251 Chapter 251

With a wave of his hand, Carnes enveloped Nagato in a halo. Empowered by this newfound energy, Nagato experienced a rejuvenating sensation, as though he had been granted a second chance at life.

"Why are you helping me?" Nagato inquired, weariness evident in his voice, though gratitude lingered beneath.

"I don't help people. I just believe this battle will be more intriguing if it concludes this way," Carnes replied, a smile playing on his lips.

With their combined efforts, the Reincarnation Technique was at last perfected.

On the battlefield, numerous fallen ninjas began to rise. Initially perplexed, they soon comprehended the turn of events.

Naruto observed it all with tears welling up in his eyes. "You did it, Nagato."

"No, we did it," Nagato affirmed with a smile, though his pallid complexion betrayed the toll the technique had taken.

Slowly collapsing, Nagato's life force depleted. Naruto and Carnes hurried over, providing support.

"You paid a hefty price," Naruto remarked emotionally.

"This is the price I'm willing to pay for what I believe in," Nagato weakly responded.

"Your life has a price too," Naruto urgently insisted.

"Life will inevitably end, but ideas will always be passed on. So now, it's your turn, Naruto," Nagato's voice faded.

"I will, Nagato. I'll keep your belief alive," Naruto asserted with determination.

Nagato smiled, closing his eyes peacefully. His face bore no regret or pain, only a profound sense of contentment.

Observing the scene, Carnes smiled slightly. "What an interesting end."

"No, this isn't the end," Naruto declared. "It's a new beginning."

After Nagato's departure, Naruto felt an unprecedented sense of responsibility.

He understood he had to press on, forging a path devoid of pain and hatred, not just for himself but for those like Nagato who had lost hope.

Carnes turned around. "It seems you've found your path."

"I've been searching, and now I have more reasons," Naruto responded.

Seated on a massive stone, Naruto gazed at the fallen Nagato.

Though Nagato was gone, he had bestowed upon them a second chance at life, a chance they couldn't afford to squander.

Naruto silently swore to uphold that opportunity for peace.

Turning to Carnes, he asked, "Would you like to return to Konoha with me?"

Carnes scrutinized Naruto before questioning, "Why do you think I would want to go with you?"

"Because, like Nagato, I see in you someone searching for true meaning. You stood by him in the crucial moments for peace.

Konoha might be a place where you can find answers," Naruto responded earnestly.

Carnes wore a pensive expression. "Alright, I'll return to Konoha with you, but I hope to witness more than just empty peace slogans."

"Of course," Naruto smiled.

After some time, Naruto and Carnes finally crossed the border of Konoha Village. Despite the recent tumultuous battle, Konoha brimmed with vitality and hope.

"So, this is the place you've been striving to protect?" Carnes asked, slightly perplexed.

"Not just this village, but everyone here," Naruto replied as he led Carnes through the bustling markets and streets.

Soon after their arrival, they found themselves standing in front of the Hokage's office.

Naruto took the lead in officially presenting the outcomes of the war and Carnes' departure to Kakashi.

Meanwhile, Iruka navigated through the desolate remains of the ninja school, surrounded by crumbling walls that whispered tales of a bygone era.

He paused, inhaling deeply, absorbing the solemn atmosphere. Then, with determination, he began the task of sifting through the dilapidated classrooms and scattered books.

A young ninja approached him, offering assistance. "Iruka-sensei , do you need help?" he inquired.

Appreciative but firm, Iruka replied, "Thank you, but there are things I believe I should handle myself."

Acknowledging Iruka's decision, the young ninja respectfully withdrew. As Iruka immersed himself in the cleanup, memories from years past flooded his mind.

'I know you may be hesitant, but I hope you'll consider becoming Naruto's class teacher,' the Third Hokage had suggested.

Iruka hesitated, reflecting on the painful memories of his parents' demise. "You know about my past, Kakashi. I fear I won't be able to do justice for that kid."

The Third Hokage smiled knowingly. "I understand, but perhaps getting to know him better will help alleviate your inner concerns."
