Chapter 101: Taste My Blood I

...........

Yovan scattered into a few dark tiny feathers, leaving behind a shockwave as they vanished into the distance.

His destination lies in Paradise. Indeed, he just got a taste of New World, yet he has to go back. The journey is supposed to be long, just not for Yovan.

The few dark feathers were all hardened with Armament Haki, allowing them to survive the destructiveness of the shockwaves, ones of Yovan's makings.

He was using his Kiryu Hasshoken to perform something akin to Soru, but with tiny things like feathers, meaning his speed was bound to be ridiculous.

Moreover, he can control the said feathers, so they were even faster with his control, flying toward his destination.

Like always, Yovan leaves behind feathers scattered throughout the sea on his way. It's something he does just in case he might need them in the future, and their need came faster than expected.

His Awakening ability basically allows him to appear from any feather in his proximity, within his senses, and his ridiculously wide Observation Haki field is considered one of his senses.

So whenever possible, Yovan would basically teleport closer and closer to the red line, and it ended up taking him no more than a few hours to reach it.

There are only two ways to pass the Red Line, either dive about 7 miles deep, or somehow find your way to the top of it, and the top of the Red Line is high enough above sea level to be considered impassable.

Naturally, not for Yovan. Such is the luxury of those who can fly somehow, either with Geppo or some kind of Devil Fruit. Otherwise, all he had to do was to avoid flying above the Mary Geoise, the capital city of the World Government.

Far far away, somewhere in Paradise, Tinny D. Sinj was seated in a meditative position, his expression speaking of a Wiseman as if the nature of the world was an open book to him.

He was attired in a baggy blue shirt and pants with white boots, looking just as skinny as he always was.

Placed on the floor before him was a black feather. It almost looked like he was praying to the feather, making a few 'Worshipers' around question him.

"Your majesty, may we know what is it exactly you are doing?" With a slim frame, a round face with oval-shaped eyes, somewhat thick black eyebrows, slight smile, and freckles along with long orange hair, his name was Olve.

"Blessing the place in preparation for God's arrival." Sinj or as his current image portrayed, Zeus responded.

"Wii! What?" It wasn't just Olve that jumped in his place, his fellow Marines also did because the moment Zeus said so, it thundered, and soon lightning followed.

And indeed, most of his Worshipers were somehow Marines. In fact, he was staying in the Marine Dojo of the Island at the moment. Things were getting weirder and weirder.

"All I can do is prepare an exquisite scenery for his arrival, so excuse the rain." And it started raining the moment he finished his words. Zeus treated it as nothing, letting out a sigh, "Such are the way of Gods."

The group gulped, seeming nervous. Well, most of them were because they actually started believing his claims. All of this was too much to be a coincidence.

There was, however, someone that approached Zeus, seeming strangely calm. It was a tall man with tanned skin and long white hair that he was wearing loosely.

He was also adorned in a red robe, and with a white armband on his left arm. He was the chief of the Marine Dojo, named Saga, "Then why don't you prepare the sword for his arrival?"

"Huh?" Zeus raised a brow, "How?"

"The way I've been telling you since forever, the only way... collect the Orbs. You are capable of doing so, right?" Saga very much emphasized the last point.

"Oh, that way... But why would a God such as myself fight ants? Getting the Orbs would require lowering myself to their levels. Why would I?" Zeus shook his head with a chuckle.

"You can just take the Orbs without fighting. Can the God of thunder and lightning not do that?" For some reason, Zeus getting the Orbs was very much important to him.

"Zuh... Zuhhahhahahaha," Zeus burst out laughing, an amused laugh it was as he finally glanced at Saga menacingly, "Are you not my worshiper? Why do I need to even make a move when you exist? You do have the power to get the Orbs, No? So why not get them? Is there something you're hiding from me?"

"..." Saga was absolutely speechless, and even somewhat apprehensive... 'Was I seen through? No, not possible... But what if he's actually a god? Like the Asuke God... No, no, he must be pretending!!'

There was a battle in Saga's mind, but in the end, he decided not to act. Instead, he lightly bowed, "I'm sorry your majesty... If I offended you, but on the lives of my people, I swear I hide nothing from you."

"Hmm, you are forgiven. You may leave now." Tinny D. Sinj closed his eyes, seemingly continuing with his prayer.

He was soon left alone in the room, still meditating amidst the cozy sound of rain outside.

However, he had to open his eyes at some point and let out a sigh of relief, brushing off the sweat on his head, "That was c-close! Almost got found out. Thankfully, I believed, and it happened, phew!"

Yeah, Sinj was quite the liability because he's still one of the weakest humans in the world!

Yet for some reason, Yovan saw it fit to appoint him as the King of Gods. Whatever he saw in him must be an illusion, but at least he was surviving... Survival, perhaps he saw in him a mouth that can survive even the apocalypse.

Outside, amidst the rain were several individuals, among them was a frowning Saga.

"I... What if he's actually a God?" Questioned a massive, round man. Compared to his heavy body, his legs look rather small.

He has blond hair that curls over his cheeks. Most notably, he has a continuous scar starting from the top of his face which reaches down to his belly. His name was Boo Kong.

"Silence! He's not!!" Saga screamed, anger apparent on his face, "We'll have to find a way to get him to acquire the Orbs. It's a necess..." His words came to a halt as he turn his attention elsewhere.

There was nothing in that direction but more rain and a relatively dark wilderness, but he seemingly sensed something as a grin emerged on his face.

Soon the group scattered, tasked with a mission. Saga, on the other hand, returned to the Dojo, unaware that someone or something was watching him.

Amidst the darkness stood a crow. It was dark, and it only opened its golden eye once no one was in the vicinity.

Its eye was too bright, and would easily be detected by anyone. The crow's other eye was closed, seemingly dormant.

It stepped forward, moving its three legs, making it look a bit too eerie only to vanish a second later.

Yovan didn't visit Sinj just yet. He remained outside, observing the Island, its entirety with his Observation Haki.

Hours passed. The weather settled. The sky reverted to calmness, and it no longer rained. The weather seemed to be very unstable as it suddenly became sunny, getting hotter by the second.

And all Yovan did was observe Saga, and wonder about what he noticed. Yovan looked in the direction Saga looked at, but he neither saw nor sensed anything.

Imagine his surprise when what Saga seemingly sensed was about a dozen hours far, when it suddenly entered the field of his Observation Haki, 'Wait...'

And it was right about then that Saga exited the Dojo, heading in the direction of the thing he sensed, but Yovan was there first, in the blink of an eye.

The Sun Crow took the crow's nest as a stand to look down on the strange individuals on a ship. It was a Caravel ship with a sheep figurehead.

"Shishihihahahahaha! Huh? Waaa, a bird with three legs is on our ship! It must be delicious!" Seated on the figurehead was a young man. Well, his manners spoke of a child.

His most notable feature was a straw hat, something shared by the Jolly Roger of the crew. They were obviously pirates, and Yovan knows them quite well, not personally though.

"There is a Three-legged-crow on our Ship." Someone else said something similar, but in a completely different context as he brought out his swords, eyeing the crow vigilantly.

The crew grew vigilant. It isn't every day that they stumble upon a Three-legged-crow... Well, they never do, especially one with an eye as fiery as this one, bringing them chills.

"Mmm? Hey Sanji! Is it like chicken? Is it a special type of crow chicken?" Well, their Captain seemed clueless.
