Enraged

2 hours later...

Despite searching for hours, Ray had yet to spot Queen, however the damage was already done. Dozens of local villages were all destroyed, very few civilians left alive, those fortunate enough were hanging by a thread as they were disfigured.

This was all as a direct result of Queen's search for a devil fruit. Ray's mood had dampened, he had captured or killed many vile pirates throughout these past few years but he hadn't seen destruction at this scale till now.

'Wait till I see you, you fat fucking dinosaur, I'll quit the marines myself If I don't get to beat your head in' thought Ray, he was increasing getting pissed off as he kept searching the island. Just as he was about to head off, his Den Den Mushi started to ring...

Purupuru...

Reaching into his pocket he quickly picked it up, instantly he heard panic and genuine fear through the call. "Sir, w-we need assistance immediately, half the group's already be-"

Gacha

Without being able to hear the end of his subordinates sentence, the call was cut off. Ray was truly furious, he had guessed what happened to his subordinates, an unfortunate fate fell upon them.

Unwillingly to waste any time Ray raced towards the direction where they were meant to search, the veins on his forehead were enlarging due to his anger. 'Shit, Shit, fucking SHIT!' Using Tekkai and Haki to strengthen his lower body as well as Soru, Ray made haste.

10 mins later..

A gruelling sight awaited Ray, in a ravaged town or what was left of it at least, there lied his subordinates. All dead, their limbs missing, hell Ray couldn't even recognise who they were.

His knuckles whitened as his palms slowly bled through the sheer strength in which he was clenching his fists, unable to contain his rage any longer Ray used his Observation Haki and it finally harvested results, he perceived a large figure to the East of Hyokaido. 

Using all his might, Ray launched towards Queen, the ground shattered and web like cracks could be seen as Ray didn't bother controlling his strength. 

Ray blamed the deaths of his subordinates upon himself, his incompetence left them in danger which results in their agonizing end.

'I'm sorry, everyone' thought Ray as his eyes were unable to conceal his sadness and regret that he felt.

Contrasting to Ray's mood, in the distance, a large figure could be seen calmly searching the island despite his body being covered in blood.

He was a massive, round-figured man with light skin. At a towering 612cm tall, his head was hunched, undistinguished from his neck due to its plumpness, with a small face. He was wearing a large, very high-waisted overalls that uniformly reach just below the chest which are thickly, vertically striped black-and-white. 

'Where is this damn fruit, I've been searching for damn near a full day' complained Queen, but as he was about to continue his search he sensed a presence rapidly approaching.

'Someone's heading over here, quite an unpleasant pressure he's releasing' thought Queen as he put up his guard.

Not even a moment later, Queen saw a lean figure smash onto the ice from above like a rocket causing cracks in the ice below him, Ray had arrived.

Queen thoroughly inspected Ray, assuming he might be a vice-admiral as those below that rank would never dare engage in a fight with him, still, Queen looked completely unbothered.

As Ray glanced at Queen, his rage erupted, seeing Queen's unbothered expression had truly pissed Ray off. He was once again reminded of reality, that pirates were the scum of this world, a few exceptions wouldn't overthrow the all the mayhem they caused all over the world.

At that moment, something laying dormant in Ray's body was unleashed...

Zzzzt

An overpowering wave of Conqueror's Haki from Ray washed over Queen, causing him sweat buckets.

"Colour of S-supreme King?!?! How could a lowly marine like you possess it!" Queen was absolutely shocked, he hadn't expected this at all, his face contorted as he was unable to control his expression.

Conqueror's Haki, a rare form of Haki that allows the user to exert their own willpower over others. Unlike the other two types of Haki, this type cannot be awakened through training and only one in a million people are born with this ability. 

It is said that whoever possesses this type of Haki has the qualities of a king, and thus are known as Supreme Rulers.

Having studied under Garp for many years, Ray had learnt what he truly lacked was Garp's fearlessness.

Previously Ray had been too calculated, but that wasn't the case anymore. In the fight against Shanks 4 years ago, Ray completely threw that cautiousness away and as he witnessed first hand the cruelty that pirates could inflict upon the innocent these past few years, Ray finally realised his purpose and dream in this world.

Initially, he was just attempting to survive and adapt to this world, however, as he gained strength, he was at last allowed to dream. 

It was to rid the world of scum. Pirates, World government and even marines included. He would aim to reach the peak and cleanse the world. Whether that was in a decade or even after his death, it mattered little, Ray would leave a mark upon this world.

Contrary to Queen, Ray hadn't realised he himself had just unleashed Conqueror's Haki, he was far too enraged by the death of his comrades. The only thing in his mind was to destroy Queen.

"Who do yo-" before Queen could conclude his sentence, Ray appeared in front of Queen, unable to perceive Ray's overwhelming speed, Queen couldn't even react.

What followed shortly after was a punch directed onto Queen's left cheek, unable to protect himself in time with Armament Haki.

Queen was directly smashed onto the ground by Ray, creating a large crater beneath their feet as the behemoth was knock down. The sheer power of Ray's punch caused a loud boom to be heard within the area.

That wasn't all, Ray proceeded to bombard Queen with an onslaught of deadly attacks as Queen was laid flatly on his back. Any of those attacks would deal serious damage to a Vice-admiral. To finalise his attack, Ray placed both his fists right in front of Queen's face. 

By launching a devastating shock wave from his knuckles, Ray unleashed a killer technique.

Rokuogan

What followed was a large blast as Queen's head was further smashed onto the ground, blood spraying from his orifices as Rokuogan dealt internal damage. Ray, still carrying an infuriated expression took a few step backs.

Despite a Zoan fruit users natural durability, an attack of this calibre was bound to inflict a serious injury upon them.
