8 Ch8: Winning hearts through food

As the guests were greeted by military welcome ceremony of bands and soldiers. They were lead to a custom vehicle which is big enough to occupy two lanes. This vehicle too was made in hurry as to accommodate huge body of fishman and merfolks. As they were exiting the gate of airport, they were meet by flashes of camera of news reporters.

"I didn't expect many people to take our pictures" Neptune said in amazement as the mob continued to take pictures and videos.

"It's the first time we are having guests from this new world we came into and it's also the first time for our people to see a real fishman and merfolks." Elly replied while trying to not to get blind by flashes.

"Are we the first one invited to your kingdom, Miss Elly?" Otohime asked as she was surprised that her kingdom was the first one to be invited.

"Yes. We've been here for quite a time and we were trying to find out about this world while keeping our existence secret to prepare ourselves. Because of you advocating for a union between your races and humans in peaceful terms for the childrens future that we decided to approach your kingdom first. We believe in equality, freedom and pursuit of happiness. Since our goals are similar, we have decided to invite your Kingdom first into our Kingdom."

The happiness that Otohime is feeling right now can not be expressed in words. Her dreams reached to other kingdom and they too have similar goals to her.

Neptune was really happy seeing happiness on Otohime face and was ready to do anything to make her dream come true since they are so close.

Everyone was happy as it seemed they won't be treated as horribly like native of this world, especially by humans.

While on their way to Royal Heart. They were taking in the view of this Marvelous city. Building made up of glasses that reaches heaven, citizens having their own vehicle as well public transportation. People laughing, playing and eating on the streets. Smile on everybody faces and no one seems to be unfortunate or with sad expression. Even if the city is artificially made, there were trees and plants everywhere including parks.

Soon they reached the gate of Royal Heart where they were saluted by Gaurds.

As they went inside they saw a huge white palace. The Royal Palace was smaller than Pangaea Castle of World Government but none the less it was majestic.

At foot of the palace were few people standing for the arrival for the guests. The one in the middle was a man in his 20s, with sharp jawline, scarlet black hair with complimentary color of bright scarlet red underneath. Bright Purple eyes and a body with a lean muscular build. He was wearing a 3 piece suit. The one on the right was a female with a turquoise colored hair that reached just below her shoulders, wearing white t-shirt with 'CAPSULE' written on it and grey jeans. On the left were a man with red spikey hair and a woman with blonde hair. Both are dressed in chefs attire.

As the vehicle stopped in front of palace and passengers came out. They were approached by the man with purple eyes. Followed by his companions.

"Nice to meet you all. I am Dev Óneiro. We welcome you to our Humble Kingdom. I apologise for not personally receiving you at Sydney airport. I was preoccupied with some matters so I have sent Miss Elly to receive you all." Dev welcomed the Neptune family and also apologised as he was busy summoning and personally managing preparation to welcome Naptune Family.

"We are glad to meet you too, King Dev. I am King Neptune. There's no need to apologise. As a King, I too understand the situation your Kingdom is going through." Neptune thought that Dev was busy with running his kingdom in a new world but it was wrong as country was running perfectly at the moment.

"I am Queen Otohime. Thank you for saving my life as well as my daughter's life." Queen Otohime said while thanking the person who sent Madara to help save her and Shirahoshi life.

"We did what was naturally right. I am glad you and Princess Shirahoshi are in good health" Dev said while turning his gaze at Shirahoshi.

While Shirahoshi again shyed and hid behind Otohime. Neptune was about to say something to Shirahoshi for hiding from King of other worldy Kingdom who has people like Madara. Also it would give negative impression to the Man who can potentially make her wife's dream true.

But before Naptune can say anything. Dev put hand in his pocket took out freshly made candies.

"Hello Princess Shirahoshi. Would you like some candies. They are very tasty and sweet." Dev lured out Shirahoshi from her mother's shadow and she took a candy from Dev's hand.

Dev also gave candies to other childrens of Neptune family.

The childrens opened the wrap and put candy in their mouth. As soon as they put candy in their mouth. They met with enchanting sweet taste of candy. All of them had happy expression.

Dev took out all the candies he had on his pocket and put them out on his palms.

All the children, including Shirahoshi enthusiastically took candies and said.

"THANK YOU!!"

"You are welcome." Dev said with a smile. The smile also appeared on Neptune, Otohime and Jinbe face. Along on the face of chefs who were standing behind Dev who actually made this candies, as well as Elly and turquoise haired woman. Madara too smiled a little.

Next was Jinbe so he introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you too King Dev. I am Jinbe and I am acting as personal bodyguard of Neptune family."

"Nice to meet you too Jinbe. Your reputation as first son of the sea precedes you."

"I didn't know I was so famous" jinbe replied while being little embarrased.

"You are famous than you think Jinbe. I assume Miss Elly has already asked you to demonstrate your legendary fish-men karate."

"Ah yes. She has already asked me about it. I hope opportunity arrives so i can fulfill her wish" Jinbe said with true words while Elly was little embarrased.

"All of you have already met my friends Madara and Miss Elly. Please meet our Head of Research and Technology and the Royal chefs of our Kingdom. They too are my friends" Dev said as to introduce his companions.

The turquoise haired woman came forward and introduced herself.



"Good evening everyone. I am Bulma Brief, the Head of Research and Technology." Bulma introduced with her energized voice.

The guest greeted her back. The next were the chefs.

