Syrup Village! - Part 1

"Oh, you shouldn't underestimate Buggy just because I sent him flying. He is a ruthless and smart pirate with some idiotic tendencies. He created those Buggy balls on his own, and their firepower is genuinely big. Also, Buggy himself was a Devil Fruit user who had eaten Bara Bara no mi. He could separate his body into million pieces and still not die. He could only be hurt by blunt forces, armament Haki, or if he is thrown in the sea."

Zoro wasn't willing to believe that someone would survive apart cut into million pieces. If that were true, then he who used a sword would be like a child in front of him.

"Even the strongest swordsman Dracule Mihawk cannot kill Buggy unless he coats his sword in Armament Haki." Luffy had explained to his first mate when they were travelling on the boat. He had broken Zoro's bubble who thought he could win or at least draw a fight with Dracule Mihawk. But on the boat, Luffy had told Zoro about Mohawk's ability and the ability of powerhouses like him who could level a mountain with a punch, cut it in half, melt it into lava, freeze the ocean, and other such abilities to bring his feet back on the ground.

"If you ever meet the strongest swordsman before reaching the new world, promise me you won't challenge him to a fight." Luffy had made him promise not to give up his life when he had not even grown fully or had travelled the world like his rival.

Zoro gave his word after being repeatedly pestered by Luffy. Zoro understood that he was but a weak insect in front of the world powerhouses that could be squashed at any time of the day.

"Luffy, I want to learn about this Haki. Do you know where or how we can learn it?" Zoro asked impatiently. He didn't like feeling weak.

"I know some information on how to train in Haki. Don't worry. I will teach once we find a good ship. Also, I have my system. There is a booklet in it which explains everything about the three Haki's. But they are costly right now for me." Luffy revealed.

"Oh, right, you have your system. Guess then we need to find a way to earn money if we will not plunder it from the common people." Zoro said, disappointed.

"Well, yes, I have a few plans on how we fill our treasury. First, we hunt bad pirates for their bounty in East Blue. Second, we go and control one of the islands in the New World or Grand Line and generate revenue through tax and by establishing a profitable business. But it's not feasible if we do not have a large force to manage them, nor are we strong enough to get one, and I don't want to be bound in one place. So we will leave this method to the last. The third method I find to my liking is that we go and look for treasures lost in the sea or on an Island stashed away by some pirate." Luffy had one more idea as to where he can get lots of money. There was a lot of Gold, Jewels, and rubies on the Sky Island, Skypiea. But to reach there, it would take his crew at least a year before they can experience all the islands that come in between.

Luffy then took out a thin book from his inventory. It had a title on it saying Rokushiki.

"Take this; it is one of the special superhuman martial art that is developed by the Marines to train their powerhouses. I bought it from the system with all the money that Nami had taken from Alvida. Unfortunately, I could only buy one skill from the set of six. It is called Soru. It allows the users to move at extremely high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds and with greater power. It is explained in the book that the principle of this move is to kick off the ground at least ten times in the blink of an eye. But you need to train your body before you can even achieve that feat." Luffy explained.

Luffy had learned it easily because of his superhuman strength, Incubus Physique, and his rubber body. Once Luffy got to know the principle, he mastered it in his first attempt.

"Learn this, and you will get powerful attack and dodging abilities."

Before they could talk more, Boodle came running to them with the rest of the town's people in his tow.

They all were wielding various domestic tools, rods, and knives in their hand.

"Look! There are still some pirates left here! Let's kill those sons of bitches."

"Wait! They are not with Buggy!" Boodle stopped them before they attacked their benefactors.

He explained to them about Luffy and his group. The town's people seemed to understand they were just now going to attack someone who helped them beat those pirates to the sea.

"Don't worry; Buggy won't come here again. Here, take this." Luffy threw the bag filled with gold and silver to Boodle.

"Whatever Buggy took from you is in there. Also, I added half of Buggy's treasure so you can rebuild your town and build some wall defences around town to fend off pirates in the future if they dare to come here. Ah, there are canons and some buggy balls in the tent. You should install them on the wall when they are complete." Luffy explained to them the firepower of the Buggy Ball and gave them a warning to only use it to gain strong pirates. He also advised them to build a wall and finance a group of guards to protect their island because marines won't come to defend them on time.

