Just then, a Marine from behind suddenly yelled at them.

"Hey! Don't come any closer!"

The sudden reprimand caused all the Marines present to instinctively turn their heads and look back.

A man and a woman had captured their attention.

And those two individuals were none other than Carnes and Albedo!

Unfazed by the Marine's warning, Carnes continued to stride leisurely toward the auction house.

"Watch and see! Once I take care of these Marines, I'll deal with him as well!" Kid clenched his fists and stated, refusing to be outdone.

However, for Kid and his companions' remarks, Carnes paid no heed to them.

He didn't care in the least about being called the strongest by them.

At present, he only cared about one thing: Rayleigh, who was being auctioned.

"Stop them!" At that very moment, a Marine officer waved his hand and issued an order.

In an instant, over half of the Marines turned their guns and aimed at Carnes and Albedo!
