the other girl which was Jane who was also practicing Kenbonshoku Haki. Renz just stopped the incoming gallon and said to Jane to stop her training for a while as he wants to talk about how to develop her fruit ability. Jane just nodded and smile at Renz.

Renz already thought of how to develop her devil fruit ability. So they test first her devil fruit.

"The domain of your fruit abiility reaches 100 meters in diameter, in this case you can only use it on short range. But it's good enough you can gather a lot of heavy inanimate objects on your storage ability and even swords to make them fall above the enemy. I advise you to also train 'Geppo' to have a more impact when you release the stored inanimate objects, you can also use it in defense as you can deflect an incoming attack if you summon an object, but if there will be an opponent who might be able to break through it, so I advise you to only use those with high durability object to be used as a shield" Renz said with a smile on his face and patted her head.

"Hai Captain! Thank you!" said Jane with a beautiful smile on her face.

Renz looked at his other crewmates he just smiled as he saw that everyone was willing to become strong, he was satisfied for now "Though we can take care of ourselves for now but when the higher ups focused on us it will be difficult to protect them, we will use this opportunity to become strong and shock the world! KEKEKEK!" Renz said thought as he let out a devilish laugh, he observed his crewmates and didn't bother the three men because they have their own fightingstyle.
