19 Ch19
As their ship almost reached the other ship, all the DC heroes gathered on the deck while looking at their target.
While observing them calmly, a handsome brown-haired boy of their age stood on the deck of his ship.
While Robin wants to say something, he finds his words stuck in his mouth.
"Is it a sidekick club or something?"
There is an immediate increase in hostility towards him. Clearly, he had just spoken a taboo word in front of them.
But despite that, Dan didn't cower in fear as the calm look remained on his face, no matter how scary the scowl on Superboy's face looked.
"Who are you? How do you know us?"
"We all know that we are not in our world, so how do you know us?"
While others were glaring at him, Babara, aka the Batgirl, asked the most crucial questions in the current circumstances.
"Oh, I thought Robin would be the one to ask that question," Dan said with a smile while looking at Babara in her skin-tight costume.
Robin again wants to say something, but Dan's following words make those words stuck in his mouth.
"But then again, you both trained under Bruce, so not much of a difference, right?"
TWANG
Suddenly a green arrow flew toward Dan's head, but before it could reach its target, Dan's tail moved on its own and smacked that arrow down.
Dan turned his head toward Artemis, who had just shot an arrow at him. His smile was long absent, and an irritated expression took its place as he stared down at her. "That's not very heroic behavior, Miss Artemis Crock, but then again, given your family, it's kinda expected, right?"
"Yeah, don't say things you don't know about," Wally, the Kid Flash, said. "You don't even know her, so how can you..."
But before he could complete his words, Dan cut him off by saying, "But that's the thing Wally West, I know her just as I know you and others here." before looking at Kaldur, "Well, like most of you, I don't have a single clue who the fuck is this guy."
"So, that's why I'm kinda disappointed that she would attack me again without any solid reason."
"Are you done?" Robin asked seriously. "You have already proven your point. Now can you tell us where we are?"
Every one of them can understand what he is trying to do. Robin can't help but admit that it works pretty well.
They all can understand that their dirty little secret is known to him, like he has read them all somewhere.
The smile on Dan's face returned with full force as if he had been waiting for this question the whole time.
"Sure, sure, I can answer some of your questions if you promise never to attack me?"
"So, we have an accord?" Dan asked with a sunny smile.
Hearing such a strange request, they were all confused with his request and how he fares it before Wally replied, "Sure, I promise. Now tell me?"
In response, Dan simply nodded before looking at the other DC heroes, waiting for their promises. Still, to his disappointment, no other member followed after him.
"Come on, tell me?" Wally asked after seeing that Dan wasn't saying anything.
But Dan clearly has different concerns than him. Instead of answering his question, he asks in a confused tone while pointing toward the rest of his teammates, "What about them? Aren't they also going to take that promise?"
Wally simply shrugs at his words, "It's their choice. I have no say in that."
"Then it's my choice to not let any of you on my ship and answer any of your questions." Dan also replied like he was answering his question while repeating the exact same gestures as Wally.
"But just so you all know, I am the only one who can answer any of your questions in this world. So as Wally said, it's your choice."
After saying that, Dan simply waved his hand toward their ship. Immediately, their ship's front mast cracked in the middle before breaking into two.
Fly swatter is an extremely weak quirk in its original universe. Its attack power will entirely depend on your physical strength.
In a world where its user can only raise his strength to peak human at best, it would automatically become a trash quirk in a superpower society.
But in a world like One Piece, where almost everyone could reach the strength to destroy a building with enough training and will. This trash quirk suddenly became a very prominent quirk.
After that, without saying anything, Dan moves toward the wheel of his ship.

"What? Why would he break our mast?" Wally asked before seeing Dan's ship slowly moving away from them.
"Oh, so that's why."
"We have to stop him," Robin said before taking his grappling gun from his utility belt and shooting toward his ship's deck.
Then batgirl followed his action with her own grappling gun, but they were knocked into the ocean before either of their hooks could reach your ship.
"Why are we even trying to chase him when we could get those answers from anyone else in this world?" Wally asked in slight confusion.
He could understand if they were chasing him to save that person's life, but he knew that Robin and others were doing it for answers.
Everyone else looks at Wally like an idiot before Kaldur somewhat calmly replies, "Because almost everyone here thinks that he was telling the truth, and I don't think I have to tell you the consequences of losing our only source of information about our situation, right Kid?"
While stirring their ship to chase after Dan's ship, which is also becoming almost impossible as their ship is only moving at half the speed from before because of the broken front mast.
"At this rate, we would never be able to catch up to him," Conner muttered as the distance between their ships continued to slowly increase.
"Maybe we should accept his offer from before," M'gann said with a hint of nervousness in her words. She doesn't even know if that offer still stands.
"We can't make a promise with someone we have no idea about. What if he has the power to enforce that promise whenever he wants?" Batgirl replied, clearly showing a paranoia level that would match her teacher.
"Wait, wait, so why didn't you stop me from making that promise?" Wally asked with a hint of anger in his voice.
"Because someone has to test the water with him. So, I just thought doing the test would not be a problem for you." Batgirl replied calmly like she had not done anything wrong.
"What about Robin?" Wally asked his best friend, hoping to get a different answer.
But he was again disappointed as Robin simply tried to sugarcoat his reply, "Same here, Kid. But don't worry, I only let you take it because I knew it was a harmless promise not to attack him."
With a shrug, Zatanna said, "There is no promise with any entity that is simple or harmless."
"You make it sound like you have a lot of knowledge about it?" Batgirl said sarcastically.
Hearing her words, Zatanna was stunned for a moment before thinking, 'Did her brain stops working when it comes to me? Because this question is dumb as fuck.'
Everyone recognized that she was an extremely gifted magician despite her age. So asking this type of dumb question is a clear insult to her magic knowledge. The only reason she is not replying to her is to not make a scene right now.
But looking at her again, Zatanna saw the smug look on her face, like she had won something after not getting a reply from her.
'Does jealousy really make someone so dumb?' Was the only thought that came to her mind after looking at her.
"Can you two please not do it right now?" Artemis said with a sigh before turning toward Robin, "Don't you have a megaphone or something like that in your utility belt?"
"I have, but he had made it clear that the only way he would answer our questions is when we all take his offer, and it is a team decision that I cannot make myself."
