"Swish, swish, swish!"

"Bang, bang, bang!"

"Boom..."

Despite their injuries, Sengoku and Garp persisted in their unrelenting attacks against Carnes.

Both figures hurtled toward Carnes with a speed invisible to the naked eye.

The outcome, however, was all too predictable.

Upon reaching their target, with swift approach, the force of the huge impact sent them flying through the air.

Yet, their determination remained unwavering. No matter the intensity of the blows they endured, they promptly regained their footing, swiftly rising to their feets, each time, without fail and charged once more towards Carnes.

"Roar!"

Covered in blood, Garp bellowed as he soared high into the air:

"Galaxy Impact!"

With his mightiest Haki enveloping his fist, he unleashed a punch powered by nearly every ounce of strength in his body.

Before the fist even made contact with Carnes, but the shockwave caused due to its sheer force rent the very air asunder, causing the ground to collapse beneath its power.

"Boom..."

"Boom..."

The resounding roar that echoed through Marineford came to an abrupt halt.

Garp descended like a falling bomb.

He resembled a human cannonball.

"Boom..."

Marineford shook violently, massive cracks spread everywhere disgorging and surging the seawater high into the sky.

Yet, the result stood disappointing. Garp's full-powered strike had been effortlessly intercepted by Carnes.

And so, the current scenario grew increasingly dire.

Carnes held Garp's fist in an unyielding grip, negating any possibility of maintaining a safe distance between them.

"Shua!"

"Swish!"

Just as Garp readied himself to launch a counterattack with his free hand, Carnes raised his own hand, descending upon Garp with tremendous force, slamming him into the ground.

This action was repeated dozens of times, each repetition like a relentless drumbeat, until, during the final instance, culminated in Carnes summoning a black rod with his left hand.

Instantly, he thrust the weapon with merciless intent towards Garp's abdomen.

Caught off-guard, Garp had no means to evade, his sole recourse was to employ his Armament Haki in defense against the blow.

"Puff!"

"Argh!!"

Unexpectedly to his astonishment, the moment the black rod made contact with Garp, his Armament Haki inexplicably dissipated.

With a slight controlled force, Carnes drove the black rod deep into Garp's body.

"Puff!"

Blood spewed forth from his Garp's mouth.

"Garp!!!"

Sengoku, still racing relentlessly toward the scene, bore witness to this harrowing spectacle. His eyes contracted in horror.

His next actions were decisive as he promptly launched an barrage of offensive attacks against Carnes.

"Boom!"

Another detonation reverberated, sending Sengoku backwards, flying through the air.

Carnes the turned his gaze upon the gravely wounded Garp, his voice a in an eerily calm tone,

"It's good that you've persisted for so many years, otherwise... perhaps my next objective would have been locating your grandson and giving him the most gruesome death."

"Ah!!!"

Upon hearing Carnes' words, Garp immediately struggled and tried to get up, but ultimately, Carnes managed to pin him down onto the ground.

"It's nothing but a impotent rage that you're showing now. I'll send you on your way."

Just as Carnes raised his hand, a black rod materialized in his hand once again. However, before he could act, a figure swiftly intervened dashing towards him with great determination.

"Boom!!"

"Boom!!"

""Crash!!""

A resounding explosion echoed through the air.

Carnes remained motionless, as the black stick's interception allowed him a clear view of the approaching person's face, who had intervened.

Standing before him was a towering, muscular man with flowing golden hair.

Carnes' eyes dimmed slightly as he recognized the man.

This was Douglas Bullet, also known as the Demon Heir. He had once been a member of the Roger Pirates.

What perplexed Carnes was that in the original storyline, Bullet had not made an appearance during the Marineford War.

In the past era, such deviations were understandable – likely the result of the butterfly effect he had set into motion.

However, in this new era, he had not caused significant disturbances, and the expected ripple effect shouldn't had been this substantial.

"Boom!"

Sengoku's shockwave surged again this time toward both Carnes and Bullet.

Simultaneously, both Carnes and Bullet vanished from the sight in an instant, leaving injured Garp to face the attack from Sengoku.

"Boom..."

A thunderous impact resonated...

Meanwhile, Garp suffered even more wretchedly, bearing the brunt of the attack from his old partner.

Unlike before, Carnes did not land onto the ground this time. Instead, he hovered mid-air, as his gaze fixed on Bullet down below.

"Carnes?"

