Caught in an awkward position, Kenshin wasn't that dull to not notice Viola's feeling but if he accepted King Riku's suggestion then he would surely be dead meat.

"King Riku, I appreciate the suggestion but we are pirates we live in a cruel environment." Kenshin as he glanced at Viola.

He then continued, "Viola isn't suited for that kind of life and she isn't a combatant she will just be a burden."

He already decided and chose to completely sever any connection that is why he said those hurtful words pushing Viola away.

King Riku sighed, he could only comfort her youngest daughter.

While King Riku was thinking about how to save the situation Viola stepped up and said, "I will not be a burden, I promise!"

Kenshin glanced at her and stared at her seriously asking while releasing a little bit of his conqueror's haki, pushing all the soldiers back just from his aura.

"Oh? what can you contribute to my crew?"

Viola stood her ground and faced the terrifying aura she was feeling, she tried her best and gave it her all just force her shaking legs to step forward.

Kenshin had a surprised look on his face hearing Viola introducing her powers, Hiyori who was quietly observing the whole time spoke.

The advisers that were currently in the hall whispered to each other when they found out about Kenshin's identity.

King Riku was also surprised to hear Kenshin's "amazing" feats but he chose to keep quiet and let his daughter decide her own future.

Viola lowered her head upon hearing Kenshin's history and knew that if she chose to follow him then her country and family will surely be targetted by the world government because of her connection with Kenshin.

As Viola was still hesitating, her elder sister Scarlett who was carrying her daughter Rebecca approached Viola and said.

"What are you hesitating for? the world government doesn't even care about us, they appointed a warlord that was planning on attacking our island."

She then glared at the advisers and said, "I as the Eldest Princess of the Royal Family suggest that we should ally ourselves with Kenshin, the government doesn't care about us so why should we care about what they think?"

"Elder Sister," Viola looked at her elder sister with tears in her eyes.

King Riku sighed, as he flicked his elder daughter's temple and said, "Don't spout nonsense."

"Your majesty, I think allying with Kenshin is our best option we could be an island under the protection of Kenshin, we will let them know that we are defenseless against Kenshin and decided to yield. If they ever send a reinforce which I strongly doubt then Kenshin can just easily drive them away." Kyros immediately suggested seeing King Riku's reaction.

King Riku looked at Kyros and said, "I don't have any objection about being under the protection of Kenshin, but we should ask him first."

They then all turned their attention towards Kenshin who was already rubbing his glabella.

"Kenshin, I think that having Dressrosa under your wing will greatly help you in your future battle," Jinbe said, he knew about Kenshin's grudge with Kaido, having another ally is beneficial to Kenshin's future battle.

Kenshin who was in deep, tap his glabella and said while looking at King Riku, "If you want to ally with me then you should know that Kaido one of the four emperors is my enemy and I am planning on killing him in the future which will cause a huge war."

He then turned around said as he left the hall, "I know that you want Viola to join me and I will accept her with open arms because she clearly has an impressive set of abilities which is beneficial to me. but, I want you guys to think carefully about allying with me."

Viola had a huge smile on her face when she heard Kenshin accepting her and immediately followed behind him leaving behind her family who all looked dumbfounded.

Hiyori could only shake her head as she also left the hall followed by Jinbe and Izo.
