6 Shiki

Shiki the Golden Lion, also known as the "Flying Pirate", is the captain and helmsman of the Golden Lion Pirates. He is also a former member of the Rocks Pirates and the first known prisoner to have ever escaped from Impel Down. He also ate the float-float fruit, allowing him to have things he touches to float, as well as even giving him the power to fly, which is why he got such a name.

During the Pirate King, Gol D Roger era, he was one of the well-known pirates. having commanded one of the largest pirate fleets of that era, he was considered one of Roger's greatest rivals, Shiki desired to conquer the world. When Shiki heard that the Marines captured Roger, he stormed the Marines and in the end fought Garp and Songoku, where he was defeated and locked away in impelled down.

But he was the only person to ever escape that prison, he cut off his own legs to escape. but ever since he escaped, he had not made any great waves at sea... as the sea was indeed calm compared to the era when pirates of Gol D Roger, and the many powerful pirates were running around. back then, many emperor-level pirates ran around, but today, those emperor-level pirates were all... well, they rarely even fought with each other.

Shiki shot towards me, while I shot forward to clash with him. As expected, Shiki wasn't as powerful as in his prime. this was the problem when one reached their peak of power, the only way they could go was down. Ever since Shiki was imprisoned, and escaped, his power has been dropping.

Haki is something that should also be kept trained, long times of peace and no usage of Haki would leave one even forgetting how to use it. One mindset also determines this, let's look at the future warlords for example. Crocodile.

Crocodile would be a future world lord, but due to him heading to one of the peaceful blues, where he kept years solely using his devil fruit, dominating the weak, adding the fact he grew to see no need for Haki, how could his haki remain something he could call upon? the same was true for another of the world lords, Gecko Moria.

Gecko Moria could once clash with someone like a young Kaido, but the guy grew to rely on using other strengths instead of his own, after facing the trauma of his whole crew being destroyed. This led to him pretty much losing Haki, along with his own strength dropping.

Haki is the spirit, so how could your spirit be weak and your Haki be strong? Well, this was a similar sight to someone like Shiki, his spirit was there, but his spirit wasn't as strong as it used to be.

So we clashed, It was tricky to fight someone who could float, and had blades for legs. I had to be on guard against those blades, and of course, Shiki was a master swordsman. Although my durability was greater since I was in the sun, I needed to use my armament Haki if I wished to be able to withstand this man's swords and not be cut through like butter. even so, I was quickly covered in blood from our clashes.

The clash of haki created black lightning, and the pressure of our two haki led to all life on the island being knocked out. As we fought, I found myself growing stronger...

3rd point of view

Sora wasn't growing stronger, his mind was just growing. No matter what, Sora had the mindset of a human, but as he fought, his mind was pushed to its limits, solar energy which had yet to be refined was being refined, and new solar energy came to take the old energy place.

Sora's mind wasn't that of a normal human, like how his body durability, his body strength, body speed, and all parts of his body were improving thanks to solar energy, his mind also improved similarly, it just wasn't noticeable thanks to mental limits his brain had set.

Sora's mind was like a supercomputer, a supercomputer that limited itself to that of a normal human. This was honestly Sora's ever-real fight, a fight with the risk of death. A fight where any mistake leads to him suffering great injuries, injuries which could cripple him for life.

Garp although didn't mind throwing a few punches, in the end, would hold back. Sakazuki the end of the day... well, Sora was his perfect counter, as he could just absorb the heat from his magma.

"Why are you not dodging?" Shiki asked seeing how Sora was taking any attack he threw head-on instead of avoiding it. but this led to Sora suffering great injuries

"I'm not scared of a few scratches," Sora said with a smile, leaving Shiki speechless as he looked at the deep cut on Sora's shoulder which reached the bone, was that just a cut?

"You're scary boy," Shiki said with a grin, he shot forward while kicking toward Sora, and Sora reached out with his dragon claw, with armament haki covering the fingers, while his observation haki was pushed to its limit, he clawed forward to clash with Shiki.

But this time, it was different from last time. Sora claw grabbed onto the blade, and used Shiki's own power against him, sending Shiki flying. this caught Shiki off guard as he expected Sora to keep fighting head-on.

