1 One Piece

The world of one piece was large, the planet alone is many times bigger than that of earth. with over 20 million islands, and of course, these islands being far bigger than islands found on Earth, this world was massive. 

Dominating the world's surface is the Blue Sea, a body of saltwater broadly divided into quadrants: the East Blue, the West Blue, the North Blue, and the South Blue. These divisions are formed by two natural barriers that bisect the world at roughly perpendicular angles.

1. The Grand Line, is a relatively narrow strip of ocean infamous for its unnatural, rapidly shifting climates and monstrous wildlife as well as being enclosed by the completely wind and current-free Calm Belt regions.

2. The Red Line, a huge (and mostly barren) landmass that functions as the world's only true continent. 

All parts of the Blue Sea Grand Line and Calm Belts included contain numerous islands supporting many different degrees of life. Travel between these islands is relatively simple in the four Blues, but significantly more complex in the Grand Line, where many islands produce unique magnetic fields that render the magnets of ordinary compasses useless, necessitating special "Log Pose" compasses.

The Goa Kingdom is a country located on Dawn Island, in East Blue. this kingdom was split into a few parts, the richest part being High Town which was surrounded by a huge wall. this is where the royal family called home.

The majority of the population living in the walled part of the Goa kingdom resides in the Town Center. This is where the people who fall neither in the category of being nobles nor lower class call home.

The closest part of the walled kingdom of Goa to the large wall surrounding it is the Edge Town, an area where many of the country's criminals gather. It is an area with a high crime rate, and various groups of gangsters fighting for power in its streets.

Outside of the wall, there is a sprawling slum filled with trash collected from the entire world that is thrown there every two days. Its inhabitants are the poorest members of Goa's society and are not considered citizens by its authorities. This is called Gray Terminal

Beyond the Gray Terminal, there is a vast chain of mountains surrounding the area and the walled part of the kingdom. These mountains are inhabited by many groups of bandits and dangerous animals, making life scarce there. Beyond the mountains, there are vast plains where life is easier and calmer, with small villages such as Foosha Village being found there.

I was currently outside the walls in the slums. there, mountains of trash which were on fire could be seen. I had a slight frown, but I ignored everything while using my Observation Haki to scan the land around me.

I have been in this world for... 18 years now. Shocking? but in these 18 years, I had been chained up by my father and wasn't allowed to go outside much. Today, I was allowed to come out and see my little brother since my powers could be controlled somewhat. At least now, my powers will not give me sun cancer or cause me to turn myself to ash.

Walking the sea of flames, my eyes lending on two kids who were surrounded by a group of men. I looked at the kids for a moment, before looking towards the sea, there my father was heading towards a boat. even so, his Haki was pointed this way.

"What a pain," I said softly while looking back towards the kids. I wanted to see my younger brother, Luffy who should be around 7 years old right now. but at the moment, he was rolling on the ground, crying in pain. 

Luffy was still a kid, not the... slightly bigger child I knew in the anime. at his side was Ace, who should be one or 2 years older than Luffy. They were both covered in injuries, it was clear they had a hard battle.

A grown man was getting ready to stab a sword through his heart. But as the sword was about to stab down, I glared my eyes, and for a moment time seemed to freeze. the flames shook madly at the power of my will, while those surrounding Luffy and his friend Ace found themselves fainting. That was Conquer Haki, but this was the most basic usage of such a thing. by imposing my will on others, I can make those with weaker wills than me faint... and it looks like my control over it was bad as I knocked out Luffy without trying to.

"W-what was that?" Bluejam, a pirate who was hired to burn down the slums and in exchange would be rewarded the title of a noble was shocked and slightly fearful seeing his man just dropping to the ground. He had just found out that the noble who hired him had lied to him, all he wanted was to get these kids' treasures and run away.

he felt his head, as he was slightly dizzy, he didn't know what that was but upon looking at Ace who was also looking around, he guessed that had to be Ace doing.

He was about to rush Ace but stopped when the flames began moving. all over the slums, the flames gathered towards one spot... behind him. Ace and Bluejame slowly turned around, and there they saw the flames gathering around what looked to be a demon.

"W-what!" Bluejam was horrified, and Ace was also scared not knowing what the monster was before them. but the flames slowly died out, and there Ace's eyes widened seeing me. how couldn't he when I looked a lot like Luffy?

"Picking on children... you must be proud." I said while walking towards Bluejam, who stepped backward, but after gritting his teeth, he jumped towards me with a blade in his hands cutting towards me. I didn't even bother to use Armament Haki and just let the blade cut me, Ace couldn't watch and looked away, but the cry of shock from Bluejam caused him to look over, and in shock, he saw that Bluejam blade was blocked by my muscles 

At most, his blade cut through my skin, drawing blood. but that was all. Ace's eyes widened, not expecting muscles could be used like that. I was covered in muscles, with almost zero body fat. My physique was similar to that of Yujiro Hanma from Baki.

"You gave me a paper cut, I seemed to have been looking down on you," I said while looking at the blade which had barely cut me in shock. I was truly shocked, I was sure with my current capability I should be immune to such a simple blade unless one was a master swordsman... but this guy cut me, I must be weak, or this guy was stronger than I expected.