"Good evening everyone. I am Erina Nakiri - and I am Yukihira Soma - we welcome you to our Kingdom." Both Soma and Nakiri introduced themselves.

Similarly they too got greeted back.

"You all must tired from long journey. Please come inside and have rest. Dinner will be ready soon." Dev invited guests to his palace.

As they entered inside they were shocked to see many advance gadgets. body scanners, 16k flat tv on wall, perfectly controlled temperature inside. And all of this are about to get upgraded as bulma is finally here.

The guest were lead to their room so they can unpack and rest for a time being.

When Dev was making his Kingdom with the help of system. He purposely made his palace big with big doors to accommodate people of this world as he knows about beings of all different shapes and sizes. Although he failed to see the day to day activities will also be hindered due to huge sizes. He'll think about it later on how to solve this situation.

Dinner was ready and so the guest were called to the party hall room where a huge long table was set. Dev welcomed them and everyone seated including Madara, Elly, Bulma and guards that came along to enjoy dinner. For Dev, he doesn't care about status and treats everyone as the same if possible.

Although Dev invited Nakiri and Soma to seat together too but they refused as they wanted serve food themselves to guests.

And the guest themselves couldn't wait as they could smell the aroma of food outside the banquet hall.

The food that was served was best meat of their Kingdom with an pink sauce and blue sauce . Along with some side dishes.

The soon as you put the knife on meat, it was split without applying any pressure.

Neptune tried the meat without any

Sauces and soon as he put the meat in his mouth, his eyes opened up wide. The tasty and juicy meat melted on his tongue. With every chew he can extract and enjoy more heavenly taste of meat.

While Otohime chose to have the meat with pink sauce. She too had her eyes wide opened. The taste and juice of meat perfectly blended with sweet and sour taste of pink sauce.

Jinbe chose blue sauce with the meat. His eyes to opened wide as he experienced the taste of blueberry and lemon sauce with the perfectly cooked meat.

And the kids threw their manners out of the window and delighted themselves into the otherworldly taste.

Dev and Elly too was surprised taste of this food as they never had any food ever come close to the taste they are experiencing right now. Even Bulma was surprised as her world was more advanced and had more flavours but none of them ever close to this.

Madara. He is used to any food as long as it give him energy. He never cared about the taste of food. He'll eat anything if its possible to eat it without any side effects. But this. This blissful meat with pink and blue sauces changed his whole world. As if it filled colour on his black and white taste buds. As if something bloomed inside of him. He never had this much delicious food. He may have never cared about taste. But that is now changed forever. He'll eat the food made by Nakiri and Soma forever. Even if he has to start the Fifth Great Ninja War.

Dev and his friends were lucky as they got the chance to eat this godly food everyday. But this chance won't come everytime for the people from Ryugu Kingdom. The guards that came with Neptune family and under Jinbe were glad and thanked the gods for being selected to act as escort for Neptune family to their visit to Óneiro Kingdom.

Everyone tried various combinations and proportion of sauce with meat. And this gave new taste everytime they did that. As if they are eating thousands dishes at the same time in same dish but different taste at different bites.

Everyone asked for atleast 4 servings. Nakiri and Soma were delighted that their food are being enjoyed, especially by their friends.

"Nakiri-san, Soma-san. The food prepared by you both are delicious. This is most delicious food we have ever had in our life. We will never forget this taste." Otohime said after being impressed by their food.

Both Neptune and Jinbe also agreed with Otohime statement.

"Thank you for your praise, Queen Otohime. We are glad you and everyone else enjoyed our food." Both Nakiri and Soma said together in unison.

The dinner is over and table is being cleaned and everyone is going outside the hall.

To warm up Shirahoshi up with others. Dev tried to make a small talk with her.

"Princess Shirahoshi. How was food. Was it delicious?" Dev asked Shirahoshi in a voice that is pleasable to children.

"I like it so much!! It's the best food i have ever had. I wished to eat more but i am full right now" Shirahoshi replied without any shyness but in happy voice. The people of Ryugu Kingdom were surprised to see Shirahoshi like that. She is for the first time after so long showing a Jolly and full of happiness face.

"Is that so!! Well you know tomorrow breakfast is also prepared by Nakiri and Soma. Would you come for breakfast tomorrow morning."

"Yes! Yes! I will surely come tomorrow morning for breakfast." Shirahoshi said with a bright smile.

But Dev didn't forgot other childrens of Neptune and Otohime.

" Would you guys come too? Prince Fukaboshi, Prince Ryuboshi, Prince Manboshi?" Dev asked as he turned his face towards the Princes of Ryugu Kingdom.

Neptune and Otohime were happy as he didn't ignore their other childrens. In their eyes, the image of Dev is being into positive image.

"Yes, we would like to come too" The trio Prince replied at the same time.

Everyone smiled at Kids reaction. Even they themselves too couldn't wait for sunrise tomorrow to enjoy breakfast made by Nakiri and Soma.

"Would you like to go sight seeing now. I assure you the Night time of our is another Beauty compared to morning time" Dev while turning himself to Neptune and Otohime.

"We would like to rest for tonight now. We want to savour the taste left in our tongue for the whole night."

Neptune replied.

"And also prepare ourselves for tomorrow's breakfast." Otohime joked too a little.

"Then please look forward to tomorrow's breakfast. I'll be taking my leave. Let's meet tomorrow at breakfast then." Dev replied went to his way and people from Ryugu Kingdom went to the their respective room.
