Ace and Sabo

First Person P.O.V

I was sitting across the counter table of Partys bar while drinking a glass of juice, which Makino prepared for me. Fitz was also with me. I was pondering about Fitz's origins when suddenly a system notification popped up before my eyes.

"So, you can do that. You should've told me earlier." I exclaimed to nobody in particular.

In exchange, I got no response from the system. Fitz was looking at me while tilting his head, seemingly thinking I had gone mad.

"Ok, let's check. System scan Fitz" I mumbled.

"So, Fitz can shapeshift! That's a relief. Otherwise, it would have been a headache. Maybe other dragons are hiding between human society by shape-shifting into humans. No wonder they became a myth. I initially thought I had to find a devil fruit for him to shape-shift. That saves me a lot of trouble." I mumbled to myself.

I have to make a hideout for Fitz in the forest. I cannot keep him here. Otherwise, the villagers will freak out. I should also start teaching him human language. He is pretty intelligent, so I am pretty sure he can learn it.

I should find Ace and Sabo, they can help me look after Fitz. But convincing them would be a headache, specially with Ace's daddy issues. But I guess I have no choice.

After thinking for a while I grabbed Luffy and Fitz, then started heading towards Mt. Colubo.

"I guess Sabo's hideout should be near the Grey terminal." I mumbled to myself.

"Mori, where are we going?" Luffy asked while picking his nose.

"Ah! We are going to make new friends." I stated while grinning.

" New friends? That's awesome! I can't wait to meet them. Sh sh sh sh" Luffy shouted with enthusiasm.

" Prrrrr!" Fitz also chimed in.

We were walking through the jungle near the Gray Terminal when I heard a man shouting at someone.

....

" Hey, kid! Give me back my money! Otherwise, I will kill you." a man shouted while running after a kid.

....

I told Luffy and Fitz to stay quiet and follow me.

A few minutes later I spotted them. Sabo was running away with a bag in his hands while three bandits were chasing him. But suddenly Sabo tripped on a rock nearby and fell. The bandits cought up to him and surrounded him by every corner with no escape route left.

...

" Kid, we told you to hand over the money. You didn't listen, now prepare to die." One of the bandits stated with a vicious grin, while licking the edge of his knife with his tongue.

....

Sabo got up and tried to run away but got kicked in the belly by one of the bandits, which sent him back to the ground.

" Kid, there's no way for you to escape from us. Now die!" One of the bandits shouted while charging at Sabo.

"I don't think so!" I shouted while suddenly moving in front of the bandit while punching him in the face, which sent him flying.

The bandit got up from the ground while coughing up his broken teeth.

"Are you with him, kid? I admit you got quite the guts there to punch me in the face. But unfortunately, you will die with him today." Said the bandit while gnashing his teeth.

"We will see." I replied with a nonchalant look.

...

....

After a few minutes, all of the bandits were lying on the ground unconscious, beaten black and blue. Meanwhile, Luffy and Fitz had come out of the bushes and stood near me.

I looked back and saw, Sabo was trying to get away quietly.

"Kid! Don't you think it's quite ungrateful to leave quietly after being saved by someone" I exclaimed with a smirk.

Sabo looked back and spoke while stuttering, "W-what? What do you want from me?"

" Do you live near here" I asked knowingly.

"Yes. But why do you ask?" He asked back cautiously.

" Don't worry. I have no interest in your loot money. So relax" I said in a calm voice, trying to not complicate the situation any further.

After that, I explained how I needed someone to watch over the hideout that I would make for Fitz and promised to train him to make him stronger. It's still 6 or 7 months earlier before Grandpa will hand us over to Dadan, so until then I need someone to watch over him and Sabo is the perfect candidate.

After that, we started heading towards Sabo's hideout. After reaching there we met Ace, who of course acted all haughty and started protesting. But after getting a good beating, he quieted down and promised to get back at me after becoming stronger.

....

A few days later we finally finished creating the new hideout for us. It was made at the same location as the original story. I also started both of their training along with Luffy. Luffy was of course stronger than them, unlike the original plot, thanks to me.

Ace, Sabo and Luffy started bickering like the original story, while I was the mature one. It was quite a headache for me. We also continued robbing the bandits to increase our pirate loot and started hunting wild animals for meat. Unlike the original story, it was four cups of sake this time, Which we drank to be brothers forever and swore to go out to see one day as pirates.

Few days later while me and Luffy were returning to Partys bar we saw villagers making quite a commotion.

A middle-aged man was running around shouting, "Pirates!!!! Pirates!!! Pirates!!! They are here!!! All of us are going to die!!!"
