One Piece: My New Home

A simple wish was granted overnight, transporting a young fellow named Ray from Earth into the world of One Piece. Through the lens of the Straw Hats, the One Piece world looked fun, however, Ray knew different. Strength ruled over all and unlike the novels he had read, Ray wasn't granted any special abilities as he crossed over. How could a regular man possibly cope and thrive in this world? Note: No system bullshit, MC does have prior knowledge of the One Piece world but he won't be going for the Rumble Rumble fruit like every other Fanfic.

Boredom

After my little scuffle with the monkeys, I went deeper into the forest with caution, while trying my best to be aware of how long I had been exploring. I looked up to the sky, notedly paying attention to the sun slowly going down. 'Fuck it, no way am I anywhere near satisfied beating two monkeys' I thought and made up my mind quickly, risking getting back to my little hideout later at night.

Shortly after, I heard ruffling bushes of some sort nearby, I cautiously made my way to the sound and would you believe it. 'A boar, and a big fucker at that, the animals in this world really are bigger than Earth, huh'. I crouched next to a tree nearby, calming my state of mind.

'Now, boars usually just charge at you if they're upset, hmm, what to do, ah I know'. I moved in front of the tree and whistled, gaining the attention of the boar as it shifted it's attention in my direction. Guess what? The fucker's charging right at me.

"Come on, you fat pig, come get some" I shouted aggressively at the boar, desperately hiding my nervousness. As the boar got closer and closer, my mind raced with multiple thoughts of running but I wasn't gonna be some pussy.

When the boar got within reaching distance and lowered its head ready to knock the day lights out of me, I quickly rolled to my right.

The boar rammed straight into the tree, causing a massive dent as well as splinters of wood flying everywhere. Luckily the boar's head got partially stuck in the tree.

'Thank god this fucker is dumber than bricks, if that hit me, man no doubt my arms would be broken'. I quickly got back up on feet and jumped onto the boar's back, wrapping my arms around its beefy neck.

Having no weapon this was my only option, suffocating the boar slowly, it tried it's best flinging me off its back yet I wasn't letting go, like a baby sucking on it's mother's breast.

After moments of struggle, the boar stopped moving, now just to make sure I didn't let go for 10 mins. I got off its back and laid flatly on the ground, arms exhausted as the adrenaline ran out. 'Strangling a boar with all your might for 10 mins really takes it out of you, haha, now I finally got some fucking meat'.

After dragging the boar back to my hideout, I was in a little dilemma. 'How, the fuck do I skin this guy? I've got no sharp tools or any prior experience and not to mention it's hide seems a little tough to rip with just my bare hands.'

I sat down exhausted after an eventful day, both physically and mentally, being in state of caution all day isn't an easy task after all. 'You know what, I'll keep it for now as a trophy, my first true hurdle in this world, not those little cunts I encountered before, I'll throw it away once it starts to rot anyway'. After that, I went straight to sleep.

A few weeks later...

Now, after a few more encounters of boars, I realised my progress in my physical development was rapidly increasing, putting myself at risk and forcing my muscles to work at full capacity was a massive factor, I also increased the intensity of workouts using heavier weights, so pretty much just big fucking rocks I found laying around.

My overall strength had improved massively, I was no doubt past the physical limit on Earth. How did I figure this? Well, at one point I tried punching the boars, and sure enough they winced in pain despite their humongous size, I felt just strangling them would hinder my overall fighting ability/development in the long run.

My techniques however, oh boy, Mike Tyson might just shoot himself seeing my form as I punched. I tried my best to improve but without a mentor and visual feedback it was hard to point out my flaws myself.

However, there was a major problem. I had been alone for about 3 months now, with no human interaction, spending most of my days just training and mindlessly looking at the sky. Truthfully I was happy at first as I was progressing fast, but there was still a massive void to fill in my heart.

A man who spent decades on Earth with all its technology would struggle to adapt to a world like One Piece, especially by themselves. Not to mention I missed my family, we had out disagreements sure but at the end of the day, I loved them. I hope they didn't lose themselves in misery after I was transported here.

'There was frankly nothing to do apart from train on this fucking island, however, no point sitting here crying about it like some pussy.' I quickly got my motivation back.

'I'll train like a bitch till my sanity can no longer handle being alone and then just risk going further into the forest.' Honestly, I had no clue if there was people here, I haven't explored much at all since my fear of death has trapped me in this small area but that would change soon.

3 months later...

Oh, I sure trained like some dog all right, after a few weeks those boars were no fun, fuckers went down in a few hits. Although, I had an encounter with a tiger recently and man could that bastard fight, haha, I was pissing my self but at the same time, after months of boredom, it was refreshing and exciting.

We fought for hours, an animal's instinct's were no joke man, it eyed me as a dangerous foe for a few minutes before striking.

I had gashes in my arms and legs which were healing but nothing major that a good nights sleep couldn't fix right?

As for the tiger? Fucker's dead, I gouged it's eyes out before attempting to damage it's body, it panicked after that and managed to hit me a few times out of sheer luck but it still went down. My punches at full strength to it's body were no joke at this point, I was sure it's organs were internally bleeding and it eventually had died of organ failure.

Now to comment on my progress, as for my overall fighting ability I had no way of measuring my limits. I had fought just wild animals at this point and had met no notable characters in One Piece who I could compare to, but I could slap the life of the previous me half a year ago in a second.

My body was slim still, most likely due to the lack of protein as I hadn't figured out how to make a fire yet and cook meat, should've watched Bear Grylls, ah such a dumbass I am.

Apart from that, I grew a few inches, about 5'11 on a good day. Seems that this body is still growing, either due to my rapid increasing in strength or it just might be this body's age. I was well into my 20's on Earth, perhaps this body had just hit puberty, honestly who knows.

Gazing at the sky, I closed my eyes, reflecting on my experiences the past few months, I was no longer afraid, believing I had gained enough strength to protect myself.

It was about time I delved deeper into the forest. Brimming with confidence I lowered by head, to the same direction I had went back and forth previously. However, this time I ain't coming back...

Initially, I was planning on doing a few chapters but since I got a lot of free time. I may as well write more, didn't expect people to click on a fanfic with a chapter lol. Expect a lot of chapters in the next few days.

Leave comments on what I could improve, my writing is still a little rusty
