'Who cares about that?' While turning his gaze toward Zatanna, Dan thought, 'Should I try it?'
'Even if it's untrue, it will not cost me anything, right?'
"So Zatanna, the future mistress of magic and Sorceress Supreme, and the daughter of renowned magician Zatara," Zatanna looked at him after hearing him say that title, "Just complete the promise so we can move forward with it."

"You can ask our questions now, Robin," Dan said in a relaxed manner while sitting in a chair in front of the young justice team (plus Zatanna).
Now they all have promised never to harm him. He can relax in front of them without fear of suddenly getting attacked unless they attack him regardless of the promise, then what happens next is not on him as by breaking the promise, they all will become his slaves (not that they know about this part, and he is not planning to tell them).
Right now, they were all standing on Dan's ship's deck while awkwardly looking at him since he just took a seat for himself without offering one to any of them.
"Eh? Why are you all looking at me like that? Just sit down and ask your questions," Dan said with a hint of irritation. "I have other things to do that are much more important than this."
"Yeah, throwing people in the water is much more important, right?" Artemis sarcastically said.
She and most of the team was still on a slight edge against him after seeing him trying to commit murder by throwing that man in the water.
"Well, if they are devil fruit users, then sure, it's much more important," Dan replied quickly before chuckling at his own joke.
Artemis and a few others were taken aback by this quick reply while Kaldur asked, "What happened to that person?"
Dan looked at him with a weird expression on his face. "You are standing in front of a guy who could tell you why you are here and how to go back. And you choose to ask about the person you only saw once?"
"Are you this foolish?"
But seeing the unwavering look on his face, Dan sighed, "Fine, you really want to know?"
"He is dead, either by drowning or being eaten by a sea king, but definitely dead," Dan said calmly, like he was not talking about killing a person in front of DC superheroes, which are known to be the noisiest ones regarding killing.
And it could be seen in the expression of every one of them, as before they just thought he was someone who just tried throwing a person in the sea. However, now that they know he murdered someone in cold blood, their impression of him has deteriorated to the lowest.
The word "Why?" came silently out of M'gann's mouth before she covered her mouth with her hand in shock.
But, thanks to his almost superhuman physique, Dan still heard it clearly as he turned his head toward her and replied with a straight face, "Because he disturbed my sleep while trying to assassinate me."
"???"
"???"
"You are not serious, right?" Zatanna couldn't help but ask after hearing such an absurd statement.
From how he is speaking, he didn't kill him because he tried to assassinate him but because he disturbed his sleep. Which is somehow disturbing and hot for her at the same time.
Dan replied with a serious look on his face, "Every word is true. I'm not a liar (which is a lie)."
After that, he turned toward Robin and said, "So, now that you all have judged me, can we please move on to the question, so I can throw you off my ship?"
Robin looked at him and said in a disdainful voice, "You don't even feel a bit of remorse for killing him. Don't you even have a bit of consciousness left inside?"
With an unimpressed look on his face, Dan replied, "Are you done?"
"You really don't..."
"Because I'm not taking therapy sessions from a guy that will later intentionally sleep with Harley Quinn of all people," Dan said to shut him up. At the same time, causal drooping a boom on them.
"What?" Three voices said at the same time after hearing this.
One of them was Wally, who was now looking at his stunned best friend with an astonished look on his face.
Another was Artemis, who lived in Gotham and knew how crazy she was. So, the thought that Robin would sleep with the crazy hot girlfriend of his mentor's greatest enemy was pretty shocking.
And the last one was Batgirl or Barbara. She looked at Dick with a mirage of emotions, but the most prominent one was jealousy.
Meanwhile, Dick snapped out of his shock and shouted angrily, "What the hell are you saying? Why would I ever sleep with Harley even if she is damn hot?" But in flow, he said something that didn't help his situation at all.
Dick's face ashed as he realized what he had just said. Still, before he could make a fool of himself, his best friend Wally came to his defense.
"He is not saying anything wrong. She is hot, and there is no denying it," he said in a calm voice before a sinister smile came on his face as he continued, "and Robin has a slight crush on her which he told me sometime before."
And any hope of Robin proving Dan's statement false goes down the drain after Wally says he has a crush on her.
Still, Robin isn't someone that would take this lying down, so he tries to say something, but Dan cuts him off again, "Are we done confirming Dick's love life with a crazy bitch? So can we get back to the question and put these little mind games to rest?"
'But you are the one playing mind games with us,' Dick, Kaldur, Zatanna, M'gann, and Artemis thought while looking at him speechlessly.
They were all smart enough to get what he was trying to accomplish all along. It's not like others weren't smart enough to see it. Instead, they were either distressed by the situation or simply didn't care enough to look at the finer details.
But even after knowing this, they can't do anything as Dan leads the conversation at his own pace. Whenever they try to gain some control over the conversation, he throws some crazy curve balls like the assassin thing or Dick's future love life with a crazy criminal.
Still, they also understood that he was only able to do this because he knew about them and their possible future.
But just knowing this does not provide them with any advantage. Instead, it told them the uncomfortable truth that they had already lost this game.
"What is this place called?" Zatanna asked after seeing no one else was speaking.
Immediately, Dan replied, "In the East Blue Sea."
"East Blue Sea?" Zatanna muttered in confusion before saying in an irradiated tone, "Can't you simply answer a simple question?"
"Then you have to be more specific with your question, Zee," Dan replied, using her famous nickname.
"Fine, what is this world called, and why are we here?"
"In simple words, this world is a pirate/marine world, just like your world is a Hero/villain world," Dan said before a serious look appeared as he said his following words, "And why were you all brought into this world is a trick question."
"I am sure most of you will not handle this well. So I am asking you all again, do you still want me to answer this?"
