Ch 07: Nico Olvia

A week passed since they landed here,

He rented the house next to Olvia's.

He was practising his sword skills in the yard, while Ginny was practising Shave.

Olvia's door opened, he looked towards it but seeing the one coming out was her brother, killing intent appeared in his eyes.

"Ray, don't lose it"

Ginny's voice snapped him back to reality.

This was Olvia's only relative, he couldn't do anything to him.

But he really wanted to kill him, Olvia earned money for him outside but he not only wasn't grateful but also spent all of it on his girlfriend.

He didn't even earn anything but stole Olvia's money to spend it on her.

He calmed himself down.

His mood has been getting worse every day.

When he found that Zoan devil fruit in the box, he thought it was a Phantom beast devil fruit and he would soar to the sky after he ate it just like a protagonist but reality once again told him that his luck has limits.

After a search in the Encyclopedia, they found out that it was the

Zoan, Lizard-Lizard fruit, Ancient species, Deinosuchus form.

Although it is a very powerful beast and even among the best of ancient species, it isn't a phantom beast after all.

He feels that life is making a joke of him.

They have been going to the Library every morning to read.

Ginny can finally read books related to technology which she finds interesting and finally does something other than eating.

She also reads cooking recipes and makes new dishes every night, at least something is going well in his life.

He reads the Navigation material and Travel diaries he could find to enrich his knowledge about navigation.

Also, after he paid off Olvia's debt, their relationship became closer and now she also reads archaeology books that she wants to read.

And although the library in Ohara might be huge, the price they charge is also high.

She seems to have read some wrong books in the Library, which is not good for her age.

He sighed and walked up to her.

A meeting was being held, with the current Marshal Huma Babuko.

Sitting on his right was 'Steel Bone' Admiral Kong, who ate the Zoan,monkey-monkey fruit, ancient species, King Kong form.

It is said that it was because he ate an ancient species his strength was limited, otherwise with his strong body and powerful armament haki he could rival Rocks.

Sitting on his left was 'Strong Muscle' Babuto, who ate the Paramecia strong fruit.

It is the same fruit which Jesus Burgess ate in the original work.

He is also the son of the current Marshal and is said to most likely ascend to the position of the next Marshal.

"Rocks pirates have gotten stronger again, how should the Marines respond to this?"

Babuto who was sitting straight said,

"We should take some action, if we don't do anything then it will no longer be possible for us to do anything"

"It is not like we can do anything now?"

Kong retorted.

"Hmph…then why don't you take a team and fight Rocks after all you are his rival"

"Hmph"

Kong just snorted, how could he match Rocks, although he could back him that monster was too strong to be beaten.

He turned to the Marshal and said,

"Five Elders called me and told me to go to the New World to guard base G2, celestial dragons would come down in a few months so, I have to be there"

"Hmph… then you can leave today"

Marshall Huma snorted, he was from the Dove faction so he knew what they would do when they came down.

Even if he wanted to stop it, he couldn't.

"Babuto, you take a team with you and try to take down the newly joined Charlotte Linlin when she leaves the Rocks sea of influence"

"I will take Garp and Zefa with me, I need to train him after all they are our future"

Babuto patted Garp who was sleeping causing him to fall.

"I wanted them and Sengoku to stay in Paradise, but take him if you want. I am sure Sengoku can handle it alone"

Sengoku, who was sitting on the sides, looked helpless.

Now, he was the highest person in the Hawks faction, although he can get most of the resources of the faction because of this but he almost doesn't have any say in meetings like this.