Bullet locked his eyes at Carnes, uttering those words.

"I must admit, I'm quite surprised. Even the former members of the Roger Pirates have joined the battle."

"So, it's truly you, Carnes. Your appearance matches the wanted posters I've come across. I never thought you'd still be alive," Bullet's voice resonated deeply.

Truth be told, Bullet had never crossed paths with Carnes during the old days.

His knowledge of Carnes stemmed from Roger's mentions, wherein the former Pirate King had praised Carnes highly, he held Carnes in high regard.

Driven by curiosity, Bullet had stumbled upon Carnes' outdated bounty poster at some point, etching Carnes' image deep into his memory.

Although years have passed, the appearance in Bullet's memory had become blurred, but the moment he saw Carnes, the blurred appearance became very clear.

Carnes, in this moment, resembled the vivid image from Bullet's recollections.

On another front, Blackbeard, who was hiding in a hidden place, observed the ongoing turmoil in Marineford with astonishment, he was utterly taken aback.

"Hey, hey, hey.....What the hell is going on!!!" Burgess looked at the scene around him, and his expression became extremely serious.

"The figure standing... the one standing there with a big hole in his chest is... Is that Whitebeard, one of the Four Emperors?"

"What in the world transpired in Marineford? Who could have left Whitebeard in this state, inflicting such injuries?"

"Hey... Those aren't the pressing questions right now. Did you not see it just now?

That flying guy beat the Marine hero Garp to the point where he couldn't fight back.

"This guy... seems to be the person that bastard was looking for just now."

"Damn it, even Whitebeard didn't manage to kill this guy."

"I don't know for sure, but based on what we saw, it doesn't seem so. I believe Whitebeard should have been killed by Marines, not this guy."

"Through the passing years, the sea has borne witness to numerous events. Why do these waters now teem with unfamiliar faces?"

"Captain, what's the plan? What should we do?"

Blackbeard's face turned grave as the current circumstances perplexed him greatly.

The current state of Marineford surpassed his previous estimations, posing a danger several-fold greater.

"Ze ha ha ha ha..."

He burst into sudden laughter.

The crew cast suspicious glances his way.

"I remember it now... I've undoubtedly heard the name Carnes many years ago in the past."

"Where might you have even heard it?" inquired Burgess.

"From Pop's, long ago. Though it was about a dead person, so I did not attach much importance to it."

"Ze ha ha ha ha. I didn't expect this guy to still be alive, no wonder Bullet is so interested in him."

"So, what are we going to do now??"

"We shall adapt and improvise as circumstances dictate. Carnes, my comrades, is a force not to be trifled with, especially by us."

As he spoke, Blackbeard's gaze fixed upon Whitebeard's lifeless form, his voice taking on a sly tone.

"However, for the sake of Pops, I'm willing to take a gamble and wager it all."

"Hahahaha, are we finally about to make our move?" A voice from the sidelines quivered with excitement.

"Deploying our all crew is unnecessary. Doing so will only draw unwanted attention to us. A handful of members cooperating with me shall suffice."

To be honest, Blackbeard had no intention of tangling and crossing paths with individuals of Bullet and Carnes' caliber.

Once the roster of members who would help him was settled, Blackbeard took the lead, flashing a grin as he spoke. "Very well, my comrades, the time to take action has arrived."

But...

Just as Blackbeard advanced a step, he abruptly retreated, his expression now gravely serious.

"What's the matter Captain?"

Confused expressions dawned upon the members who were still in the process of marching.

"This isn't good, ahh such troublesome individuals."

"Are we discovered?" one of members asked.

"No another faction is here to join the fight," Blackbeard murmured, his voice hushed.

"Who could it be?"

Curiosity rippled through the gathered crew.

"Red Force! To be exact... the Red Hair Pirates!" Van Augur proclaimed.

"Red Hair Pirates?"

Whispers rippled through the assembly, mirroring the very sentiment etched onto Blackbeard's countenance.

.....

I want to explain certain points above:

Firstly, about the Red Hair Pirates' timely arrival, they came here faster than in original manga because in this fanfic it happened due to Carnes, as Shanks didn't have to waste much time in confronting Kaido, because Kaido was already thinking about Carnes and sweating bullets.

Secondly, regarding Luffy's entrance as shown in the original manga, some changes happened.

The reasons for Luffy's absence right now is due to Carnes' changes made by Carnes and the butterfly effect he caused.
