Execution (4)

A young man walked on a path of fire that floated in between Sengoku's ship and the ship he came from. His coat had similarly yellow epaulletes and yet his rank was above the two men who were arguing, a Vice Admiral.

"Something wrong, dad?"

"Akatora? Good to see you so soon! Where's my granddaughter?"

Sweat filled Akatora's back at his father's sudden blow. Feeling that the topic was too much of a hot potato, he decided to take it out on Sakazuki instead.

"It seems you still haven't understood the meaning of ranks here Sakazuki? What if the others followed your lead? What would happen to the ranking system then?"

Akatora suddenly appeared on Sakazuki's side and took his sword. The action happened so fast that Sakazuki only realized what happened a second after the sword was taken from him.

"I'll give this back when you learn your place! It's fine to uphold justice but using it to serve your own fulfillment will do nothing but destroy us from the inside! Remember Sakazuki, until you prove yourself to me, you will not get this sword back."

Akatora's hand tossed the sword into the air as soon as Sakazuki tried to steal it away from his grasp. The moment that Sakazuki thought it would fall to the ground, he jumped first to get a higher vantage point. But his hopes were dashed as soon as a flash of light coming from the side took the sword and threw it towards Akatora's vessel.

"Alright men! Return to your stations! The execution will happen in an hour! Don't let anyone suspicious in! But don't cause any trouble or I will find you myself."

Akatora walked away from the fuming Sakazuki who didn't even try to fight back as he had already tasted defeat in Akatora's hands so many times before. Though the man was similar to him in age, his devil fruit had been eaten from since he was young. Meanwhile, Sakazuki had nothing but his Armament Haki and it wasn't even on the same level as Akatora's.

'Just you wait! I'll get you myself!'

Sakazuki walked back to his station, on the 3rd quadrant in the southern portion of the island. He didn't care about a subordinate that presented his sword to Sakazuki as he vowed to never use a sword until he gets back what was his from Akatora.

"You know that won't work on him right?"

Sengoku watched Akatora 'bully' Sakazuki with a weary smile. He knew that Akatora wanted Sakazuki to channel that hatred into strength by virtue of his Haki, but Sakazuki's sense of justice was different from what Akatora thought it was. Something he would see for himself when the time comes.

"Yeah, well, you never know. I know it won't work on that guy for sure though."

Akatora pointed at Kuzan who was already walking towards the sea as if it was normal to jump from a ship in the middle of the ocean.

It was only when he almost fell in the sea that ice formed around his feet, spreading over the ocean as soon as he felt a foothold. He bade his goodbye while walking straight to his station which was in the second quadrant of the island which was in the west.

"What about them?"

Akatora pointed at the three ships left behind, waiting for their liege to return. A man who held a flaming sword pointed his katana in Akatora's direction which made him giggle.

He activated his Conqueror's Haki to try and best this man in will power but surprisingly, the man only fell to his knees. His raised sword never touching the ground.

"That's one hell of a subordinate. The men of Wano seem to be a good bunch."

"Tell me about it, they sure know how to fight."

Sengoku stretched his arms that had a few scars left over from the sword marks left by those men.

His Zoan fruit, the Human-Human Fruit Buddha Model, made him into a larger version of himself that was surrounded in a golden color. Increasing his strength to levels much stronger than his normal self, even facing off Kaido wouldn't have been a problem if they weren't in the sea.

His raw power was hard to control which may cause the ships there were on to sink, negating any advantage his great power would give him.

"Just wait for the old man to finish then, was that your plan?"

"Yeah, unless you have a better one?"

"Nah, just wanted to make sure. I'll be going now!"

"Hey! What are you in a hurry fo-"

Akatora didn't say anymore as the fire he made reverted back to the ship, carrying him with it. He watched as the old man return to give command to the Marine left over as he himself went to meet his friend.

I've chosen to combine a few suggestions to make his skill set more nuanced. Though it won't be properly introduced until after the introduction arc.

The character introductions should be done in a few more chapters so stay tuned as the journey has just started!
