[Checking quest progression.....

Beginners quest- hard work is the only way to success

Status: completed

Reward: unlock Rokushiki manual]

[Attention Host, a new section called techniques is added in the system tab below Information and Stats.

You can learn any technique that you have been awarded through the system in that section.

For example, if you want to learn Rokushiki, go to the techniques section in the tab and select Rokushiki. It will show all the information regarding the techniques and also show you how to do it.

Note: the system is only here to guide you, learning it depends on your capabilities.

That will be all. Good Luck Host.]

[ Quest update: Master Rokushiki-

Master all Rokushiki techniques

Time Limit: none

Reward: unlock basic Haki techniques manual]

Finally, I can learn Rokushiki. It might help in tricky situations. Eitherway to unlock Haki manuals I have to master them. But Grandpa mustn't find out about this or I should find an excuse for how I learned it. Next time when Grandpa visits I should sneak up on the ship, and see if there's any Rokushiki manual there. Now let's focus on learning Rokushiki. I searched through the system and found there was a new tab called Techniques. I entered it and selected Rokushiki. There was a detailed description of Rokushiki techniques under which there were seven options- Geppo, Tekkai, Rankyaku, Soru, Shigan, Kami-e and Rokuogan. I decided to learn Geppo first. So, I selected Geppo. There was a detailed description of Geppo with a tutorial video.

[Geppo allows users to push themselves off the air itself with superhumanly strong kicks, allowing them to travel through and remain in midair for an extended period. It effectively resembles flight.]

I decided to watch the tutorial video where an unknown man was seen teaching Geppo step by step.

.....

I decided to follow the steps and as expected I miserably failed. 1 time, 2 times, 3 times....after several failed attempts I decided to call it a day.

.....

After several days of failed attempts on the 11th day, I managed to perform it one time before falling to the ground head first.

"Ouch! I finally managed to do it one time. Let's continue training, so I can perfectly use it."

.....

A month later,

"I finally did it"

I managed to keep myself afloat in the air.

I was taking in the view of the surroundings from the air when Luffy's shout entered my ears.

"Mori! How are you flying? Have you become a bird?" Luffy shouted in disbelief.

Instantly a tick mark appeared on my forehead. " this idiot's imagination is also idiotic" I mumbled to myself.

Thud!!

I landed on the ground and said to Luffy with a grin " Do you want to learn how to do it as well?"

" Yeah! I want it. I want it. Teach me, Mori." Luffy shouted in excitement.

" I can teach you but you have to promise something," I stated.

" What is it?" Luffy asked while tilting his head.

" Grandpa mustn't find out about it," I replied with a serious tone in my voice.

Luffy nodded, " I wouldn't tell Grandpa."

"Ok then, let's start"

So I explained to Luffy about Geppo and showed him a few more times. While I started practicing Shigan.

...

....

After 9 months I managed to learn all Rokushiki techniques except Rokuogan. While Luffy managed to Learn Soru, Geppo, and Shigan. Considering he is still 2 years younger than me, he can be considered a genius. I am also a monster considering I managed to learn all the techniques at the age of 8. There's still one month left before I turn 9.

I also managed to sneak into Grandpa's ship while he visited 3 months ago. I found a Rokushiki guide inside a desk in the Cabin room.

I am pretty sure Bogard spotted me using his observation haki but he didn't say nor did he inform Grandpa.

....

While lying on the bed I started checking my system

My stats all grew along with my training in Rokushiki. Only my IQ didn't grow much. But having 1.5 times a normal human's IQ is also insane.

I am trying to learn Rokuogan but didn't succeed thus far. I think I need a little push to finally succeed. I need to put myself in a life-and-death situation.

I should go to the deeper parts of the jungle to fight the animals there.

....

After finishing my breakfast the next morning I started running off to deeper parts of the jungle. While I left Luffy behind to practice Rokushiki. With his strength, he wouldn't have any opponents in this part of the jungle. So, no need to worry about him.

I was walking through the jungle while whistling. In my way, I also dealt with some weaker animals but they posed no challenge. Suddenly while I was deep in thought I heard a weak roar.

....

"What the..?", I couldn't figure out which animal this roar belonged to. I haven't heard any roar similar to this. Curiosity got the better of me so I decided to take a look. Thinking there shouldn't be any harm taking a look. Since there shouldn't be any animal I couldn't run away from on this island. I slowly started walking towards the location where that roar came from.

After a few minutes of walking, I stood in front of an open area. Where under a tree lays a creature that shook me to my core.

"Why is this creature here! It shouldn't be in East Blue! No I haven't seen this creature a single time while watching One Piece. There were only rumours about it".