"D-don't Mock me." Scared Bluejam tried to cover that fear with rage. he pulled back the blade, and this time aimed for the head. Sighing softly, I reached out, grabbing the blade, and with some force, the blade shattered

"Impossible... why is someone like you in the east blue," Bluejam said in horror, East Blue should be peaceful compared to the many other seas, yet someone like me was here, so he was of course scared. 

"I just came to see my little brother," I said calmly, horrifying Bluejam who looked towards the knocked-out Luffy. Ace although stunned was more calmed as he already guessed this,

"I gave you enough respect," I said lightly, as respect for cutting me, I answered his question. but now it was time for him to die, so pointing forward, I poked him. With a simple poke, the guy had a hole in his forehead, and after a moment he dropped to the ground, dead...

"..." I looked towards Ace, who was uneasy meeting my gaze. but I just turned and walked off, stunning Ace.

"wait, you're just going to leave? you didn't get to see Luffy yet." Ace cried to which I just waved goodbye without bothering to look back. 

"Take care of him..." I said while disappearing, leaving Ace stunned, but he picked up Luffy just in time as their babysitter arrived with an army to save them. Ace quickly told them everything that happened, while they rushed back to the mountains...

"You could have stayed." walking back towards his ship, Dragon spoke. I just shook my head at his words.

"I'm not that type of person..." I said calmly, causing Dragon to stop in his footsteps. I didn't stop walking and kept walking towards his ship.

"... what is your goal?" Dragon asked, causing me to stop for a second. Dragon walked over, placing his palm on my shoulder.

"Sora," Dragon said softly, he felt great pain and guilt when it came to his eldest son, he felt like he robbed his son of the opportunity to make a choice in life. from birth, he had to be taken away and kept away from the son, along with many more. it was only today his son stepped out, and even then it was at night.

"Go out and find your calling, remember, you don't have to join The Revolutionary Army." He said softly, from birth to now. he had refused me to join the army he had built, he thought he was using my special gift, instead he only wanted to ensure my gift couldn't kill me. 

"... I guess I will stay here for some time, and maybe find Mom," I said lightly, making Dragon's body flitch remembering his former love.

"I will be staying nearby as well... at least until the world nobles are gone," Dragon said softly, while I looked around for a second before heading towards the village nearby. Dragon watched me leave for some time, before wind gathered, picking him up and taking him towards his boat.

What did I want to do? That was a good question, ever since coming into this world my only goal was surviving thanks to the fact I was reborn with the skill Sunshine. but as it was nighttime, and as seen by the fact I could control flames, it was not the same Sunshine from the world of Seven Deadly Frames... I mean Sins, not frames.

Sunshine normally empowers the user based on the sun's position in the sky, the higher up the sun, the greater the power boost, with noon being when I should be at my peak. but my sunshine also absorbed solar energy, empowering me. the drawback was that the solar energy I absorbed was too much, and could lead to me getting cancer, growing fat, and the list went on.

This was even worse when it was noon and I was absorbing all of that solar energy. So, I had to be locked away from the sun and train my body to be capable of handling that solar energy. of course, at times I would absorb solar energy, as the solar energy is refined by my body, in return improving my overall capability.

Pretty much, it was like I took Superman's physique and fused it with Sunshine, birthing an unstable power that could kill me if I wasn't careful. The moment the sun's rays hit me, my body opens up and start sucking in all of that energy, but it wasn't limited to solar energy as even fire can be absorbed along with other forms of heat and light.

But what did I want to do? I didn't have a great dream like my father to change the world, overthrowing the world government and world nobles. Yes, I hated the nobles, and I believe I would kill a world noble if they stood before me... so long as the trouble doesn't come knocking at my doorsteps, I believed to be the type who rather mind their own business.

There was a question out there that asked would you kill one person to save 10 people? at first, those questions seemed simple... but before me, it was different. who will I be killing, and who are those 10 people?

Would you kill your mom to save 10 random people? would you kill a random person to save Hitler and your worst enemy? I fully believed, that so long as I benefit, then the world can burn. I will destroy the world for my loved ones, I will not give them up for the sake of the world.

I saw myself as neither a good guy nor a bad guy. just someone who saw that the world wasn't black and white. A Life is priceless, that was something I understood. behind every life held a story, loved ones, pain, regrets, and fears. be it a good guy or bad guy, their life isn't simple, something in life pushed them towards the path they took, and everyone, of course, had the chance to change, and taking that away from them made you as much as a bad guy than them. 

Well, that was my way of thinking... So, although I thought I wasn't a bad guy or a good guy, I knew I could come off as a villain to others. some might say since you have the power you should use it to make a difference... but the last time I checked, I didn't ask for powers, or to be reborn. I was not Spiderman who would put the world before himself, I found that stupid. I found every superhero who was struggling under their hero mask unrelatable 

Oh, back to my dream... well, I did want to know the history of one piece. what was the Vold Century, and what was the one piece? As someone who has been watching One Piece for over 10 years, that was a mystery I wanted to find out. But I will go where the waves take me, I just didn't have that driving force that drives people
