51 Gladiator

Staring down on Dolfamingo, Kenshin already finished fusing his spatial energy within his sword and was about to attack when suddenly an unknown person arrived.

"Stay away from Dressrosa, PIRATES!"

A muscular man garbed in a gladiator outfit dashed towards Kenshin with his longsword coated with haki and attacked Kenshin.

"Trueno Bastardo!"

Kenshin turned around and removed the spatial energy on his sword as he coated it with haki and blocked the gladiator's attack.

"Oy, I'm not your enemy!" Kenshin said trying to reason with the gladiator.

"You pirates dare to fight in Dressrosa and destroy our peaceful country!" The gladiator, a skilled tactician, already lost his reasoning seeing a pile of dead bodies on the ground.

"You!" Kenshin was already on the verge of madness seeing the gladiator not listening, he coated his left hand with haki and punched the gladiator on the stomach.

*BAM!*

As the punch hit, the gladiator fell back on the ground holding his aching stomach as he tried to stand up while keeping his eyes lock on Kenshin.

"Izo, keep this idiot company!" Kenshin shouted at Izo who was watching over and guarding Hiyori while she was busy fighting Diamante.

He then turned around and saw Doflamingo gone, he looked above and saw Doflamingo behind a spider web made of strings.

Doflamingo who was panting heavily was trying his best to repair his organs that were severely injured earlier, he then controlled 3 huge strings and grabbed Pica, Diamante, and the body of Trebol.

"We need to retreat for now, send out the signal," Doflamingo said to Diamante who pulled out a flare gun and fired it in the sky.

He then used his sky path and immediately controlled his strings as they flew away.

Seeing Doflamingo fleeing Kenshin was about to catch up using his spatial rift but was stopped by Hiyori.

"Kenshin, let us check the situation here first."

Kenshin sighed as he unsheathed his sword, and said while staring at the direction where Doflamingo fled, "That guy was strong but my devil fruit can easily divert and repel his strings which were his main source of strength."

He then turned his attention towards the gladiator who was still fighting against Izo.

"That gladiator is also strong,"

"You murderers! I will see to it that all of you will die!" Kyros shouted as he attacked more aggressively and completely forgot about defending.

Izo who was trying to evade and defend the gladiator's attack was already on the brink of madness and shouted at Kenshin, "Can't I kill this bastard?!"

"Kyros! Don't attack the ones who saved our country!"

King Riku who just arrived shouted seeing his son-in-law fighting the people who saved the country.

Hearing the familiar voice, Kyros looked at his life side and saw King Riku and immediately ran towards him.

"Are you okay, your majesty?" Kyros asked.

*Pak!*

King Riku smacked his head and scolded, "What's wrong with you?! can't you see that those people were the ones who stopped Doflamingo and his goons from taking over Dressrosa."

Lowering his head, Kyros turned around and bowed his head as he apologized, "I'm so sorry for attacking you earlier, I thought that you pirates were fighting each other and made Dressrosa your battleground."

Kenshin smiled and replied, "You don't need to apologize, you only protected your country so no harm done."

He then looked at King Riku and said, "We're only passing by, we will be taking our leave now."

Turning around, Kenshin and his crew were about to leave when King Riku spoke.

"Please stay, I would like to properly thank you for saving our country."
