Chapter 113: No III

...........

"I am here to kill you." The once emerald blade turned inky as Hades focused the entirety of his Armament Haki into the sword, so much so that it made the air around it shake.

While that was taking place in the Colosseum, on the other side of the Island, two individuals finally came face to face.

First was Yovan. Indeed, Yovan, somehow found himself facing a very special individual at the same time as the battle between Hades and the Don.

Somehow, both Hades and Yovan existed at the same time in completely different places, above all, Hades spoke... They are the same person, right?

Then again, Yovan appeared in the meeting location right as Hades finished speaking, and the latter remained silent from there on.

Whatever it was, Yovan focused on the very tall individual before him, just one foot taller than him, but Yovan is almost nine feet tall, so they were basically monsters compared to normal people.

Before him stood a very tall light blond-haired, very lean and muscular man with tan skin. He was attired in very flamboyant clothes, all very bright, his light pink feather coat most distinctly of all.

It was none other than Donquixote Doflamingo, nicknamed "Heavenly Yaksha", the captain of the Donquixote Pirates.

He is also a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea with a frozen bounty of 340,000,000 which in no way shape or form signifies his threat level.

The same could be said about most of the Seven Warlords. Once they join, their bounty becomes frozen, thus their threat level is mostly unknown.

That wasn't the most interesting thing about Doflamingo as besides being the most influential underworld broker under the codename "Joker", he is also a former World Noble, descended from the Donquixote Family.

"I heard you made some trouble right in the luxury of my palace," Doflamingo remarked with a grin, eyeing Yovan closely.

"Not really. I was met with rudeness, so I reciprocated." Yovan shook his head.

"Donquixote Doflamingo," The Joker introduced himself.

"Yovan Night," The Stranger did as well.

"I heard that you're here for the paintings?" Doflamingo said.

"Yes." Yovan nodded.

"Hmm, I like them quite a lot... I'd feel heartbroken to lose, so what made you think I would sell them away?" Doflamingo asked.

"I didn't think you would want to sell them away." Yovan shook his head with a sigh, "And I am not here to buy them."

"Oh?" A chuckle slipped out of Doflamingo's mouth, "Are you saying what I think you're saying?"

"You'll simply give them to me," Yovan nodded with a chuckle of his own, "Or I will simply take them back."

"Fifufuffu fufufufu fuufhhahahaHAHAHA!" Doflamingo's wild eerie laugh reverberated throughout the vacant surroundings, "Follow me."

He lightly jumped into the air, using something invisible as a platform to jump up, again and again, his destination being the King's plateau.

Yovan followed, but they only traversed the air a little bit before halting amidst the air, instantly turning their head towards a certain direction.

Far far in the distance, they could see Dressrosa's Colosseum, or what was the Colosseum... All that was left were flames, emerald flames.

They sensed it before it happened, but it happened right as they turned their heads, giving them no time to act.

Both vanished at the same time, appearing a few seconds later right before the Colosseum.

"W-What happened?" Doflamingo asked, desire for murder in his eyes.

"It..." Not far from him stood a stunned Diamante, and most of Doflamingo's elite officers, "We were too late." He said with trembling lips.

The ground shook, and a second later it crumbled... The entire Colosseum crumbled to an abyss beneath it, an infrastructure deep beneath the ground, but it was also destroyed.

"AHHHHH!!AAAA!! It Hurts!! It Hurtss!!!" From the depths of the ground jumped out a large figure, it was Trebol who looked to be in a somewhat sorry state.

"Is she?" Doflamingo said, noticing that Trebol was holding someone.

"Still conscious!" Trebol yelled as he jumped about, trying to put out the flames trying to devour him, something he didn't have to do for much longer as Doflamingo helped him.

Doflamingo's focus, however, was on the girl in Trebol's arms, a little girl with cute aquamarine hair, fear apparent in her eyes, but Doflamingo was very much relieved that she wasn't unconscious.

