Chapter 100: Tinny D. Sinj With The Rescue

...........

"Hm? That's a good name for it... Taste Of New World." Yovan let out a wide smile as he wrote that name down.

And the Strangers did get a taste of New World, a deeper taste as they made their way towards Dressrosa.

They weren't in a hurry though as they took their time, stopping on a few islands while adventuring through the unstable conditions of New World, from common hurricanes to monstrous sea beasts and so on.

They really didn't do much on the said island, just stopping as long as it takes for the Log Pose to reset, but it was clear that their way was already engraved.

Both Yovan and Laffitte seem to know a lot about New World. How became apparent to Kalifa and Kaku as they continuously received information from Bege.

Capone Bege, also called the Don, is one of the Emperors of the Underworld. In fact, the funds left to him by Yovan as well as the money he gained from auctioning the paintings allowed him to quickly rise in power.

The other Underworld Emperors are called as such because they dominate a certain field, making them more than kind in the said field, but Bege was dominating several fields.

And it wasn't only due to the money and Morgans' support because Bege had a few special resources that made him special, Devil Fruits, some special Devil Fruits left to him by Yovan.

Either way, the information sent by Bege allowed Yovan to accelerate one of his goals in New World because every Island they passed through was somewhat known for having crows within.

Most of the Crows weren't as special as the Crows of the Night, but they joined the family nonetheless, mostly establishing themselves in New World.

And in no more than two weeks, the Pantheon planted their first foothold in New World. If Kaku and Kalifa noticed Yovan's actions, they didn't question him, they just chose to trust him and enjoy the ride.

"Kuahahahahah, kuuuiiiii! Saaaa! Offf! So close! Try again, Antarisa!" The Sea was strangely calm, very much unlike how it's usually been in New World.

The Sky was clear, and the surroundings would've been eerily silent if not for Kaku's loud enthusiastic voice.

Seizon No Hono was sailing, and he was following after it a bit high in the sky, but someone else was following after him, mostly due to the colossal green heart he was holding in his hands.

It seemed to be desired dearly by Antarisa as she continuously lunged at him with a furious look, using the air as a platform. She was somehow able to use Geppo, or a technique similar to it to keep up with Kaku.

It was a game Yovan instructed Kaku with playing with Antarisa to force her to improve, and it worked wonderfully due to her love for Sea Kings' hearts, specifically the green lizard Sea Kings.

But she wasn't even remotely capable of reaching Kaku's speed. His Devil Fruit worked perfectly along with his specialty to create a monster only Yovan understands.

"Waaa, Antarisa grew up, Captain!" A new voice resounded through Seizon No Hono, "I told Bege that even dirt can turn to diamond in your hands, and he didn't believe me, and here I am, proven right!"

"Did you, really?" Yovan couldn't help but chuckle as he lazily glanced at Tinny D. Sinj himself! Well, not in flesh and bones, but through a screen, talking to him through a Den Den Mushi.

"Of course of course, I never lie!" Sinj nodded again and again, emphasizing his unmatched honesty.

Tinny D. Sinj proved to be a liability but too valuable to throw away at the same time.

He, for some reason, started introducing himself as Zeus, the king of Gods. The God Of Thunder and lightning.

He spoke of his great unmatched power, leading him to be suspected of being from the Pantheon, yet here he is, smiling widely with a grin as if nothing happened.

"I'll ignore the fact that you are a liability only if the news makes me happy... There is a weapon that can instantly heal me?" Indeed, Sinj contacted Yovan with quite the good news, but it was too good to be true.

His arm growing back shouldn't be possible for a normal human, but it has somewhat started to grow back.

Rapid cell division is associated with tissue regeneration meaning the capability to regrow limbs, but it is also a feature of cancer.

So It is possible that evolution in humans has suppressed rapid cell division in order to combat cancer at the cost of losing our ability to regenerate tissue.

Yet Yovan regained such a capability, all due to Limitless. He was more certain than ever that Limitless is actually not limitless, perhaps one of the reasons why the previous Limitless chose to take their own life.

Limitless works by stages. There is somewhere out there a creature with an Endurance surpassing 2000, and once Yovan surpassed that number, he gained the Endurance capabilities of that creature.

Yovan's current Endurance is 2675, but he was certain that there are numerous creatures surpassing that, and once he reaches his levels, he will gain their capabilities in the said field.

Not every point increase changes him, but every time he surpasses a specific point in relation to another creature, he changes a lot, gaining their capabilities.

That's how Limitless works, Yovan was certain. So it made him wonder what is truly considered Limitless.

If the creature with the highest stats for example has 100000 in Endurance. Let's assume that Yovan surpasses those stats, thus gaining their capabilities, what'll happen after that?

Will his stats still continue to increase without a real change in his capabilities? Will his stats become nothing but a number increasing without value?

Are those the limits of Limitless? Because if so, then the system seems to be flawed.

Yovan wasn't sure, but what he was sure of was that with his current capabilities, it'll take him about a year to fully regrow his left arm, so if there is something that can accelerate the process, he welcomes it.

"While runnin... While touring around Paradise, I stumbled upon an Island. It didn't seem that strange at first. I blended in very quickly, and that's when I started hearing things from my worshipers. What I heard was..."

"Wait wait, what?" Yovan had to interrupt Sinj right there and then, "Worshipers? Aren't skipping through a lot?"

"Ah, it's no big deal, really." Sinj scratched his head, seemingly embarrassed, "The people of the Island just kinda found out that I'm a God, and they saw my godly powers somehow, so some of them started worshiping me... Naturally of course. So anyway, as I was saying..."

"A bit of silence please." Yovan said as he started stroking his chin, "Let me guess. They found out you are Zeus because you bragged about it. They saw your godly powers because your bragging coincided with a storm, thunder, lightning, or something similar?"

"Ahh, you know that I'm the God of thunder and lightning, right? Naturally, I have power. I just have to believe, and it happens." Sinj seemed even convinced of his own words, "Just like you survive by just believing."

"Hmm, I do not survive by just believing, I survive by knowing," Yovan shook his head, "No matter, continue with your tale."

"There is a legend here about a holy sword, a sword created by the God of Asuka for the king of the land as a holy weapon to protect his people.

It's said to be the most beautiful sword in the world, most importantly, It's said to grant immense power to its wielder, and heals any wounds or injuries on the user."

And Sinj wasn't done just yet as let out a wide grin, "But it is not a legend... I have seen it, but three special orbs are needed to unseal it."

"Oh," Yovan narrowed his eyes, feeling like something wasn't right. The pieces were working weirdly, almost in tandem, "Do not do anything yet. I'll be there shortly." He cut off the call.

Kalifa also stroked her chin along with Yovan, thinking things through, "Someone is setting a trap for you... This is the most likely possibility. They're using him to get you there, but how did they know?"

She didn't question Sinj's talk about his Godhood, being Zeus, and how it's related to the Pantheon because she was already certain that Yovan is the creator of the Pantheon, and that didn't change much.

Yovan was also not hiding much from his crew, "I do not know, but I have to check. There is something peculiar happening there. I must know."

"I know," Kalifa nodded, "We'll continue on our way to Dressrosa, and we'll wait for you there. I'll take care of everything else."

"Thanks," Yovan smiled as he stood up, ruffling her silky blonde hair a bit, "Keep me in the loop, but otherwise, the Strangers can do whatever the fuck they want, so if you reach Dressrosa before I come back..."

Yovan scattered into a few dark tiny feathers, leaving behind a shockwave as they vanished into the distance.
