8 Barragan Side Story Part 1

How dare they, how dare they defy me the Godking of hueco mundo, how dare those lowly shinigami defy me. Those false hollows, the shinigami, and Aizen, how dare they all defy me the only god of this world. Even as I died, I tried to strike once at Aizen and yet I faded before I could do any real damage waking up in a black void.

Looking around I saw complete and utter nothingness. Looking down I saw something strange happening to my body. My hands were slowly regenerating my flesh, first my muscles and soon enough my skin. Then once it was down I saw that instead of the wrinkles my more human form had it was smooth skin.

Like those of a twenty-year-old human. And then I felt something on my face. Reaching up to touch my face, I felt the same skin gathering around my bare skull repeating the process. I couldn't understand why this was happening, I should been dead fading to nonexistence like so many before me.

This was all wrong, and as I felt every inch of my body regrow my lost flesh I saw it. A bright light in the distance, growing larger and larger with each passing second. Eventually, it engulfed sending them toward some unknown location, somewhere beyond this nothingness.

I was greeted by the sun staring right at my face as it rose into the sky signaling daytime. Around me was a vast grassland alongside what seemed like a huge tree growing in the center of the plain. No, it would be more accurate to call the stuff underneath me…moss growing on the tree roots.

While I had no interest in the human world beyond destroying one little town, I knew trees didn't grow this big. It was odd, to say the least, and so took a step forward I felt the moss die underneath my feet. This was odd, to say the least as I couldn't feel any reishi in the air or anywhere else. Not even from my own body, which should have been impossible.

I was a hollow, spiritual entity that required Reishi to exist. Yet here I was, existing in some strange place unlike the human world or hueco mundo. No this was something beyond the three worlds, something that was beyond my sight. This should've been impossible, no world exists beyond my sight and so this one shouldn't be even here. Yet before me was an entirely new world, one without Reishi yet my Senescencia was still active albeit a bit different.

Concentrating, I eventually stopped the power of my decay and shut it down for right now until it was truly needed. This was neither the time nor the place to use my ability, no what I needed was information on where I was. Maybe even a nice new throne made out of the native's skulls and bones, like the one I used in Karakura town. Exploring a bit, I saw many more of these exact types of trees, alongside numbers on them. What their designation was for I had no idea nor care as my first prerogative was to explore and find any form of civilization.

Leaping from tree to tree, I explored my surroundings a bit, finding several ships of various sizes alongside odd banners. As I passed by a couple, I let loose my power a bit and began to destroy some of these less-than-pleasing ships. Eventually, I spotted a very odd-looking pathway or at least I believe it to be one. Then I saw the ship, a ship with bone decorations on it and a throne worthy of me to sit upon. Approaching it, I saw a group of humans unloading supplies off it, wearing skull masks for some reason.

Then I saw their leader, or at least I believe them to be their leader and it was a tall skinny human wearing golden bone armor. Alongside a crystal crown over a golden skull mask probably trying to flaunt his wealth. Honestly, it was so meaningless as it would all disappear soon. Approaching the group a couple of men shouted some meaningless words I didn't pay any attention to. As I walked passed them they tried to attack me but in that instance, I activated my ability and they slowed done, although that didn't matter.

Extending my power, I surrounded my purple aura over the two who looked confused at the situation and eventually, they turned to not even bones, but instead dust. The rest of these insects all backed away, drawing their weapons and shaking in fear. Sighing, I approached the tall captain whose angry eyes I could see underneath his mask. The insect spoke in a gravely old voice, whilst drawing a truly long longsword, with the handle being decorated in gold.

"How dare, a lowly being like yourself not bow to me the Golden King Daiko a pirate with a bounty of 100 million berries."

Hearing that I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, confused by why he was telling me such useless information. After all the amount a "bounty" as he called it was worth didn't matter when he was about to die. Although if the insect wanted to flaunt this around alongside his title, well there wasn't much I could do about that. So I let him get it all out of his system, as he ranted away trying to intimidate me.

It was honestly so pathetic when you thought about it, these humans like to rant about their titles or other useless things to try and either impress you or intimidate you. Lifting my hand slowly as the tall human raised their sword getting ready to slash down. Yet as my aura extended outward developing the human body, it crumbled to dust as the gold slowly decayed, after all, everything fell to age eventually.

"W-W-Whats happening to m-m-me?"

The human said as their body slowly succumbed to old age, with more of their body falling apart with time. Then they collapsed to dust alongside the rest of their weapons and armor having succumbed to old age and decay.

"Honestly just die and stop ranting, it's useless."
