Chapter 120: Everless Gloom II

...........

"Everless Gloom." This is what Yovan couldn't use before... Because using it means no blood to be had, just pure unhinged annihilation.

From between the waves of dark feathers, a crow appeared. It was a special crow with eyes flickering with dark shockwaves.

The crow wasn't a real crow, but one of Yovan's Everless Crow, an ability he has been working on for a long time now, and it's still not where he wants it to be... It's, however, enough for his current purpose.

[Everless Crows: 1659/∞]

The crow is his own creation, thus why it flew in the way of his blade as it was being swung down. The crow opened its chest up, showing a sphere, a dark gloomy sphere... The most condensed Hasshoken he had ever created, a sphere of pure destruction.

The crow was actually one of the two Everless crows that always accompany Yovan. Well, he was the one controlling it, making it use his Hasshoken constantly.

What he hid well, however, is the sphere that has been brewing in its chest for what feels like forever, compressing more and more to create what he would like to call the Sphere Of Destruction.

The Sphere Of Destruction is nothing but condensed vibrations and shockwaves, using the techniques of Fish-man Karate to finally perfect it.

So what will happen when his blade comes in contact with it? Basically splitting it in half and releasing it upon the world.

The Eternal spectacle that shall be called the Fracture Of Gloom took place as it thundered, the sky splitting up open to welcome the uninvited visitor that is the cracks in space.

From the Collision point spouted a tree, its dark branches spreading out into the sky, and freezing in space... Only, that wasn't the target of the attack, was it?

No, the target was the ground beneath Yovan, or the numerous strings acting as a barrier between him and Doflamingo, so what happened to the ground? What came upon the earth beneath him? The True Fracture Of Gloom.

Yovan closed his left eye again. The Golden flames vanished along with the emerald ones, Enyo disappearing into the distance as well.

The scene reflected in his right golden eye brought a smile to his pale gorgeous face... The scene of a dark abyss.

There was a tree of dark fractures splitting the sky open, but there was a tree that could only be described as the great dark tree of Yggdrasill stretching deep into the planet, forming an inky abyss.

The Fracture was thin, but it was very wide, splitting Dressrosa in two, its unknown depth being its most striking feature.

Yovan eyed it thoroughly with a sense of wildness to him, his smile slowly turning into a grin, then into, "Hah Yahah YahahahaHAHAHAHAHA!"

His loud laughter was heard by none, seemingly devoured by the dark fractures in space, basking in what he had just done.

Then he vanished with a flap of his vast dark wings, leaving behind a burst of feathers.

Not a sign of his golden or emerald flames was left... He made sure of it, only the battle between darkness and light.

"Strangers!!!! Retreat!!" He vanished but his yell still resounded through Dressrosa with such intensity it woke up those that were left unconscious.

Seizon No Hono awaited the Strangers far in the distance, Dressrosa barely seeable, yet Yovan was already there... Drawing a painting, or finishing one.

"The Fracture Of Gloom..." Yovan murmured. The painting had two sides, one sunny, vibrant with sunflowers in a vast field. In the distance, one could see the King's plateau, an elegant castle.

The other side of the painting didn't have a castle, half of the sunflower field was missing though the grave remained intact.

All that could be seen in the distance was falling feathers along with the Fracture of Gloom, extending to the sky, so graceful yet bleak at the same time.

Bleak... That's what the Strangers felt as they watched their Captain paint... They felt even more despair as he brought down the Strangers' flag, their Jolly Rojer which consists of a golden point.

Well, it's a golden point no longer as Yovan slowly but surely transformed it... Taking the shape of a crow head, a gorgeous golden crow with bleak dark eyes.

There was something very special about the crow... It was smoking a cigar in its golden beak, the same cigar the Don used to smoke.

"Why?" Laffitte asked with a strange look, "It's almost... Like a sign in the name of the dead, but he isn't dead, is he? This must be some kind of trick you two are playing?"

"Help me set it up." Yovan ignored his question as he flared his wings, leaping high to set up the flag, their Jolly Rojer.