Boodle and the town's people were very thankful to Luffy for his generosity. They couldn't believe there could be a good-natured pirate like him in this world.

When Luffy and his Nakama were about to leave the town, the town's people wanted to hold them for a day more to celebrate their freedom. But Luffy declined their offer since he knew he had to go somewhere where he would direly be needed. If they got late, then the consequences would be dire for some people.

"Ah, I just love the smell of the sea. Shishishi!" Luffy shouted as he sat at the small boat's bow that had a sail and a simple cabin to protect them from rain. The townspeople also gifted some food supplies for their journey ahead.

The following nine days were heaven on earth for Nami and an eye-opening experience for Zoro.

When it was night, Luffy would enter the only cabin on the boat with Nami to train her in bed while Zoro doused off outside or he tried to sleep in the midst of all the moaning, panting and thumping sounds coming from the cabin. Every morning when he faced Luffy, Zoro would have the urge to cut the grinning bastard. Zoro was also a little envious of his captain being able to sleep with a gorgeous woman like Nami. Her womanly glow has increased in the time they spend on the sea.

They also visited a deserted island, a land of rare animals. They helped a man named Gaimon, who was literally stuck in a box for twenty years, to find his treasure. Unfortunately, the treasure chest was all empty. Luffy wanted to help Gaimon with his situation, but the said man knew the chest had become a part of his body. His body would break if they tried to separate the box from his body.

Luffy gave him a choice to travel with them to the next island to live in the midst of humans and interact with them, but Gaimon refused again. Gaimon wanted to stay on the deserted island itself and protect its inhabitants, the weird mix-breed animals, from greedy merchants and pirates.

Without a way to help the guy, Luffy could only leave him there though he promised himself that he would bring Trafalgar Law to the island and have him use his Ope Ope no mi to help Gaimon in getting out of the chest.

For nine days, the trio stayed on the rocking boat before seeing their first destination, Syrup Village.

Luffy was pretty adamant about going there first rather than going to Nami's hometown to kick Arlong's ass.

Fortunately, Luffy gave a good excuse, or else he would have been beaten blue by Nami, who was getting stronger every day.

"Yosh! We have finally made it to Syrup Village. Let's go and find ourselves a good ship and a Nakama." Luffy said to Nami who had a glowing face and sleep-lacking-murderous-looking Zoro.

"I want to drink booze and get some sleep. Do not disturb until tomorrow; you got that captain!" Zoro said with a tired-looking face.

"Ah... Oh, okay. Go and sleep well, Zoro." Luffy replied while feeling pity for his first mate's situation. Whose blood will not boil when they have to hear the continuous sound of a couple making love to each other passionately for many hours at night.

Even Nami felt pity for the lone swordsman walking along the beach to find his way to the village. Luffy had Nami to spend his night, but Zoro had no one. They had only noticed Zoro's plight early morning when he finally snapped and told them to keep it down. Before, Nami and Luffy were so engrossed in each other that they forgot they had another man travelling on the same boat.

"Sigh... he needs to get himself a girl. Being around us alone would only drive him mad. Poor guy."

"Yeah, you are right. With a screamer like you on the ship, no men would be able to sleep without a boner in their pants."

"What?! I don't scream." Nami blushed, her cheeks red in shame and anger.

"Yes, you do." Luffy suddenly makes a Nami expression and shouts, mimicking her tone, "Oh, Yes, Luffy! Fuck me, fill me up with your long, hard cock. Faster, oh god, yes, I will give up all the money just to get filled up by your big dick. Motto! Motto!"

"SHUT IT, YOU INSENSIBLE BASTARD" Nami yelled with a red face and looked around to see if anyone had heard his nonsense.

When she found no one nearby, she yelled again, "No more pussy for you, Luffy. You deserve that. Hmph!" She pouted at the end.

Luffy massaged the small thump growing on his head and smirked as he replied, "Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. You can't keep your hands off from me for a day now."