His attention turned elsewhere as he sensed the wave of feathers erupting from Yovan to put out the emerald flames. A Yovan who was slowly but surely flew through the flames.

The flames were put down, and Doflamingo got to see two floating individuals, their wings flapping loudly, one white and the other black, Laffitte and Yovan.

Laffitte handed Yovan a black paper, his expression looking blank. Yovan took it, and read it, gaining an understanding of what happened.

[Hades Of The Pantheon, God Of Death. Target: Capone Bege]

"Where is he?" Yovan asked.

"I... Dead, I think?" Laffitte responded absentmindedly.

"Dead?" Yovan said, turning his attention to Diamante, "Dead?" He asked again.

"Yes." Diamante didn't bullshit around. He kind of saw it with his own eyes, "The man known as Hades... He pierced him with his blade, then set him aflame, turning him to ashes."

"Hades?" Doflamingo had to question, killing intent clear in his eyes.

What was beneath the Colosseum was arguably his greatest treasure, a factory with the responsibility of creating some of the most magical wonders in the world.

Its value is immeasurable, yet here it is, destroyed with nothing of value left to see. He had heard of the Pantheon, of course he had.

How could one of the Warlords of the sea not know of the ever infamous Pantheon that dared to do something even he doesn't dare to do.

"Was it an accident?" Doflamingo questioned, barely holding back his anger.

"No no no, it's certainly not!!" Trebol responded angrily, "Hades targetted us, his flames! They made sure to destroy everything."

Yovan blinked twice, "The Pantheon, huh?" He seemed eerily calm as he pulled along with him a zoned-out Laffitte, soon joined by Kalifa and Kaku.

There was a long silence as the bunch processed what had taken place in this god-forsaken place.

Hades certainly left his touch of death in the place, death all about, and pure destruction. Melting ground and something akin to green lava.

Most important of all, not a body was in sight, specifically, Bege's body. That's why the Strangers were left confused about what to do, or what happened.

There was silence, then there was more silence, and even more silence. The Strangers suffered. Doflamingo also suffered, but he was suspicious as he questioned Diamante, "Are you sure Bege is dead?"

"Mm? Yes. I sensed his aura vanishing right as the flames overwhelmed him." Diamante confirmed much to Doflamingo's confusion.

But he was out for vengeance. No matter how strong the Pantheon may be, they got in his way, and for that, they shall pay the price, so he said, "It seems that we have a common enemy."

"No," Yovan responded, his expression still just as calm.

"No?" Doflamingo frowned.

"We do not," Yovan shook his head, "You asked Diamante that question because you suspected me to be working with the Pantheon... I suspect something very similar."

"You suspect me?" Doflamingo questioned with a peculiar expression, "Fufufufu fufuffufjahahhahahaahhaHAHHA!!"

Doflamingo's laughter spread widely, a very eerie laugh it was, so creepy in fact that the Strangers immediately stood by Yovan, ready for the battle.

"Do you have any idea what I have lost??! You think I work with those self-proclaimed Gods? No no no, they're nothing but trash I will surely get rid of." Doflamingo added with seething fury.

"No. I know you have lost a lot. I can see it in your eyes, but I can not help but question, how did the Pantheon know he would be here? Only my crew knew, yet here we are.

He has been in Dressrosa before we have, so he might've been detected, but is it so easy to detect the Don? I think not. You told them he'd be here, but you didn't expect they'd go so far." Yovan murmured as he harshly clenched his fist, bringing about fractures in the air.

"Are you mad?" Doflamingo had to question, feeling the situation to be absurd, "Regain your composure, and then we can talk... Perhaps we can even work out a deal regarding the paintings."

And then he turned around to walk away, expecting nothing to come out of this, but he heard those words, oh such fierce words they were, "No... You die today, either for working with the enemy or simply to soothe my anger."

"What?" If Doflamingo didn't already feel like something wasn't right, then he certainly does now as he turned around to face Yovan, "You..."