Laffitte helped without much of a question. Kalifa and Kaku joined the duo, doing whatever they can.

The Strangers officially set up their Jolly Rojer, took them long enough, and it was witnessed by an uninvited visitor, a Marine ship.

"Let's set out... Prepare to escape if necessary." Yovan calmly ordered, not showing any signs of grief as he leaped on the edge of the Ship, eyeing the Ship that was right by their side.

Facing Yovan was a very tall individual adorned in a Marine Admiral cap above his yellow suit, complemented by vibrant orange glasses.

Yovan noted something or someone he knows on the ship. It was none other than Viola, traces of tears on her face.

She was standing next to an old made with a grave look on his face who Yovan knows from her memories to be her father.

"Yo!" The marine admiral casually said, drawing a strange look from Yovan.

"Yo?" Yovan shrugged and added, "Kizaru, right? Shall we take the battle somewhere else? Wouldn't want our people to get hurt in the crossfire, would we?"

"Ho ho ho... Nah, I'm good," Yes, speaking was one of the Admirals of the Marine, Borsalino, also known by his alias, Kizaru.

"You're good?" Yovan asked with confusion.

"Too old for this shit," Kizaru shrugged, "Anyway, here you go, and see ya!" He threw Yovan a special Den Den Mushi, then the Marine ship started sailing away.

"Too bad, don't mind breaking old people," Yovan remarked, drawing a spasm from Kizaru's face, but he didn't respond, his Marine ship vanishing into the distance toward Dressrosa.

"Let's move," Yovan ordered as he eyed the Den Den Mushi. The Strangers said nothing at the strangeness of what just happened, sailing far away.

"Head to the calm belt, the one beside North Blue," Yovan said as he took a seat on the crow's head, zoning off.

The Strangers neither talked nor interrupted his thoughtful state, Seizon No Hono experiencing an especially strange atmosphere.

It took hours, but the Den Den Mushi had to ring at some point, and Yovan didn't hesitate in answering the call.

"Yovan Night, took us too long to talk." The voice was rough, and he spoke as if there were more than one person on the line with Yovan.

"The Marines? The World Governement?" Yovan sought confirmation right away.

"We are... The Five Elders." Someone else's voice sounded from the Den Den Mushi, another of the Elders.

"Oh," Yovan let out a sigh, "What a weird terrible day... I like weird days only when I make them weird, so tell me, what do you want?"

"We'd like to invite you to take the seat of the deceased Doflamingo as one of the Warlords of The Sea." One of the Elders stated before adding, "He's deceased, right?"

"Hah YhahahahHAHAHAHA! You jesting, right?" He couldn't hold it back, bursting out laughing, "I... Do I think I'd fall for it? I just lost a Stranger, do you think I'd be so broken that I'd lose any speck of logic I have in me? No no no, I can handle it... Trust me, I can handle surviving, you all should know better."

"..." The Five Elders were silent for a while before one of them spoke, "You are dangerous... We know that, but you are nowhere as dangerous as the enemy we share."

"Think of it as a collaboration against a common enemy. You'll try to seek revenge... Can you do it?" Another Elder added.

"You can not," An Elder answered on his behalf, "You somehow found out about the Blueprints of Pluton... That's something that can be forgiven because you can do nothing with it."

"The blueprint is useless in your hands, so we won't pursue that, but we want to use your expertise and power against the enemy." The fourth Elder stated.

"Our enemy is special... They were able to manipulate you, that we know. Their purpose is to take over the Underworld, and unfortunately, they succeeded because..."

The fifth Elder stayed silent for a moment before continuing, "Because one of the last Emperors of the Underworld, Drug Peclo was found dead just this morning... Morgans has vanished, possibly hiding from them or working with them, the same with the last Emperor."

"The Underworld is now open for the taking, and they will take it... Nothing we can do." The first Elder confirmed.

"The Pantheon, allegedly a group of Gods... They are our enemies, so what say you? The Stranger, one of the Warlords of the Sea..."