"You underestimate me Shiki, do you think all I know is to fight head-on?" Sora asked while jumping after Shiki. Shiki quickly moved to block the incoming dragon claw, but he was sent slamming to the ground from the impact of the blow.

Shiki's pupils shrank, and he moved, but it was like Sora already knew his next move, Sora's move perfectly countered his, leading to a heavy blow landing on Shiki's chest. Shiki shot backward and quickly tried to stabilize himself, but Sora was already before him, fist-shooting toward him.

Shiki moved to block, but Sora kick shot forward, slamming into Shiki's stomach, causing Shiki's pupils to disappear, just a bit more, and Shiki would have fainted.

Sora's Point of View

"I-is this future sight?" Shiki asked, realizing he had lost, but he was shocked when I just shook my head at him.

"no, during those few clashes I had with you, it allowed me to read you. I now Understand how your devil fruit works, how you attack, the patterns you do before every punch, and leg sword swing, and how you move around. I broke down your fighting style, and with that, I simply have to aim for the blind spots." I said calmly, although I sounded calm, I was shocked that I was capable of doing such things.

During our clashes, it was like I was seeing a pattern. I never felt my mind work so fast, it was crazy fast to the point I felt like... things were moving somewhat slow. In truth, Shiki was stronger than me. but he started this battle holding back somewhat, but his attacks were not light, that danger forced my mind to feel as if death was near, so the limitations of my mind which set my mind to the standards of a human were lifted... at the end of the day, I was no normal human.

My senses and even mind were set to that of a normal man. but now those were removed, I saw faster, my eyesight was sharp, I could hear things far better than others, and the list went on. All of my senses worked together, taking in all of the information, canceling out those that were not important, while breaking down those that were important. This allowed me to pretty much be a genius, although I didn't get smarter, my senses and mind just improved.

Shiki was stronger than me and even faster, but with how powerful my senses were, and mind were at the moment, he could be moving 5 steps ahead, I was already thinking 10 steps ahead of Shiki, fully understanding his combat style and so on. This isn't even adding just how my Observation Haki improved... plus the fact I could sense the use of armament Haki, although it shouldn't normally be used.

"Impossible..." Shiki didn't want to believe this so he shot towards me, but with every move he threw at me, I perfectly dodged each move

"Give up, I won," I said my eyes locked on Shiki the whole time, yes Shiki tried to throw random attacks at me to see if he could catch me off guard, but even then, the core of his fighting style reamed, so I easily dodged.

In the end, I slammed a kick into his stomach, normally my attacks shouldn't have had the power to nearly knock him out. but then again, I was attacking at the right moment, although one could cover their whole body in haki, one should know the more spread out their Haki is, the weaker it is. the more focused it is, the stronger it is. adding the fact I could sense where his armament haki was most focused, I had this fight in the bag.

Shiki fell to the ground, a lost look in his eyes, which quickly turned into a mad look, unwilling to accept defeat, but that mad look disappeared when he felt a strong heat wave press down upon him. he looked at me, shocked that I had some devil fruit-like ability. I noticed the heat I could give off was far greater than before, my body could withstand more of it.

the ground below me began to melt, the air boiled, and Shiki who was caught off guard was forced to fall backward, but I just walked towards him, the heat I gave off just growing bigger and bigger.

"Do you think I went all out?" I asked calmly, I didn't use my solar powers. but even if I did, it would have not made much of a difference, Shiki would have just attacked faster to try and defeat me before he was cooked by the heat I gave off.

"... I surrender," Shiki said in a low and defeated voice, I nodded lightly at his words, before the heat I gave off died off.

"Then, let's conquer the blue sea. let's start off by defeating other pirate crews and taking them into our ranks.... our pirate crew would be known as The Sun Pirates." I said calmly, yes I knew someone out there had the name Sun Pirates... although I was sure they might already have disbanded or something.

"We would be the strongest force in the sky, the sea, and so on... and I don't mind capturing those emperors and having them join," I said with a smile, leaving Shiki stunned at my goals, but after a moment, his blood couldn't help but boil at the thought of the huge waves that I would bring to this world.
